About: Hi! I’ve fostered both dogs and cats throughout all four years of college, including caring for sick pets and administering medications when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—so much so that my family genuinely thought I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I’m currently a medical student and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and truly love providing a safe, calm, and affectionate environment for them. My partner Matthew is occasionally around and helps lend an extra hand, but I am always the primary caregiver responsible for your pet’s care. I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent care, walks, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening routines, and I keep my schedule light when I’m caring for a pet to make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a cozy, clean apartment in a very walkable area near the DIA. My building is extremely pet-friendly and even offers dog treats in the lobby. I provide a calm, safe environment and give each pet plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow owners’ routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, so your pet feels comfortable and at home.

About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

About: I grew up with all types of pets, and pet sat for friends and family throughout undergrad. I've cared predominantly for dogs, ranging from a young miniture dachshund to an elderly lab mix. I am more than happy to take on new experiences and can swiftly adapt to meet your pets needs. In addition to caring for pets, I have an ever growing (and thriving) plant collection in my own home and have frequently taken on plant sitting as well. My weekly routine is very flexible. I am a full-time law student, and currently wrapping up the semester! Outside of scheduled class times, my day is open, providing me the opporunity to move around as I wish. As warmer weather approaches, I like to get outside as much as possible and would be more than happy to have a furry walking buddy to accompany me! I currently do not have a pet of my own, as I live in a studio apartment while I attend law school. Because of this, I also do not pet sit in my own home. In my experience, pet sitting in the home of the pet is best. A dog that I frequently pet sat for in the past was elderly and had issues with separation. Remaining in her home eased her anxieties and made for a more pleasant and enjoyable pet sitting experience all around. There is also less of a chance that the pet will be lacking any essential items for their care and/or enjoyment when they are in their own home. Caring for a pet in their home allows me to learn their routines and ensure they are comfortable and have everything they need.

About: I have had cats all my life and I foster animals. I had dog sat for friends when I was in high school. I grew up with many dogs around me and definitely know how to give them love! I work weekdays till three but have time in the mornings! I also work in an ice cream shop that’s schedule comes out weekly. I never work Monday nights, Sunday morning, and All day Saturday I don’t have a dog. I do have 2 cats I keep inside always. I would love any animal that I was looking after and know how tragic it would be if I lost mine so I would look out so hard for your animal!
