“Callie did a fantastic job taking my dog out for walks this week! She is friendly and easy to communicate with, engaging and caring toward my pup, and I would absolutely reach out to her again for pet care.”

“Lauren did a great job handling our 3.5 yr old pug. She has a limp from a recent injury and Lauren was great, playing with her inside rather than doing a full walk which the vet told us not to do for a while. Additionally, she did everything we asked to a T, when the request was last minute. Thank you so much Lauren!”
“Randi is wonderful and I highly recommend her to other loving pet parents out there! From the introduction to scheduled walks, Randi remains compassionate and caring to my pups! I wish I could take her with me to my upcoming move LOL!”
About: I’m not just a dog sitter—I’m a calming, comforting presence your pup can rely on. With patience, affection, and a natural ability to put dogs at ease, I create a stress-free, loving environment that feels like home. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I have plenty of time to spare. My daily routine allows me to manage being available and home to take care of the pups I provide a safe, calm, and dependable environment where pets feel completely secure. I prioritize consistency, gentle handling, and close attention to each pet’s needs, creating a trustworthy space where they can relax, feel understood, and thrive while you’re away.
“So glad that I hired Breanna for walking my son Chico! She sent pics and regular updates, and was so kind. I felt very comfortable leaving Chico in her care. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve been taking care and training dogs since I was young. I have patience with senior care for older dogs and can offer additional support with training younger pups. I recently graduated from college and work part time, I am a morning person and prefer to get up and active earlier in the day. I live in a gated community right next to a large dog park. I have two lovely and friendly dogs currently in home with me and crate trained.
About: Animals have always been a central part of my life. From raising dogs from puppyhood to their senior years to caring for my own beloved cats, I understand the deep bond we share with our pets. My flexible work schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your furry family members, ensuring they never feel lonely. Through my years of experience with friends' pets and on Rover, I have cared for animals of all ages and temperaments. I am well-equipped to handle: Diverse Needs: Experience with high-energy breeds, high-anxiety personalities, and pets with permanent physical disabilities. Specialized Care: Comfortable with senior needs, administering medications (pill takers), and managing picky eaters. Routine Consistency: I aim to follow your pet’s existing routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and separation anxiety. Frequent Updates: I know how it feels to miss your fur babies, so I prioritize sending plenty of photos and updates to keep your mind at ease. Whether your pet is big or small, they will receive the same patient, loving care I give my own. I look forward to meeting your best friend! Due to my flexible job, I am able to care for a pet any time of day. It's pretty rare for me to have time restrictions. I always do my very best to maintain your pets daily routine so to keep anxiety levels down and make sure both pet and parent feel comfortable.

About: I take every pet’s care seriously and treat them like family. As a medical student, I’m detail-oriented, responsible, and attentive to safety. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and temperaments, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, and following specific routines. I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently in med school without a rigorous, available morning and evenings, as I study for an exam. Willing to agree to routine and schedule I will care for pets however you advice and according to your guidance, typically within your home unless it’s for a walk or additional services
About: I am trained in Dog Behavior and Management from my previous job at Camp Bow Wow. I’m bubbly, kind, and patient with humans and dogs. I recently moved away from home where my family dog lives. But when I was home I did all feeding, bathing, walks, playing, and training. I have a fenced in backyard and friendly neighborhood dogs that love to play (if your pup is interested and comfortable). Availability 24/7 for walks.
About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. I love sending photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind and see how your pet is doing.
About: I am a former teacher and I love dogs as much as I love kids. Dogs are creatures who need attention, affection and lots of kisses! I live in the heart of Downtown Detroit and is walking distance from Comerica Park, Ford Field, Campus Martius Park, Fox Theater, The Filmore & Little Caesars Arena. I live in the heart of downtown Detroit and I enjoy walking my dog several times a day. We go to the doggie parks that are in close proximity to the apartment, and we have a dog park at my apartment complex that’s great for meet and greets with other dogs. I would care for pets in someone else’s home by respecting the area in which the dog is most comfortable meaning changing pee, pee pads, making sure their food and water bowls are full. And I will make sure that their dog is treated as if the owner were at home with lots of belly rubs. I care for my dog in my home the same way I make sure it’s a clean environment a safe environment, where my dog feels comfortable.
About: *We currently have one foster dog in our back room, completely gated hallway with a closed door. We have had many fosters and clients who are pet-reactive and have found this to be a perfect set up for separation. This particular foster is 14, very small, blind, and deaf, so she sleeps most of the day and doesn’t bark. Your pet will likely not know she is in the house. Hello there, My name is Karen / but not 'a Karen,' I swear. I volunteer walking dogs at the local shelter so am comfortable with pretty much all pets (but we do live in an apartment so please see bottom section for ones we cannot care for). We have fostered everything from energetic puppies to FIV+ cats, couch potatoes to zoomie kings-and-queens. Seniors and animals who need lots of affection are our specialties! We have no resident pets. Fosters come and go and will be noted on the top line if current residing. I am not regularly working because of some health issues, so there is a ton of flexibility in my schedule and in our home. If I'm not around, my boyfriend Dave usually is: sometimes he might be the one caring for and walking your pet, or meeting up with you for pick up/drop off. Once in a while, I work 8 hour shifts on weekends, but he is home during that. After doing Rover for a few months, we realized that Dave ends up doing quite a bit! Please know that even though you'll mostly be messaging me through the app, he will play a very big part in the pet-sitting. Between the two of us, your pet will not be alone much at all while boarding. We also have lots of toys, beds, a crate, and snacks, so all you’ll have to bring is food. To me, there is no point in having a pet unless you're going to spoil them. I will do everything possible to make sure your loved one isn't missing you too much. There are a few pets we’re unable to take. Our apartment can be noisy with people outside, neighbors coming in and out, etc…If your dog is nervous and fearful, those noises can exacerbate that in an already strange situation/new place for them. We also want to be respectful of our neighbors so cannot take loud, constant barking. A normal amount is expected : ) Because we have so many furry friends coming and going, we now require vaccination records and proof of purchase for flea meds before your first visit. I typically do photos and updates once in the evening around 7:00 or 8:00 but can do more or less if you’d like! I tend to be a yapper so try to limit myself to just once haha Generally, I just am very loving to all creatures. I volunteer a lot and am used to many, many kinds of animals. I live in a loft, so that can be confusing sometimes for dogs who are used to going potty in a yard (leashed potty break on a city street and puppy pads are what typically do here), but there is plenty of space to run around in the loft because it is one open space, so playtime is not an issue.
About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Midtown Detroit. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. My partner and I currently have 2 cats. I have previously adopted and fostered dogs and have volunteer experience walking dogs in the shelter setting. I have years of experience caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, and I am coming up on a year of experience using rover. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. Feel free to message me and work out plan that best fits you and your pets’ needs. I’m more than happy to be accommodating to your special requests - don’t be afraid to ask! I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.
About: I’ve been employed with a local, woman owned pet daycare facility for the last two years which has given me the ability to provide enriching and stimulating care for your pets! I have specialized training in emergency situations, training regimens, and new puppy routines! I hope to provide the best experience not only for you, but your pet as well🐾 I am currently available full time for all services listed, I allow same day booking for the convenience of my clients. My schedule will remain open moving forward! I have crates that can be provided if need be, I have a 7 month old puppy that will be able to keep your fur baby company if you would like to choose that option or he may remain separated during your pets stay. I do allow pets to sleep comfortably whether that is in a crate or in the bed with myself, I love to keep the same routine that you would have in your own home to provide the best possible stay for your pet!
About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)
