Dogs love me! The feeling is mutual
I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's.

Jess was amazing. Had experience with all kinds of dogs, and especially my dog being disabled, I felt comfortable leaving him with Jess. Actually rebooking again right now for tomorrow :)

I am so grateful that Jess was able to accommodate my last minute request! She was very patient with my frazzled brain as I scrambled to find day care, and Rhythm came back to me happy and healthy at the end of the day. It’s kind of scary visiting from out of town and needing care, and sitters like Jess are a balm to the worried soul in that regard. I’d definitely request her services again! Heck, if I need care this week I will definitely reach back out. Thanks Jess!

I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet.

I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

No day is the same, so I'm able to cater to your dog's needs. There are plenty of places for us to walk, the backyard to play in, and I have plenty of toys and puzzles to entertain.
