If you are reading this go no further, Beverly provides unbelievable care. I would never consider an overnight kennel and once you try Beverly to babysit you wont either. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. About: I have a family dog of 12 years that I helped my parents train. I have also fostered multiple dogs including senior dogs who were on medication and needed more attention. I am currently a 2nd year Physican Assistant student at the University of Detroit Mercy. I am entering my clinical year, meaning I will be working different shifts each month for an entire year. Due to my very diverse schedule, I would be able to pick up shifts as needed and can be flexible from month to month. I live in an apartment complex in Midtown Detroit. The complex has a large gated fence around it that many dogs go out to. My apartment is about 500 square feet and is suitable for small to medium sized dogs!

About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've been a proud dog owner for over 5 years and have provided petsitting services for neighbors, friends and family for a few years. Thanks to my obsession with my own dog, I have a deep understanding of dog behavior, from potty training and obedience training to teaching basic commands and leash training. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.

Typical work schedule: Monday- Off Tuesday- 10am - 6pm Wednesday- 1pm - 7pm Thursday- 1pm - 7pm Friday- 10am -3pm or 10am -6pm Saturday- 10am - 3pm Sunday- Off Available 7 days/week for sitting (if comfortable with my work hours). Pet care services all day on Sunday and Monday as well as available time off during my normal work week. - Currently have 2 indoor cats; They are fully vaccinated and go on weekly walks outside (weather permitting). - In clients home, I'm available for housesitting, frequent visits, dog walking, and providing medical care.
About: Grew up with pets but can’t have my own right now. I’m looking to help others and get to have be around pets part time! I am self employed with flexible hours every day of the week. I go on daily walks so having a dog by my side would make them even better! I’m kind and gentle and pets gravitate towards me. About: I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! “Jess is wonderful. I have engaged her twice to board my American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”
