About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! I am super active and would love to spend time outside walking with your pet if you' like and the weather allows! If not we can spend time in-doors playing.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. For the past 5 years I took care of my senior dog until he passed at 17. I have experience with senior and sick pets. Provide medication and a lots of attention. Very patient and loving. I work remotely. I can stay with your pet all day and provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. I can take breaks during the day for walks, and they can sleep in my bed at night. I have a large fenced back yard. No children or other pets in my house. I live alone and work from home. I will provide plenty of attention and play time.

About: I have been caring for family, friends and neighbors dogs and cats for 15 years. Walking, feeding, administering treats, administering medications, grooming, vet trips, playing, and all of the snuggles. About: Your home is my base. Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine (WFH yogi) mean tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. I usually send 2ish updates with photos per day, but if you'd like more or less, let me know. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. I WFH a few hours a week as a property manager, so I'm very available for pets who need more attention. Feel free to send a request even if Rover suggests I may be booked, because sometimes it's just for a doggie walk. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial meet and greet, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This usually means smoother transitions for pets and humans. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 20 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your estimate. You are very welcome to book additional drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Your home is my home base, I bring my groceries/book/yoga mat. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. I am responsible, a great communicator, and will always respond to your messages.

About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Corktown. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. I have 3 years of experience with many happy, repeating Rover clients. My clients and their pets mean a lot to me! My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re away, and treat your pets like they are my own. Please don’t hesitate to provide me with any and all detailed requests for your furry friends! My full-time job as a registered nurse means my schedule changes weekly. I have a lot of flexibility, and can usually accommodate irregular schedules. Feel free to message me and work out plan that best fits you and your pets’ needs. I’m more than happy to be accommodating to your special requests - don’t be afraid to ask! I’m patient and willing to take the extra time to work with slower senior pets as well as rambunctious young pets that may need a little more direction.

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.
