About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

Jessica got him comfortable right away so he did not miss a dose. She followed instructions for their care very well and was very communicative with us. “Nicole cared for our 2, high maintenance Great Danes for a week in our home. She was fabulous. Our younger Dane has separation anxiety when we leave. Available for daily walks, drop in visits and boarding. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to care for your pet and give them the attention they need throughout the day. I am very respectful of your space and your dog and their’s. Making sure only do what I am advised to and anything outside of that I’d check with the owner prior.

“Heather is an angel in every sense of the word. She is the type of person that restores confidence that there is still kindness and good nature in our world. I received some of the cutest photos of my 11 year old pit bull in complete peace while she was caring for him in our home. She went well above and beyond to care for him, getting extra treats from the store when we ran out and just really being there with him the way I would have if I had been home. I had the most stress free time away with my family because I knew Floyd was in good hands from the moment we did the meet and greet. The house was sincerely spotless when I came home too. I cannot cannot recommend Heather enough!!”

“Breanna did such an amazing job with my 3 large dogs. Our dogs aren’t the easiest and only like to stay in an environment they know, so she watched them at our house, which we greatly appreciated. Breanna kept us updated through out the whole stay with constant pics and videos. Our one dog had an upset stomach while she was there due to her food and Breanna took care of her and also cleaned up after her. Breanna even took our dogs on walks together which I was very impressed by bc walking just one can be a lot. Grateful and pleased is an understatement. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our fur babies were in the best hands. Bonus she even cleaned our house which wasn’t expected. We are having Breanna watch our dogs for another trip we have planned later this month and for any other dog sitting needs. She is the best and can’t recommend enough!”

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care. Safety, trust and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in a familiar environment, keeping their routines consistent and minimizing stress. I follow all feeding, walking and care instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm space, and pay attention to details to ensure your pets safety and well-being. My goal is to make both you and you pet confident and relaxed while you're away.
