About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. I love sending photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind and see how your pet is doing.

About: I grew up taking every opportunity I could to care for and spend time with my neighbors' dogs and had a family dog for 6 years. I have experience with administering oral and topical medications, as well as with treating minor wounds and infections. I also volunteer regularly at the Humane Society which has given me extra experience with dogs with trauma or disabilities, and senior or unsocialized dogs. I'm currently only working in-person during the evenings Monday-Thursday. Other than that I'm mostly working from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I unfortunately don't have a yard or lots of room in my apartment but I live only a short walk from a dog park, which I'd be able to visit regularly. I mostly work from home so I'm able to give frequent walks and snuggles!

About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.

About: I grew up on a full swing farm outside of Port Huron, MI. We had border collies and Great Pyrenees and I spent many hours exploring and adventuring with them (teaching them to open doors and coral the cows and sheep!) I’m currently working as a freelance artist (pet portraits!) and yoga instructor, so my schedule is very flexible based on the needs of your pet. Whether at my home or yours I am an avid runner/walker and will take your pup for strolls around town. If they enjoy the dog park I’m also happy to incorporate some social hours in to the sitting!

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!

About: Iv grown up closely with animals and always had them around ever since I was little. My family and friends have always been able to rely on me to take care of their animal’s I’m currently taking two classes at Wayne State and my classes are online so I will have a lot of time to play and take them for walks. About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.
