“Heather watched my dog and cat at my house and did everything I requested. Both my animals and home were well cared for. She also provided photos during the time I was away. About: Passionate animal lover with professional pet care experience since 2018. Over the years, I've worked in veterinary clinics, grooming salons as an assistant bather, and in dog daycare settings, giving me experience with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I'm comfortable with caring for multiple pets at once, administering medications, sticking to an organized walking/feeding schedule, and providing individualized attention to each pet's unique needs. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, long walks, or simply a calm and reassuring presence, I'm committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I make communication a priority. You'll receive regular updates and plenty of adorable photos that capture the best side of your pet's personality and daily adventures. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to providing dependable, compassionate care for your beloved companions I provide pet care full-time, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. Because this is my main focus, I am available for daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday bookings. I can accommodate a variety of schedules and am committed to ensuring pets receive consistent care, exercise, companionship, and supervision. I live in a pet friendly community in Midtown. The area includes designated pet relief stations with waste bags readily available, making it easy to keep the environment clean and comfortable. Im only a five-minute walk from a local dog park where dogs can enjoy additional activity and socialization, with owner permission. I prioritize safety at all times by keeping pets supervised, following their regular routines, and ensuring they have a clean, secure, and welcoming environment while in my care
“Breanna did such an amazing job with my 3 large dogs. Our dogs aren’t the easiest and only like to stay in an environment they know, so she watched them at our house, which we greatly appreciated. Breanna kept us updated through out the whole stay with constant pics and videos. Our one dog had an upset stomach while she was there due to her food and Breanna took care of her and also cleaned up after her. Breanna even took our dogs on walks together which I was very impressed by bc walking just one can be a lot. Grateful and pleased is an understatement. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing our fur babies were in the best hands. Bonus she even cleaned our house which wasn’t expected. We are having Breanna watch our dogs for another trip we have planned later this month and for any other dog sitting needs. She is the best and can’t recommend enough!”

About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.
“Bonnie is by far the best sitter we have ever had! She was so great with our boys and took extremely good care of them while we were away. She took the time to make sure they were loved and pampered, brushed them for us and even gave them adorable bandanas. She left our home cleaner then we left it and also took care of plants/brought packages inside. I would highly recommend her!! Thank you Bonnie!”

“Alexandra is a very friendly and punctual. My dog loved having her watch him. He felt very at ease with her as we could tell by the picture she sent of him on his back and paws in the air asking for a belly rub. Will definitely ask Alexandra to watch him again.”

“Cheyenne provided excellent care for our two cats, bonded with them, and communicated updates & pictures periodically. She is very personable and professional. We will definitely rebook when we need care again!”

“Heather is an angel in every sense of the word. She is the type of person that restores confidence that there is still kindness and good nature in our world. I received some of the cutest photos of my 11 year old pit bull in complete peace while she was caring for him in our home. She went well above and beyond to care for him, getting extra treats from the store when we ran out and just really being there with him the way I would have if I had been home. I had the most stress free time away with my family because I knew Floyd was in good hands from the moment we did the meet and greet. The house was sincerely spotless when I came home too. I cannot cannot recommend Heather enough!!”
“Casie is so amazing to our sweet Willow. She goes above and beyond to make sure she’s taken care of with all of her special needs. We never feel worried about leaving her because we know she is in good hands. High recommend Casie!”

“Lindsey took such good care of our fur babies and feathered ladies. I have 2 cats, 2 German Shepherds, and 13 chickens and she gave them lots of love and attention while we were gone. We got lots of photos and check ins which put my family at ease! Will definitely be reaching out to Lindsey in the future when we want to go on vacation. 10/10! 💕”

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care. Safety, trust and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in a familiar environment, keeping their routines consistent and minimizing stress. I follow all feeding, walking and care instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm space, and pay attention to details to ensure your pets safety and well-being. My goal is to make both you and you pet confident and relaxed while you're away.
Midtown pet parents share their Rover experiences
When I say Heather is phenomenal— I mean it. I can go anywhere in the world knowing my boy is cared for and that he gets to do all the things he loves. If you’re looking for someone to love your kiddo like he’s their own, Heather’s got you. Every time she’s watched my baby she has not missed a single beet. I also get the cutest photos ever from her 🫶 and she leaves my house better than she found it every single time. Beyond grateful for you, Heather!!
Angelica was wonderful and we’d happily work with her again and recommend to others! She was communicative, came a day before our trip to meet the dogs and learn their routine. She wasn’t phased by our pup with glaucoma who requires 4 different eye drops multiple times a day or our other pup who is very high energy. She even sent photo updates which we loved! We really lucked out working with her last minute when our other plans fell through and hope to work with her again! Five stars!

Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats. I was worried about my male cat taking his medication from someone else because he is so skittish of new people. Jessica got him comfortable right away so he did not miss a dose. She followed instructions for their care very well and was very communicative with us. She also sent lots of picture updates, which we appreciated so much! We would 100% hire her again.

Eric took excellent care of Koda while we were away on vacation for seven days. He was very communicative, respectful and followed Koda’s care instructions very carefully. He sent regular updates and confirmed time of arrival and departure which also made me feel at ease while we were in the midst of traveling. He also took good care of our house, leaving it super clean, if not cleaner than how we left it. When we arrived back home, Koda seemed very comfortable and content. I would absolutely book with him again and recommend him to anyone else looking for a trustworthy sitter. Plus Koda was happy to make a new friend :) thanks again, Eric!
Randi put our minds at ease while we were out of the state for a long weekend. We’ve never left our dogs with anyone besides family before so we were naturally a little anxious, but we have no regrets having Randi stay with them! We can home to very happy dogs.
