About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. I don’t have a job at the moment and have a lot of time on my hands so I would love to take care of your precious babies I actually will not be able to take care of your pets at my house as I do have some pets that don’t get along with other animals so I wouldn’t want to take the risk but I would love to come to your house and take care of your pets and walk them and look after them exactly how you want me to

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. Feel free to message me and work out plan that best fits you and your pets’ needs. I’m more than happy to be accommodating to your special requests - don’t be afraid to ask! I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.

About: Lifelong animal lover! I have experience with hamsters, guinea pigs, cats and dogs. Even snails! I’ve taken care of my Rottweiler and Pit-bull for years. I’m available every weekday at any time, besides 3pm! right before or right after that I’m perfectly free to pet-sit for you!! If I pet sit before 3 I won’t need to leave by 3, I just can’t arrive at 3pm. In my home my Pit-bull is very well cared for. I let him outside, feed him and give him water when needed, and I give him baths every week!

About: I have a family dog of 12 years that I helped my parents train. I have also fostered multiple dogs including senior dogs who were on medication and needed more attention. I am currently a 2nd year Physican Assistant student at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am entering my clinical year, meaning I will be working different shifts each month for an entire year. Due to my very diverse schedule, I would be able to pick up shifts as needed and can be flexible from month to month. I live in an apartment complex in Midtown Detroit. The complex has a large gated fence around it that many dogs go out to. My apartment is about 500 square feet and is suitable for small to medium sized dogs!

About: I worked at an animal shelter for about a year and a half, where I learned a lot about caring for animals. I became familiar with dogs’ and cats’ diets, learned how to understand their body language, and gained experience administering medications when needed. I’ve also owned dogs for most of my life and have always believed them to be incredibly loyal and loving companions. I am currently enrolled in a veterinary assistant program. Most of my classes are online, with the exception of Fridays, when I attend classes on campus. I am generally available Monday through Thursday for most of the day, as long as I am given advance notice. I am also available on weekends when needed, with advance notice. My pets at home are very spoiled, so I plan to treat your pets the same way! I always want to make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, care, and love while they’re with me. I also enjoy going on trail walks or taking long walks in general, so I’d be happy to have some furry company along the way.

I love to care for animals whether it’d be walking your pet or having them overnight, I love it all. I am very flexible. I provide in home daytime, evening and overnight care including: dog walks; fed meals; give treats; play and cuddle time and description of services provided after each visit. I also can administer oral and topical medications if needed. I can provide in house sitting duties including collecting mail, newspaper and packages, watering plants or even putting recycling bins out on designated days. I work remotely, so I'm available to provide round the clock care for your fur babies, I'm available 7 days a week including Holidays too I have a privacy fence, with beautiful landscaping.
