“Our dog is a little wary of strangers and he loved Jeannette right away!! He greeted her like family the first time he met her and I immediately felt comfortable having our dog in her care. She is a total professional and gives us such peace of mind. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. I don’t have a job at the moment and have a lot of time on my hands so I would love to take care of your precious babies I actually will not be able to take care of your pets at my house as I do have some pets that don’t get along with other animals so I wouldn’t want to take the risk but I would love to come to your house and take care of your pets and walk them and look after them exactly how you want me to

About: I’ve cared for plenty dogs and cats over the years, helping family, friends, and neighbors with feeding, walks, playtime, distributing medication, potty breaks, and check-ins. I even have my own love baby . I’m very patient, attentive, dependable. I only accept bookings on days when I’m completely available, allowing me to dedicate my full attention to your pet. I plan my schedule around each booking so your pet receives consistent care, companionship, playtime, and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I follow your instructions and routines, keep a close eye on your pet, and treat your home with the same and or even better respect I would my own. I’ll also provide updates and pictures so you can feel confident while you’re away.
“Tara has been amazing with my eight-month-old puppy, Rosie! On the days I have a 90+ minute commute, I know Rosie is in great hands. Tara makes sure she’s walked, played with, and has everything she needs, including food and water. She’s incredibly communicative, reliable, and someone I trust completely. Tara continues to be my go-to for pup care, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet!”

“Azariah is the best! She accommodated last minute and my girls loved her! They are dog reactive and have to be walk separately and Azariah had no problem either. She’s the sweetest and communicated well with me. 10/10 will recommend and will be using her again”

“Lauren went above and beyond today! My keys weren't accessible at my house so she drove all the way to my work and grabbed my other set, just so zig could get her walk in. She's truly the best!”

About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. Feel free to message me and work out plan that best fits you and your pets’ needs. I’m more than happy to be accommodating to your special requests - don’t be afraid to ask! I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.
“Randi is wonderful and I highly recommend her to other loving pet parents out there! From the introduction to scheduled walks, Randi remains compassionate and caring to my pups! I wish I could take her with me to my upcoming move LOL!”
“So glad that I hired Breanna for walking my son Chico! She sent pics and regular updates, and was so kind. I felt very comfortable leaving Chico in her care. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have a family dog of 12 years that I helped my parents train. I have also fostered multiple dogs including senior dogs who were on medication and needed more attention. I am currently a 2nd year Physican Assistant student at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am entering my clinical year, meaning I will be working different shifts each month for an entire year. Due to my very diverse schedule, I would be able to pick up shifts as needed and can be flexible from month to month. I live in an apartment complex in Midtown Detroit. The complex has a large gated fence around it that many dogs go out to. My apartment is about 500 square feet and is suitable for small to medium sized dogs!
“I had a regular walker cancel for a life interruption last minute on my midterm test day and Lukis was wonderful. It was as if they were Kronk’s caretaker for months. He was happy and I had no worries about him while I was testing. I would definitely go to them again for any caretaking needs in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and genuine love for animals of all temperaments. I have experience caring for both energetic dogs and sensitive cats, including shy or anxious pets. I pay close attention to each animal’s routine, body language, and comfort level, ensuring safe, stress-free walks and visits. I treat every pet like they’re my own, with reliability, consistency, and lots of affection. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine as I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to each pet’s needs. I am able to plan walks, feeding visits, and playtime consistently throughout the day, including mornings and afternoons. This allows me to give pets reliable attention, follow their routines closely, and provide calm, unhurried care without time pressure or distractions. When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, trust, and respect for the environment at all times. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, ensuring pets remain secure, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I maintain a calm, attentive presence so animals feel safe and relaxed. I also respect the client’s home by keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. Building trust through reliability, clear communication, and responsible care is at the heart of everything I do.
“Callie did a fantastic job taking my dog out for walks this week! She is friendly and easy to communicate with, engaging and caring toward my pup, and I would absolutely reach out to her again for pet care.”

About: CCS Grad Student based West Village. Grew up in a Shitzu home, but I only get to see her on weekends. However, I've been taking care of small dogs and pet-sitting dogs and cats for fam/friends for the last 4 years. I'm a full-time grad student, so aside from evening or afternoon classes, I'm flexible. Morning and/or Evening walking + feeding schedules are no issue. I’m a morning person! I've cared for pets in my own home or their own, and my primary focus is always making sure they are comfortable. Usually, that means trying my best to follow their normal routines.
About: I am trained in Dog Behavior and Management from my previous job at Camp Bow Wow. I’m bubbly, kind, and patient with humans and dogs. I recently moved away from home where my family dog lives. But when I was home I did all feeding, bathing, walks, playing, and training. I have a fenced in backyard and friendly neighborhood dogs that love to play (if your pup is interested and comfortable). Availability 24/7 for walks.
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover and was the proud pet parent of a Yorkie-Poodle named Jazz, who was my best friend and companion for 15 wonderful years. Saying goodbye to him in 2019 was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced, but caring for him taught me that every pet has their own unique personality, routine, and needs—and that they deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, and love. Professionally, I own a client-focused business where trust, reliability, and attention to detail are essential every day. Those same qualities carry over into the way I care for pets. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I provide dog walks and drop-in visits in your home, where your pet can remain comfortable in the environment they know and love. Before our first visit, I take the time to learn about your pet's routine, personality, preferences, favorite activities, and any special instructions so I can provide care that's tailored to their individual needs. During each visit, I'll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, exercise, playtime, and any other care your pet needs. Whether your pet enjoys an energetic walk, a favorite toy, quiet companionship, or simply extra affection, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I believe consistency is important, so I strive to keep your pet's normal routine as uninterrupted as possible. I'll always ensure your pet's safety and well-being by paying close attention to their behavior and surroundings, while treating your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. Communication is just as important as great pet care, so you'll receive updates and photos after each visit, giving you peace of mind while you're away. I do not offer overnight stays, and medication requests are considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure I can safely meet your pet's needs. My goal is simple: to provide dependable, compassionate care so your pet feels loved, comfortable, and secure, while giving you complete confidence that they're in caring, trustworthy hands. I look forward to meeting you and providing your beloved companion the same kindness, patience, and unconditional love that made my 15 years with Jazz so special. Pet care is something I intentionally build into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable drop-in visits and dog walks while balancing my other professional responsibilities. I carefully schedule each visit so every pet receives the time, attention, companionship, exercise, and consistency they deserve. My goal is to make sure both pets and their owners feel comfortable, cared for, and confident while they're apart. Because I provide care in my clients' homes, my goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure in the environment they know best. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and preferences, so I take the time to carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any other special requests. Safety is always my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure before every walk, and I remain attentive to my surroundings to help keep pets safe. I also pay close attention to each pet's body language and comfort level, allowing them to build trust with me at their own pace. As a small business owner, I understand the importance of professionalism, reliability, and respecting my clients' homes. I will treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect in my own, leaving it just as I found it. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so I'll provide updates and photos during my visits to give you peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for every pet to feel loved, cared for, and comfortable, and for every pet parent to feel confident knowing their furry family member is in dependable, compassionate hands.
About: I grew up with all types of pets, and pet sat for friends and family throughout undergrad. I've cared predominantly for dogs, ranging from a young miniture dachshund to an elderly lab mix. I am more than happy to take on new experiences and can swiftly adapt to meet your pets needs. In addition to caring for pets, I have an ever growing (and thriving) plant collection in my own home and have frequently taken on plant sitting as well. I am a full-time law student and work part-time on the weekends. During the week, my schedule is flexible, providing me time before, after, or even between classes to check in on your pets. On the weekends, I typically work in the evening but remain free all morning. I also love to get outside and go for walks as much as I can and would love to have a furry friend come along! I believe caring for a pet in their own home is the better option. I think pets tend to feel more safe and secure in a familiar environment, which can help counter having an unfamiliar person around at the start. Additionally, in their own home, pets have access to all the food, toys, and other comforts they are used to. My first priority is to make sure your pet is safe and happy. I am always more than happy to adapt to your pets specific needs.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Elmwood Park
Raven has walked Harlem multiple times and she has boarded him she sends me so many videos and her commutation is amazing she takes such good care of my lil pug also she had a midnight walk that work for me since I’m a bartender on my late nights she such a joy for me and Harlem he will see you in a few days

Jessica came right away when I realized I had a very busy day of work. She took my boys out for an hour, which takes a lot of patience. One is always a nervous wreck and pulls on the leash/ is reactive, while the other is a slow walker and smeller with leg braces- a mix that is usually enough to drive anyone crazy. She did amazing tiring them out for me and I’d hire her again! They just got back, and they are both already asleep!
