“Jamie was exceptional! She was very prompt, informative and overall a great person. She did very well with Halo, using the same commands and letting her sniff all her normal spots on walks. Jamie was also great with Halo around other dogs and people as Halo can sometimes not mind others. Thank you again Jamie, you'll be my first call next time I need some help!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life and have often been called on to pet sit for friends and family. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. At 17 I did an internship at my local animals hospital. As a result, I’m confident working with most animals and know what to look out for in terms of health issues and can give medications. Although I eventually left the pre-vet track, my love for animals has never wavered. I’m a self-employed writer and artist so I get to set my own schedule! I’m generally available between 8:30am to 8pm. I love doing longer housesits! I’m confident with cats and dogs and I have a list of questions I like to ask to make sure I do things just as you like. If I have any questions while caring for your pet I’ll make sure to reach out.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

“tara is excellent - timely, reliable, and communicative. I had no worries leaving my dog with her for walks, and she's absolutely someone I would rely upon in the future. highly recommend!”

“She is amazing!”

About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!

About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.

“Katie is great.”

About: Hi there! My name is Grace. I was a dog owner for a long time, and now I'm hoping to meet some new dogs and help you out in the process. I love to jog, and would be happy to take your dog for a run. I love to play fetch or whatever your dog's favorite game is. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm trained as a paramedic, so I'm responsible and cool-headed during emergencies. I love all dogs, but rescues and those scrappy-looking mutts hold a special place in my heart. I have experience with larger breeds as well. There's no dog too big or small for me! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can devote as much time to your animals as you need! I am available on short notice. I love to stay active, so I love going for walks or playing with animals. I live right across from a park with tons of space to run and play.

About: I have owned pets ever since I can remember, from a little Puddle, to a Rottweiler, to a Maine Coon cat to a hermit crab. I also have experience handling and controlling aggressive behavior safely and properly. I love taking funny pics of them too lol I’m currently the owner of the sweetest kitten, so it is already a part of my daily routine to care for and love my furry friend. I am very gentle, loving, patient, cautious and kind. I can carefully but easily follow specific instructions for special medical procedures if that’s ever needed.

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for dogs in my social circle. I've cared for dogs across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages, and managed play groups of 3 or 4 at a time. I've also worked as a shelter volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and I currently live with a rambunctious 2-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. I have experience with shy, timid, and reactive dogs; I feel particularly fluent in reading their cues and responding as needed. I'm also comfortable with rowdy puppy energy, slow moving seniors, and various other quirks that every dog seems to have. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I mainly work evenings, so I am available for walks and drop-ins most days between 8am-4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days. My ultimate goal is to form the best possible relationships with my clients and their humans, and I can adjust my services to suit individual needs.

About: I have a special love for animals, especially dogs and cats. I've a caretaker at heart, whether it's kids, senior citizens, and pets. I am very dedicated and dependable. I am completely open to pet care. Six days a week is good for me. Between 7am-3pm. I am available to work during these summer months. I walk and sit my neighbors dogs.I would feed the pets and keep them safe. I clean up after them and make sure they are fed.

About: I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! I am comfortable doing most any task you may need! I currently work from home most days and I am able to be available when needed. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide diligent care for your pets! I have another dog who loves to keep other dogs company! He is extremely easy-going and is great at matching other dogs energy! I also have a crate that I can use to crate your animal if necessary!

About: I’ve lived in Atlanta for about 20 years and one of my favorite things about this city is the animal life; both wild and domesticated. I have recently relocates to Detroit! My friend call me “The Dog Whisperer” because everywhere I go puppers can’t get enough of me! My summertime availability is 100% flexible. I’ve taken care of all types of dogs old and young, big and small. I’m no stranger to giving medication or dealing with rambunctious dogs who need a little extra time outside. I believe that all animals deserve love and care and that all owners deserve a break. These puppies are like our children and sometimes kids have to be sent to Autie’s House. Let me be your puppy aunt. The pleasure is all mine. I take classes online and bartend part time. My schedule is very flexible. I am home during the day to play and cuddle with the animals. I leave for work in between 2-4 and return between 8-10. If I am returning at 10 I will feed the dogs before I leave and give them a little treat/snack when I return. I care for the pets based upon your personal standards and their routine. I currently do not offer boarding because of my own skittish pet.

About: Family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets for 20 years. My experience working in the pet industry has also taught me how to provide even better care for pets I have a job with a flexible schedule, so I can be flexible with my pet care schedule. I’m usually available on weekdays 10-7pm. Weekends vary. Every animals has their own set of needs and boundaries. I love to give every pet the space to let me know what works for them

Erik M.
“Erik is a very caring and responsible pet owner who I’ve seen take so much extra care for animals. Whether it be his own pet or one of his friends or even a stranger’s, Erik takes great care to make sure the animals around him are comfortable and taken care of. I’ve seen him researching best tactics for cat caregiving many times as he thoughtfully implements good practices into his routines with his best friend and kitty Bumi. Bumi was a starving street cat when they met and Erik and him slowly courted each other until a trusting bond was made and Bumi moved in. I hear many stories about training and caring for his past animals who he holds dear to his heart.”

“I’ve know Vale for a while. She took care of my Ruby. She fed, cared for, showered and trimmed Ruby. Very sweet and responsible person.”

Sylvie D.
“Sylvie has watched my dog Neko on several occasions and I couldn't ask for anyone better! She's made all kinds of visits like drop-ins for walks, water and fun when I'm working. She has stayed over night to keep him company and give him his medicine. She's also watched him for weeks when I'm out of town and when I return, my dog is happy and healthy and safe. My dog isn't the easiest guy to watch either, he has panic attacks and is a flight risk. Sylvie is able to sense the change in the dog's mood before it gets out of hand and can steer Neko towards peace and safety. 1000/10”

Christina S.
“Christina Smith is my favorite niece and she is the female dog whisper. She is very kind and patience. She loves animals and children. She was a cat owner for ten years. She is a Special Education Para-Professional (ASD). Her students love her and her co-workers and their parents too. She will take excellent care of your dogs. She is also wonderful daughter and caregiver to her mom, who is in a Nursing home. She makes sure she visit her five days a week bringing healthy food choices. She is a wonderful Mother and grandmother. She loves her husband and takes good care of him. Whatever she touches, she receives the love back that she gives out. She radiates and is very responsible, nuturing, kindness and thoughtfulness. She will take excellent care of your pets. Thanks for letting me share with you my niece's great attributes. I am so proud of her accomplishment. Be blessed 👌 🙌 😇 🙏 ☺️ 😊”

Kira L.
“Kira has watched my dog, Clementine, many times, and she always does a great job! She takes good care of her and spends tons of time playing with her and tiring her out too. Clementine can be quite anxious and sometimes reactive with strangers, so I am very particular with dog sitters, but she felt so comfortable with Kira right away!”

Kimberly I.
“I have known Kim for a very long time, and she is one of the most caring people you could have for a caregiver. She will always go out of her way and make sure that your pet has the utmost care that it can receive. She once took care of my dog Cooper, and he loved her so much that he would become upset when she left! I highly recommend her for this position as caretaker”

Grace M.
“Grace is one of the most caring, intuitive, and responsible people I know. She's able to connect with any pet in moments. Grace has cared for my dog and two cats on multiple occasions, and each time has been a massive success (like, all my pets are so excited when she comes around). She's the best!”
