I was extremely nervous as this was my first time utilizing Rover, as I usually book with PetSmart but I wanted to make sure my senior dog was well taken care of as boarding can be stressful for older dogs. Once we had the meet and greet, my dogs immediately loved Jess. She made sure that their routine stayed as close to the same as at home to ensure their comfort, and sent pictures and updates daily (which I loved). About: I grew up with all types of pets, and pet sat for friends and family throughout undergrad. I've cared predominantly for dogs, ranging from a young miniture dachshund to an elderly lab mix. I am more than happy to take on new experiences and can swiftly adapt to meet your pets needs. In addition to caring for pets, I have an ever growing (and thriving) plant collection in my own home and have frequently taken on plant sitting as well. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable drop-in visits and dog walks while balancing my other professional responsibilities. I carefully schedule each visit so every pet receives the time, attention, companionship, exercise, and consistency they deserve. My goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, cared for, and confident while they're apart. Because I provide care in my clients' homes, my goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure in the environment they know best. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences, so I take the time to carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any other special requests. Safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure before every walk, and I remain attentive to my surroundings to help keep pets safe. I also pay close attention to each pet's body language and comfort level, allowing them to build trust with me at their own pace. As a small business owner, I understand the importance of professionalism, reliability, and respecting my clients' homes. I will treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own, leaving it just as I found it. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I'll provide updates and photos during my visits to give you peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for every pet to feel loved, cared for, and comfortable, and for every pet parent to feel confident knowing their furry family member is in dependable, compassionate hands.
About: I absolutely love animals and have been around them my whole life. I’ve taken care of my own dogs growing up. Neighbors and friends have also had me take care of their cats and dogs while on vacation many years in a row. I am a college student and I have a part time job here in the neighborhood. My classes are currently online giving me much flexibility throughout my day. I am very loving towards all animals and will be available for him/her for what they may need. Walks, food, water, playtime, love, exercise, and more.
About: I am a long time animal lover with a large verity of pet care experience! I’ve looked after Yorkies, Great Danes and everything in between, owned both dogs and cats of my own (currently have 3 cats), and have been walking, sitting and fostering dogs since I was a teenager. Been through training courses with dogs so I’m familiar with training practices and I’ve also cared for pets that were sick or injured, administered medicine and cared for wounds. I love both cats and dogs and have always been great with all pets!! I’d love to meet your furry friends and help out! My schedule is pretty flexible, I just work some evenings. I was extremely nervous as this was my first time utilizing Rover, as I usually book with PetSmart but I wanted to make sure my senior dog was well taken care of as boarding can be stressful for older dogs. Once we had the meet and greet, my dogs immediately loved Jess. She made sure that their routine stayed as close to the same as at home to ensure their comfort, and sent pictures and updates daily (which I loved). About: 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, sizes and ages have taught me that every dog really is one-of-a-kind, and I honor all of their unique personalities and needs. I do sincerely respect dogs, but I always have so much fun spending time with them! I’m a student, and I’m busy with class from 12:30-4 M-TH, and I sell baked goods every other Sunday, but I have time to be in and out on those days. I have a medium-small 3rd floor apartment with a very gentle 8 year old poodle, who I’ve noticed is a comforting presence to nervous dogs. I live a very short walk away from a great dog park.
