Dog Walker / Pet Sitter
I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was old enough for my parents and neighbors to trust me! Grew up with multiple of my both in the house and naturally my first job was dog walking and house sitting around the neighborhood. Have experience working with older pets, puppies / kittens, and large breeds. Currently, live in the Wesley Heights neighborhood with my Australian Shepherd Mel. For Dog Walking: I follow your lead on your dog's tendencies / preferences. I adhere to your preferred routes and instructions regarding leash etiquette, avoiding off-leash situations unless explicitly discussed and approved. If your dog enjoys canine company, I'm happy to bring my Aussie Mel along, who loves walking with friends! If your dog likes playing ball / frisbee, happy to discuss how we can accommodate that as well. For In-Home Pet Check-ins: I pay close attention to your pet's behavior and appetite, reporting any concerns to you immediately. I ensure fresh water is always available and clean up any messes promptly. I prioritize respecting your space, leaving it just as I found it.

While our time working with Christian was shorter than expected - the times he was able to assist my Belle were wonderful. He’s communicative and thorough - but it was his genuine care for my senior dog that really stood out to me. My dog usually had a male aversion when she first met new people - but she took to Christian quickly and easily. It put me at ease knowing he was giving her the attention she needed during the day when I wasn’t there. We were lucky to cross paths with him.
Christian took good care of our cat, he progressively was able to gain his trust even if our cat is not an easy boy. Thanks for your patience !
Christian is fantastic with animals and in particular dogs and cats. He grew up with dogs, cats and other critters. He understands what it takes to be responsible for and be its caregiver. You will not find a more reliable person to tend to and exercise your pets (especially your dogs!)
Christian has been absolutely wonderful with our 9-year-old Vizsla, Lily. She's a sweet, energetic dog who still loves her daily walks, and Christian has been the perfect match for her. He’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves dogs — Lily gets so excited every time she sees him! We really appreciate how attentive he is to her needs, especially considering her age. He gives her the right balance of exercise and care, and always makes sure she’s comfortable and happy. We’ve noticed Lily seems calmer and more content on the days she walks with Christian. Highly recommend Christian to anyone looking for a responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely caring dog walker. Lily gives him two paws up!
Christian is excellent with dogs and cats. He has been a dog & cat lover his whole life - he grew up with dogs, cats and many other critters. He likes to walk and hike with his own Aussie Mel and can easily accommodate any walking or hiking pace for any other dog (young, old, handicapped). He understands dog behavior and can easily adapt to any dog's personality. Christian is also very reliable - something I very much appreciate with dog walkers! Your pet will be in very food hands with Christian.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time, so my schedule is flexible to accommodate your ideal walking and / or care schedule. My Australian Shepard Mel and I walk around Corktown daily and am always up for spending more time outside!
