About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs for my entire life. From elderly beagles to pitbulls with no concept of their own size, I love them all! I'm experienced with special needs pets, having personally taken care of pets who are blind and deaf; who have FIV, FeLV and CKD; and who are missing teeth and tail. I am familiar with giving meds orally (both pill and syringe form), taking care of sick pets, and monitoring symptoms. You know what your pet needs, and I always make sure quality care is given in your absence! Please note I will likely use my own handless leash for safety purposes. I am comfortable working with reactive dogs and dogs with prey drives. However, it is crucial that you inform me of any behavior issues beforehand. Owners who are not upfront with behavior issues risk being dropped as clients. If booking times are flexible, please let me know. This helps me book you faster and allows us to start conversations about your pet's needs earlier. Please only book with me when you know what days and times I am needed. Open requests block times in my calendar, so booking in a timely manner is very important. If you would prefer to boom after the meet & greet, that is absolutely okay! Please just let me know upon scheduling the meet and greet. I am currently available mornings, and nights M-F and all day weekends. I typically visit 7-7:45am on weekday mornings and 4-7pm weekday nights. I make visits all day on weekends. I am happy to accommodate specific medication schedules upon request. Starting June 15th, I will be available 7am-9pm all seven days of the week. Starting June 15th, I will be opening slots for clients who wish for their dogs to join me on hikes or long walks (3+ hours) at dog-friendly hiking spots in Michigan. Owners will be charged the housesitting rate, and will be expected to prepare treats, meals, and water for their dogs. If you are interested in reserving a spot or speaking about specifics, please book an overnight stay so we can chat. I aim to respect your home and leave it cleaner than I found it! I'm happy to clean pet bowls, vacuum pet beds, etc. If possible, please provide the name of your home internet and password. This saves time when I am sending you cards, questions, or other updates! For housesitting clients, I aim to send two updates minimum during the morning and afternoon/early evening. If you would prefer to have more or less updates, please let me know!

About: I have been the trusted family and friend dog sitter for over 15 years, consistently being the first person people turn to whenever they go out of town. I grew up in a home surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always felt natural to me and has become a true part of who I am. I recently lost my Shih Tzu due to old age, which also gave me meaningful experience caring for a senior dog and understanding the patience, attentiveness, and gentle care older pets require. I care for pets by focusing on maintaining their normal routine, comfort, and safety while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they are my own, making sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and consistent care throughout the day. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, walks, and any special instructions such as medications or behavioral needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet owners can feel confident and connected while they are apart from their pets. The services I offer include dog walking, drop-in visits, boarding, and house sitting. During walks, I ensure pets get safe, enjoyable exercise suited to their energy level. For drop-ins, I provide feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. For boarding and house sitting, I create a calm, caring environment where pets feel secure and receive ongoing attention, routine care, and supervision. My goal is to make sure each pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for from start to finish.
