About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! I am super active and would love to spend time outside walking with your pet if you' like and the weather allows! If not we can spend time in-doors playing.

I’m attentive, reliable, and very communicative, and I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and potty breaks as instructed, administer medication when needed, and crate pets if requested. I aim to keep each pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I have open availability and keep my calendar updated regularly. For longer or extended care needs, I appreciate 12–24 hours’ notice so I can plan accordingly. On Mondays and Wednesdays, my evenings are limited, but I’m available mornings and afternoons on those days. I’m otherwise flexible and happy to coordinate to make sure your pet’s needs are fully covered. I will make sure they are fed in a timely manner and they take their medications if needed. About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Midtown Detroit. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. My partner and I currently have 2 cats. I have previously adopted and fostered dogs and have volunteer experience walking dogs in the shelter setting. I have years of experience caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, and I am coming up on a year of experience using rover. About: My name is Kate and my love for animals is what prompted me to enter the world of pet care. I grew up in a home with dogs and guniea pigs and learned early on how to be responsible in caring for a pet. The Humane Society was close to my childhood home, I would walk there weekly to go in and visit all the different animals and dreamed of owning a bunch one day myself. Later on in my twenties I learned what it was like to have a cat and now am a self proclaimed, obsessed with all the things cat. Currently I have two cats, a spunky Bengal named Benny and a sophisticated tuxedo baby named Olive. My hobbies include weightlifting, walking, yoga, ceramics, listening to podcasts, reading, baking and traveling. I currently work full time Mon-Thurs, 4 days a week which allows me to have, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoons available for drop-in visits or walking your pet. I currently am not able to board any other animals in my home as I have two cats that prefer to be the only pets.

About: I have grown up with animals and I volunteer at an animal care center. I have some experience giving animals medication if they need it as well :) I do work 30 hours a week, however I am still pretty flexible and open since my work schedule is not the same every week I’ll make sure their needs are met and they are loved! If you have a set schedule for when they are fed or go on walks, I’ll make sure to go by that :)

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

In your home, I treat the space with care and stay mindful of doors, gates, and any potential risks. (I have my own "Harry Husky Houdini", so I understand an escape artists.) If something seems off, I'll check in right away. At my home, pets stay in a safe, pet-friendly space with no toxic plants or hazards. We have a doggy door for easy access outside, but all outdoor time is supervised. I never do off-leash time unless we're in a fully fenced/secure area and you've approved it. I tend to communicate often, so you'll always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to feel just as at ease, because as a fellow pet parent, I know how hard it can be to be apart.

About: I am a former teacher and I love dogs as much as I love kids. Dogs are creatures who need attention, affection and lots of kisses! I live in the heart of Downtown Detroit and is walking distance from Comerica Park, Ford Field, Campus Martius Park, Fox Theater, The Filmore & Little Caesars Arena. I live in the heart of downtown Detroit and I enjoy walking my dog several times a day. We go to the doggie parks that are in close proximity to the apartment, and we have a dog park at my apartment complex that’s great for meet and greets with other dogs. I would care for pets in someone else’s home by respecting the area in which the dog is most comfortable meaning changing pee, pee pads, making sure their food and water bowls are full. And I will make sure that their dog is treated as if the owner were at home with lots of belly rubs. I care for my dog in my home the same way I make sure it’s a clean environment a safe environment, where my dog feels comfortable.

About: I think life is so much better with a dog. Without my own dog, I'm interested in helping you out with yours! I'm reliable and active. Ready to take care of your pup and have some fun I am a teacher and work full time. I am usually kind of a home body though, so outside of work I would be available to hang with your dog! Looking to help dog sitting or walking from your own home which will help your dog feel more at ease while you're away. I am able to board as well.

About: I'm loving to all dogs, big and small. Others' dogs tend to gravitate towards me, which I love. I have owned two dogs, which I crate trained and potty trained. I enjoy going for walks and letting them take the lead if they know where they want to go. I also relish having them sleep with me if they want, and talking to them as though they are humans. I also have experience with older dogs who need extra loving care in their later years. Dogs are great friends! I work full-time, but am free on the weekends and nights. I have a different work schedule than typical 9-5, so can be present during the early-late morning and early evening. I live in a small apartment steps away from Wayne State and there are plenty of places to walk and play! If need be, I lay out wee-wee pads and go outside as often as I can. There is a possibility of taking the dogs to work, too. A very low key office environment. Water is always available in walks and food is replenished as needed.
