About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking. I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.

About: I've been around dogs most of my life, while taking care of 3 of my own. I'm currently training my dog to build a stronger bond. I'm currently working full time and training my dog daily. I have availability on weekends and weekday evenings as needed. Let me know what you're looking for. About: I have been taking care of pets almost my whole life. I have watched as little as a kitten to as big as a 120lb dog. I don’t currently have a job so I am almost always available. Some weekends I might be away but very rarely. I will almost always make time to watch your pets I have a fenced in backyard for dogs. I like to spend as much time as possible with my pets. My pets are very friendly.

About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life. Small, medium, and large sized dogs, young and elderly dogs, dogs with low energy levels and dogs with high energy levels. I used to pet sit for my neighbors as well, including one neighbor who had two mastiffs and a dalmatian, and another neighbor with a chronically ill dog prone to accidents. I loved them all! I love to go on walks during my free time, so I’d love to walk to visit your pet, or take them along with me. I work part time on a flexible schedule and can easily fit most visit schedules into my day. I take the time to earn an animal’s trust, and go at a speed they’re comfortable with. If your animal wants me to pet and lay with them and brush them and play with them or anything else, I’m there! If your pet is more lowkey or independent, I check in on them and make sure they have everything they need. I look to care for your specific pet, not just check in and call it a day.

About: I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! I am comfortable doing most any task you may need! I currently work from home most days and I am able to be available when needed. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide diligent care for your pets! I have one dog who loves to keep other dogs company! He is extremely easy-going and is great at matching other dogs energy! I also have a crate that I can use to crate your animal if necessary!

About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine means tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I love multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more. I normally schedule only one family at a time, to give your pets focused attention. I am patient when it comes to your pets' anxiety or special needs. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. Since I WFH, I can plan my day around tons of 1:1 time with your pets. I also offer daytime care in your home via Housesitting even if you don't need overnight, or you can book Drop Ins. I usually send you 2+ updates with photos per day. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial visit, it is standard to do cold swaps: I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This means smoother transitions for pets and humans. One of the most common questions I get from new inquiries: Yes you can book multiple Drop Ins or Walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other better. This works really well. I keep one slot open on a weekday morning for Rover Meet and Greet. If that time does not work, you can absolutely request a day and time for a Drop In that fits with your schedule. Nonsmoking and nonvaping, clean homes only. A comfortable guest bed (or your bed) with fresh clean sheets is very important to me. Start times before 8am, end times after 8pm, drives over 15 minutes are each $30 additional, not included with your Rover estimate. Your home is my home base. I "move in" and bring my groceries/book/yoga mat/work things. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet, for tons of attention. My commitments are important to me, and I genuinely care. I am responsible, and a great communicator. I will send photos and updates, and always respond.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals ever since I was a child as my family had a farm when I was growing up. I have also rescued most of the animals that I’ve had and wish to rescue way more in the future. I’m currently enrolled in Schoolcraft community college studying nursing. I don’t have a job at the moment and have a lot of time on my hands so I would love to take care of your precious babies I actually will not be able to take care of your pets at my house as I do have some pets that don’t get along with other animals so I wouldn’t want to take the risk but I would love to come to your house and take care of your pets and walk them and look after them exactly how you want me to

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I would walk my dogs daily, to explore and go to the bathroom. I would also groom them myself. I am also familiar with cats too. I currently work part-time flexible shift during the week. I am available for boarding after 9 a.m. and on the weekends. I also specialize with deaf dogs. I will be getting gates and crates if needed fur your fur babies. When outside your puppy will me monitored at all times. Safety is #1 for all pups.

About: Both my parents are veterinarians, so I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and even a turtle. I have tons of experience with animals, and would love to meet yours! I would love to come walk them, take care of them, and give your extended family some extra love! I work 9-5 but can work around that schedule & am free on weekends! I love to take my dog on long walks, and love to hangout with cats and play with them. In my home I take very good care of my pets and check on them often.

About: I have a family dog of 12 years that I helped my parents train. I have also fostered multiple dogs including senior dogs who were on medication and needed more attention. I am currently a 2nd year Physican Assistant student at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am entering my clinical year, meaning I will be working different shifts each month for an entire year. Due to my very diverse schedule, I would be able to pick up shifts as needed and can be flexible from month to month. I live in an apartment complex in Midtown Detroit. The complex has a large gated fence around it that many dogs go out to. My apartment is about 500 square feet and is suitable for small to medium sized dogs!
