About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats as well as smaller pets like hamsters and fish, so caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I also have experience with small and large dogs; from growing up with a Chihuahua to caring for an American Bulldog, so I understand how different sizes and temperaments require different approaches. I am attentive, patient, and always focused on making pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. I currently work Tuesday-Saturday in the afternoons (typically from 3:30pm-8pm with the occasional later nights). I am available in the mornings for check-ins, quality time, play time, feedings, and walks and I'm happy to help pets start their day calmly and on a schedule. I communicate clearly if my evening availability changes and always prioritize routines and consistency for the pets in my care. Safety, trust and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in a familiar environment, keeping their routines consistent and minimizing stress. I follow all feeding, walking and care instructions closely, maintain a clean and calm space, and pay attention to details to ensure your pets safety and well-being. My goal is to make both you and you pet confident and relaxed while you're away.

About: Hi there! My name is Grace. I was a dog owner for a long time, and now I'm hoping to meet some new dogs and help you out in the process. I love to jog, and would be happy to take your dog for a run. I love to play fetch or whatever your dog's favorite game is. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm trained as a paramedic, so I'm responsible and cool-headed during emergencies. I love all dogs, but rescues and those scrappy-looking mutts hold a special place in my heart. About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. For the past 5 years I took care of my senior dog until he passed at 17. I have experience with senior and sick pets. Provide medication and a lots of attention. Very patient and loving. I work remotely. I can stay with your pet all day and provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. I can take breaks during the day for walks, and they can sleep in my bed at night. I have a large fenced back yard. No children or other pets in my house. I live alone and work from home. I will provide plenty of attention and play time.

About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend living with us, be it a hamster, dog, rabbit or bird. But I did not have a pet of my own until I bought my home in Detroit in 2014, settling down after a life of frequent moving/traveling. Now my little family consists of 2 little ones, a sweet bunny, my patient partner and myself. We have lived with cats and dogs in the past, but not currently. I’m an ethical vegan and an animal rights advocate. In the past I’ve worked at the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY, where I cared for and supervised the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs who lived there and spoke to potential adopters who were interested in taking them home. My history of volunteer work in Detroit includes membership in Pretties for Pitties, a pit bull advocacy organization that helps keep Pitts and other bully breeds in their loving homes, and fights BSL in Michigan. I’m an active member of Attorneys for Animals, an organization that connects animal advocates with animal law. Before the birth of my daughter I worked for many years at the Detroit Public Library, and I’m currently an Airbnb host as well. In my life I’ve worn many hats, but my favorite and most fulfilling role has been that of a mom and caretaker of animals. We cannot wait to meet your furbabies and welcome them into our home!

My experience working in the pet industry has also taught me how to provide even better care for pets I have a job with a flexible schedule, so I can be flexible with my pet care schedule. About: I have had a passion for pet care since the age of eleven when I created a pet walking and boarding business within my neighborhood. This business gave me access to assist more pet care opportunities and cultivated a deep compassion for the well-being of the animals in my care. Since then, I have pet sat and walked over 50 dogs and 10 cats, many who are returning clients. I have had the privilege to care for a wide range of small and large breeds of dogs, puppies, kittens, and senior pets. As an anxious pet parent, I enjoy sending updates, pictures, and videos to mitigate any worries you may have while away from your pet. I have a hybrid work schedule and will work with your schedule to prioritize your pet and their unique needs. I greatly appreciate notice with changes to walks/visits but work well with adjustments. I have limited availability for boarding at my home currently. For animals that do come to my house, I spend time beforehand pet proofing to ensure a safe stay. In your home, I do ask instructions are left on how to maintain your space to your preference so there are no disturbances when you return. I can work with whatever parameters you have, especially in regards to entering/exiting the home and shared spaces. Walking safety is important to me and I won't leave the house without a collar and appropriate leash, poop bags, and water if necessary. When it comes to letting pets out in fenced yards, I keep an eye on them to ensure they don't eat anything they shouldn't and that their environment remains safe. Unless specified, your pets will not interact with other animals to keep reactivity levels low and to lessen any stress.

About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!

About: I’ve lived in Atlanta for about 20 years and one of my favorite things about this city is the animal life; both wild and domesticated. I have recently relocates to Detroit! My friend call me “The Dog Whisperer” because everywhere I go puppers can’t get enough of me! My summertime availability is 100% flexible. I’ve taken care of all types of dogs old and young, big and small. I’m no stranger to giving medication or dealing with rambunctious dogs who need a little extra time outside. I believe that all animals deserve love and care and that all owners deserve a break. These puppies are like our children and sometimes kids have to be sent to Autie’s House. Let me be your puppy aunt. The pleasure is all mine. I take classes online and bartend part time. My schedule is very flexible. I am home during the day to play and cuddle with the animals. I leave for work in between 2-4 and return between 8-10. If I am returning at 10 I will feed the dogs before I leave and give them a little treat/snack when I return. I care for the pets based upon your personal standards and their routine. I currently do not offer boarding because of my own skittish pet.
