She is very good at giving Ellie all of her different medications and taking her out for several walks during the day, she pays attention to exactly how Ellie is feeling and adjusts her care accordingly. She has great advice on healthy snacks for Ellie and non toxic skin care. She truly cares for our dog and we are grateful to know she is in good hands while we are away! About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

I received some of the cutest photos of my 11 year old pit bull in complete peace while she was caring for him in our home. I am allergic to cats, so I am only available for dog bookings. Local to the Metro Detroit area looking to support dogs and their families 🫶 I’m am putting in my 2 weeks at my full time job on Monday and am looking for part time work doing what I love: caring for dogs. My schedule will be super flexible after 2/20/26 :) I am sadly living in a small apartment currently, but I’d be happy to care for dogs in a client’s home. I’m super type A and communicative. I would want to follow family instructions as closely as possible and provide a loving calm environment.
