Pawsitive Vibes 4 FurEver Friends
Hi, my name is Brandon and I am a first year Masters student studying Biomedical Engineering. Animals have been a part of my life since my earliest memories. I've raised birds, turtles, snakes, iguanas, hamsters, cats and of course dogs. Whether your pup needs hours of fetch and park adventures or gentle walks and medication management, I adapt to their unique needs, diets, and energy level. I work from home and between myself and my girlfriend, it is rare for me to leave my pet alone for more than 1 hr. I have easy access to numerous parks within walking distance including Belle Isle. Your pet will not be starved for attention. My goal is to make your dog’s time with me feel like a happy stay-cation. Expect daily walks, individualized attention, plenty of rest when needed, and regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands With years of experience across all breeds and temperaments, I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new. I'm here to make that experience stress-free for both you and your dog, providing the reliable, communicative, and loving care they deserve. I welcome questions, meet-and-greets, and will always aim to make you and your pet feel comfortable and confident.

Ratings and reviews
Overall my dog was returned alive. Sitter is polite. In the week that he stayed, there was very little communication provided. I had to follow up consistently to get an update. Sitter was not clear if my dog traveled to another home or crated while sitter was away. Owner reminded sitter of the pick up date a day prior. Owner sent a message an hour before to inform sitter of pick up and no response was provided. Unable to get a hold of sitter for a long time when attempting to pick my dog up. I had to call rover support so they can try to get a hold of him. Sitter was not home during pick up time. I Did not like the experience.

Super friendly, great with animals and communicative. My dog loved her stay with Brandon and Sixx.

Schedule
Working from home affords me the time and flexibility to give my high maintenance corgi the attention she deserves. She’s rarely alone for more than one hour at a time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
The first and most important step in caring for a new dog is to establish trust. As an experienced caregiver, I've learned that patience and compassion form the foundation of developing that all-important bond. Sixx is a great help in this endeavor as she is a very friendly dog and loves making new playmates. My place is fitted with webcams so you can check in on your pet and let them hear your voice. If your dog is crate-trained and finds it easier to adapt to a new environment through this method, I have one that can accommodate most sizes.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs both mentally and physically. As the saying goes, a tired dog is a good dog! First, as a way to comfortably introduce your pet to a new space, I play hide and seek with treats. Then we'll go on walks to introduce them to the new smells in the neighborhood and also allow them to introduce themselves using chemical messaging 🐶 There's multiple parks nearby to play if your dog likes to fetch and do any other outdoor activities. Throughout, I make sure your dog gets lots of attention, snuggles and back rubs.
