About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!

About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. Feel free to message me and work out plan that best fits you and your pets’ needs. I’m more than happy to be accommodating to your special requests - don’t be afraid to ask! I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.

About: I grew up taking every opportunity I could to care for and spend time with my neighbors' dogs and had a family dog for 6 years. I have experience with administering oral and topical medications, as well as with treating minor wounds and infections. I also volunteer regularly at the Humane Society which has given me extra experience with dogs with trauma or disabilities, and senior or unsocialized dogs. I'm currently only working in-person during the evenings Monday-Thursday. Other than that I'm mostly working from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I unfortunately don't have a yard or lots of room in my apartment but I live only a short walk from a dog park, which I'd be able to visit regularly. I mostly work from home so I'm able to give frequent walks and snuggles!

Most recently, I had the joy of caring for a friend’s puppy full-time for six months, and that experience only deepened my love for the job. About: I have been watching dogs and cats since I was 15. I am use to all types of dogs and cats, from crazy hyper to very chill and relaxed! I am currently a full time student at Wayne State University! I am free anytime between classes or after i’m done with my classes for the day! I like to have a rough plan for the day so if your pet needs a schedule I love working with those and very use to them!

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was a child! I currently have a 14 year old dog at my parents house in Troy so I love a senior dog :) I also have puppy watched for many friends and love to be with them for a walk and check in! I’m currently a Master’s Student (on summer break) who works evenings in the week and days on the weekends bartending at Batch! I am starting an internship in mid-May, but will be mostly virtual Making your pet happy while you’re away is my number one priority! Whether it’s an oldie who just needs some pets and food while we chill in the sun, or a younger pet that needs some play time and some walks, my goal is to leave them feeling happy. About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I love all animals! I have about 3 years working at a fear free animal hospital where we only used low stress handling techniques. My love for animals has grown from having my own. I have had dogs, cats, lizards, fish, and other small animals. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. I am looking to expand my list of regulars! I am currently working part time and get to design my own schedule! I can give your fur babies all the attention they need and give them all the time needed! About: I work in the medical field as a PA and also have a love for animals. I have my own dog and have grown up with dogs so I am very capable of caring for them! Caring for my own pet, Duke, and others fits wonderfully into my daily schedule. I do work during the days but often find myself coming home early. We do almost daily walks in the mornings or evenings and have lots of play time inside. Weekends are filled with outside activities such as dog parks, walks, or enjoying the day inside with friends. I live in an apartment downtown Detroit close to many dog parks as well as easy access to the riverwalk and other trails. My dog roams freely in our apartment/sleeps with us as any guest pets are welcome to do as well, unless specified otherwise by owners:)
