About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.

About: I grew up taking every opportunity I could to care for and spend time with my neighbors' dogs and had a family dog for 6 years. I have experience with administering oral and topical medications, as well as with treating minor wounds and infections. I also volunteer regularly at the Humane Society which has given me extra experience with dogs with trauma or disabilities, and senior or unsocialized dogs. I'm currently only working in-person during the evenings Monday-Thursday. Other than that I'm mostly working from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I unfortunately don't have a yard or lots of room in my apartment but I live only a short walk from a dog park, which I'd be able to visit regularly. I mostly work from home so I'm able to give frequent walks and snuggles!

About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! I will treat your babies like they are my own ❤️ I work 9am-6pm from home, but otherwise I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time for drop-in visits & (very important) playtime and snuggles. I offer complimentary “getting to know you” visits so that you and your furry friend(s) can meet me and go over your pet’s needs and preferences. I love sending photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind and see how your pet is doing.

About: I've been around dogs most of my life, while taking care of 3 of my own. I'm currently training my dog to build a stronger bond. I'm currently working full time and training my dog daily. I have availability on weekends and weekday evenings as needed. Let me know what you're looking for. I will work on building trust with your fur baby, allowing them time to adjust to a new person in their space. I need to know their likes, dislikes, and routine if they have one.

About: I have been taking care of pets almost my whole life. I have watched as little as a kitten to as big as a 120lb dog. I don’t currently have a job so I am almost always available. Some weekends I might be away but very rarely. I will almost always make time to watch your pets I have a fenced in backyard for dogs. I like to spend as much time as possible with my pets. My pets are very friendly.

About: Pet family member for 19 yrs, pet sitting for 10yrs. From pups to seniors & cats to sick pets. Comfort care and attention for senior pets. This is my main source of income so pet car is everyday, detailed, with patience and love. I plan walks every 3-4 hrs with parks and dog friendly spaces at the forefront. I pet care in home as well as in client spaces. Over night care as well, basic pet bathing. Medication given if/when given. Play and exercise also a given.

About: I have had all different kinds of pets throughout my life, this includes turtles, rabbits, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, and a chameleon! I love all animals and am committed to meeting their needs. I’m an assistant teacher so I’m off work for the summer and looking to fill my time with what I love most- animals! Since I am not currently working I have ample free time to help accommodate your schedule. My main goal is to make pets feel as relaxed and loved as possible. I take things slow with meeting new pets, especially those who are shy or stand offish. I try to read them, read their needs and above all else follow their what their caregivers have instructed me to do for them.

About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!

About: I am an all-around animal lover but I love dogs for their sweetness and playfulness. I’m a soccer fan, lover of music and love to spend time outside. I have experience with both small and medium size dogs. This includes walking, playing, bathing, feeding and dog-sitting. I even have some experience with puppies. I am a small person so I prefer not to walk large dogs. Good physical and mental health are important aspects to maintain in life. Adequate amount of exercise and play time are necessary in a dog's daily routine. I hope to meet and give your furry companion the care they need while you're away. After all, dogs are more than pets, they are part of the family and deserve to be treated as such. I am a full time artist and business owner. Being my own boss allows me to have a flexible schedule. It’s important for me to incorporate movement and fun into my daily life and there’s no better way than to spend time with animals by taking walks and playing. I like to have a clear understanding of an animal’s routine. Sticking to predictable routines are good for their nervous systems. For walking services, I like to go on calm, enriching walks. I’m down for detours and all the sniffing and sometimes I like to finish a walk with a short race back to the house. I ensure that they are hydrating and have everything they need before leaving and locking up. For house stays, I like to spend as much time with animals as they like. Most of my experience is with overnight stays. I am very clean and organized and make sure to do a nice reset for your return home.

About: I’m out on my feet every day, exploring both city streets and neighborhood paths, and bringing dogs along for the adventure is the best part of my routine. I joined Rover as a way to meet more people in my community :) Pet care fits naturally into the way I already move through the world. Every dog I walk gets a route and pace tailored to them, because each animal has very different needs, and both deserve a great walk. You can count on me to show up, pay attention, and treat your pets like the priority they are. I am currently working part time in Ferndale and Oak Park, available on weekends as well for pet care and dog walking! I love meeting my neighbors. When I’m in your home, I treat it, and your pet, with the same care I’d want for my own. Your dog’s routine is there for a reason, and I stick to it. Feeding schedules, rest time, the way they like their walk to end, I pay attention to the details you share and follow through on them. Consistency is what keeps pets calm when their person isn’t home, and I take that seriously. I’ll keep you in the loop with photos and updates so you’re never left wondering how things are going. No news isn’t always good news, I’d rather you feel connected and at ease while you’re away. My own space is calm and pet-free, so when I’m with your dog, my full attention is on them. No competing animals, no chaos, just a quiet, lowkey presence that lets anxious or sensitive dogs settle in comfortably. Your home stays tidy, your pet stays happy, and you stay informed. That’s the standard I hold myself to every visit.

About: From a young age I have enjoyed taking care of pets and watching them grow. My own dog I raised from a puppy as a kid and my cat I care for now have taught me how close to the heart pets are kept. Many friends have trusted me with their cats and dogs to ensure they receive proper guardianship while they are away from home. It is an enjoyable experience for us both I currently work from home and have plenty of flexibility for bookings. On the days that I don’t work I have open availability for bookings as well From my experience in taking care of pets, I always make sure the door to your home is kept closed and locked. When we go outside for walks I always double check the security of the leash and collar. If there are specific care instructions I make sure to review them carefully, and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am unsure about anything
