About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. About: Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine means tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I love multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 or 60 mins, or multiple hours. Pets that I know already can sometimes book care in my home. I only take one pet family at a time for my home daycare, quality care over quantity. I usually send you 2ish updates with photos per day. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial visit, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This usually means smoother transitions for pets and humans. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 15 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your Rover estimate. You are very welcome to book drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Heather was so great with my boys. One of my boys is very slow and takes his time with all of the smells. He’s older and has leg braces so going at his pace is very important. My other boy is so anxious and scared of everything, especially strangers. She took her time with both of them and didn’t rush or push them. It’s so important with my two rescues that they are treated kindly, exactly the way she treated them.
Jessica came right away when I realized I had a very busy day of work. She took my boys out for an hour, which takes a lot of patience. One is always a nervous wreck and pulls on the leash/ is reactive, while the other is a slow walker and smeller with leg braces- a mix that is usually enough to drive anyone crazy. She did amazing tiring them out for me and I’d hire her again! They just got back, and they are both already asleep!
