About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.

About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). About: I love all animals! I have about 3 years working at a fear free animal hospital where we only used low stress handling techniques. My love for animals has grown from having my own. About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)

About: I grew up on a full swing farm outside of Port Huron, MI. We had border collies and Great Pyrenees and I spent many hours exploring and adventuring with them (teaching them to open doors and coral the cows and sheep!) I’m currently working as a freelance artist (pet portraits!) and yoga instructor, so my schedule is very flexible based on the needs of your pet. Whether at my home or yours I am an avid runner/walker and will take your pup for strolls around town. If they enjoy the dog park I’m also happy to incorporate some social hours in to the sitting!

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: From a young age I have enjoyed taking care of pets and watching them grow. My own dog I raised from a puppy as a kid and my cat I care for now have taught me how close to the heart pets are kept. Many friends have trusted me with their cats and dogs to ensure they receive proper guardianship while they are away from home. On the days that I don’t work I have open availability for bookings as well From my experience in taking care of pets, I always make sure the door to your home is kept closed and locked. When we go outside for walks I always double check the security of the leash and collar. If there are specific care instructions I make sure to review them carefully, and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am unsure about anything

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!

About: I have had dogs all my life and have been sole caregiver for my dog Jay Bear for five years! I have worked with therapy dogs and taken care over three different dogs as their primary sitter.
