About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

“Charlotte was absolutely wonderful with my dogs, Mabel and Marty. She stayed at my home for 10 days while I was away, and I could immediately tell when I got back that they had been so well cared for. They were calm, happy, and clearly engaged while I was gone — which says everything. Charlotte is incredibly sweet and attentive, and she went above and beyond in every way. She kept my house completely spotless, left the kindest note, and even had calming music and a dog channel playing on the TV when I arrived home so the dogs were comfortable and relaxed. It was such a thoughtful touch after a long trip. I felt totally at ease knowing my dogs and my home were in such great hands. I received some of the cutest photos of my 11 year old pit bull in complete peace while she was caring for him in our home. About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. About: I have had cats all my life and I foster animals. I had dog sat for friends when I was in high school. I grew up with many dogs around me and definitely know how to give them love! I work weekdays till three but have time in the mornings! I also work in an ice cream shop that’s schedule comes out weekly. I never work Monday nights, Sunday morning, and All day Saturday I don’t have a dog. I do have 2 cats I keep inside always. I am allergic to cats, so I am only available for dog bookings. She wasn’t phased by our pup with glaucoma who requires 4 different eye drops multiple times a day or our other pup who is very high energy. She even sent photo updates which we loved! We really lucked out working with her last minute when our other plans fell through and hope to work with her again! Five stars!

Kate was THE BEST as a housesitter/animal caregiver. My job was complex: I have multiple inside cats and regularly feed feral cats on my front porch. In addition, I have a rescue dog who can have emotional issues as well as recovering from a recent injury. Kate handled everything as I would have. Her frequent updates and photos showed me my babies-relaxed, obviously content/loved. I came home to a spotless house and my animals happy to see me, but not frantic for attention. I’m so grateful to have found Kate & will use her services whenever I travel again.
Randi put our minds at ease while we were out of the state for a long weekend. We’ve never left our dogs with anyone besides family before so we were naturally a little anxious, but we have no regrets having Randi stay with them! We can home to very happy dogs.
