“I highly recommend Jeannette to anyone looking for someone to walk their furry friends! She has been part of our routine for a year now and provides M-F walks for my feisty and funny poodle. My pooch loves Jeannette and is excited to see her every time. She gets full-body wags! Jeannette knows dogs and is savvy with the weather. She always has water available on play dates and lets me know if she spots anything of concern with my pooch. Jeannette is reliable and trustworthy. Oh, and as an added bonus, she also offers boarding service. I can't say enough good things! Jeannette is amazing!!!”

“I had a regular walker cancel for a life interruption last minute on my midterm test day and Lukis was wonderful. It was as if they were Kronk’s caretaker for months. He was happy and I had no worries about him while I was testing. I would definitely go to them again for any caretaking needs in the future.”

“Callie did a fantastic job taking my dog out for walks this week! She is friendly and easy to communicate with, engaging and caring toward my pup, and I would absolutely reach out to her again for pet care.”

“Mary Kay , Arrived on time was very professional, nice, and prompt. My dog Dro loves her everytime she takes him for a walk he’s happy and excited thank you Mary Kay for everything I would definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“Randi professionally amicably, efficiently and thoroughly cared for my Shih Tzu during this last trip that I was gone out of state. I really appreciate the way that she took care of my dog and documented with thorough feedback. I feel confident using rover.com because of the communication and the insurance.”

“Tara has been amazing with my eight-month-old puppy, Rosie! On the days I have a 90+ minute commute, I know Rosie is in great hands. Tara makes sure she’s walked, played with, and has everything she needs, including food and water. She’s incredibly communicative, reliable, and someone I trust completely. Tara continues to be my go-to for pup care, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet!”

About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.
“Hanan is AMAZING! She has taken our 5 year old German Shepherd Kudo on walks as well as watched her overnight in our home. She is dog-reactive, and it feels so good knowing we can trust Hanan to keep distance from other dogs on walks & keep up with the training we are doing, while keeping Kudo safe. We always feel comfortable knowing Hanan does a great job caring for her, giving her lots of love & play, and making sure she is safe. Hanan communicates quickly and sends great updates with photos - you really can tell she loves what she does. Thank you Hanan!!”

“Izzy is fantastic with our nervous dog. She’s done one-off dog walks as well as daytime walks when we’ve been on vacation for a week or more. Kind, responsible, caring, and communicative.”

“Lauren has been wonderful with our shy girl. She has taken the time to get to know her, and Gala definitely enjoys her walks with her. I highly recommend Lauren if you want a caring, responsible and reliable dog walker.”

“Moxie and I just love Allie! She’s great at communication and is super helpful whenever I need her. She goes above and beyond even bringing in my packages from the porch. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker.”

“Azariah is the best! She accommodated last minute and my girls loved her! They are dog reactive and have to be walk separately and Azariah had no problem either. She’s the sweetest and communicated well with me. 10/10 will recommend and will be using her again”

About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. I love sending photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind and see how your pet is doing.

About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.
“We’ve been so happy to find Caelan! She communicates fast and friendly, is reliable, and has given us great peace of mind knowing our new energetic pup is getting activity through the day. She is attentive to our doggos needs and has gone above and beyond. We will definitely be booking with her more in the future!”

About: Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine (WFH yogi) mean tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. Pets that I know can sometimes book care in my home, I only take one pet family at a time for my home daycare for special attention. I usually send you 2ish updates with photos per day. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. I WFH a few hours a week as a property manager, so I'm very available for pets who need more attention. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial visit, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This usually means smoother transitions for pets and humans. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 20 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your estimate. You are very welcome to book drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Just click Drop In on my profile and select your preferred time and day, and I'll message back same day. Your home is my home base, I bring my groceries/book/yoga mat. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. I am responsible, a great communicator, and will always respond to your messages.
“So glad that I hired Breanna for walking my son Chico! She sent pics and regular updates, and was so kind. I felt very comfortable leaving Chico in her care. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have been caring for animals since elementary school. I watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends of the family. As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. The arch of my kindness and care is not limited to animals, as I also provide care for the elderly. I cared for both of my grandparents and my father until his passing. I currently provide care and other services to a 104 year-old young lady who is believed to be my community’s oldest living resident and yes, she still walks and does not use a wheelchair. I am self-employed and have a very flexible schedule. I can care for your pet any day of the week (unless I have another pet scheduled for that day) and at times convenient for most people. I am here to follow your instructions and schedule without deviation. Your fur baby will be feed exactly at the time(s) directed by you, same with any medication(s). For dogs, I will take them outside for walks and indoor/outdoor play as weather permits, and see that their water is always fresh with some treats and cuddles too. For cats, it is play and more play; plus fresh water and treats, then snuggling when we are done.
