“I was nervous because this was the first time I'd left Picasso with someone he didn't know. Ekow was extremely kind and sent updates of a happy dog daily, which made me feel much better. We've found a new sitter and I will definitely be reaching out anytime we need a sitter. Five stars!!”

“Beverly is wonderful. My return flight was cancelled so I was stuck in Los Angeles and couldn’t pick up my dog as scheduled. I messaged Beverly and she contacted Rover to modify the booking. She was able to keep my dog until I was back home. Thanks again Beverly.”

“Jess is wonderful. I have engaged her twice to board my American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”

“Oliver had an amazing time with Whitley and her pup Ollie! They were so cute together, playing and having fun. I was nervous as this was the first time Oliver stayed with someone he didn’t know and Whitley made him feel comfortable and happy. Thank you!”

“So happy I booked with Kayla to sit my pup while I was on vacation. She kept my mind at ease with all the pictures and the updates. I felt confident she would treat my dog right. I definitely plan on booking with her again in the near future.”

“Emily, Jason & Larry were excellent hosts!! Upon my request for a sitter, they suggested a meet & greet between our dogs. They were welcoming and caring about insuring the dogs were compatible. We agreed on letting Nanook stay. They were very communicative about what our dog was up to, how he was getting along with Larry and they sent photos too. After the stay we were surprised to have received a thank you note and a personalized treat in our bag. That was such a sweet touch! We would definitely book with Emily & Jason again! Nanook enjoyed his stay with them and Larry!”

“Steven has cared for my dog twice now and my dog has come back home well cared for and happy. Steven is accommodating and communicates well. Due to delays in our trip he kept our dog for longer and helped us. Thanks”

“Theresa and Adrian are THE BEST!!! My Mother and I were having a difficult time finding someone to care for our family pet dog Moses, due to people's schedule. We needed someone we could trust to care for Moses while we traveled to a family reunion. I had an excellent experience with Theresa and Adrian caring for my dog. They did an outstanding job ensuring my pet was well taken care of, comfortable, and happy. They were very attentive, responsive, and showed genuine care and affection. My dog seemed relaxed and content, which is the biggest compliment I could give. I highly recommend Theresa and Adrian for anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their furry friend! Thank you so very much! Vito Viviano The Prince 👑🍾⚘️”

“Dalonna is stellar! She was very enthusiastic for the challenge that we had for her. Good communication, good with new care tasks, etc. Great experience for us while on our vacation.”

“Queeny took such great care of my 5 month old puppy! She sent pictures and videos throughout the time of our Kaju being with her. She is also so attentive! At home we get Kaju’s water from the filtered fridge water spout out of habit and Queeny noticed that Kaju wasn’t drinking tap water and provided him with filtered water. I absolutely recommend Queeny!”

“Kayla was great with my geriatric dog! The time my pup spent with her did her good, she came back with so much life, and energy, like she went on a relaxing vacation! I'm very grateful for the attentive care she provided to my fur baby.”
“We had an amazing experience with Sofia. She was incredible with our puppy and kind and flexible with us. A joy to work with, extremely professional, and full of love for our dog! Thank you SO much Sofia! Would 100% ask her to watch Dove again.”

“Frankie came home tired and that’s a sign of a good stay. We got updates and pictures during our overnight boarding and we’re very pleased. Will definitely use Whitney & Samuel in the future.”

“Yelitsa took exceptional care of my pet, Enoki. I was totally comfortable knowing that my pet was in good hands. The daily update pictures informed me that Enoki was happy. Excellent service!!!”

“Elizabeth was great communicating and letting us know the status of our dog Chico. We were very please with her care and services. Looking forward to booking her again!”

“Cody was so great with our golden retriever, Snoop! His dog seemed to get along well with Snoop and it was great to know he was in a good environment being well taken care of!”

“Thank you Angela! She took wonderful care of our dog, Budd. Helped manage his anxiety during thunderstorms, kept us up to date on how he was adjusting, and send sweet photos!”

“I can’t imagine a better pet sitter than Lauren. She truly loves and understands animals and my dog took to her instantly. She sent daily photos and mgs about how he was doing, and he was a very happy boy. Plenty of attention, exercise and giving him his meds. Will definitely use her again. A+++”

“Meredith was the best pet sitter I could have asked for. She was so sweet with my dogs and kept me updated with lots of videos and photos. You can tell how much she loves animals and it felt like she treated my pups as her own. Will absolutely be using her in the future!!”

“Shannon is amazing! Such open communication and goes above and beyond to keep my home tidy and my cats spoiled while I’m away! I would highly recommend had to anyone ?”

“Carli definitely went above and beyond! Carli spent time getting our cat Lola adjusted to having a new person in the house and by the end she was super comfortable and cuddly. Carli also brought in our mail and organized it without being asked! We really appreciated all the care and help.”

“My wife and I are always nervous to leave our three cats when we travel. But Lukis helped alleviate our anxiety by sending updates and photos every time she visited. By the end of the trip we we had very little anxiety left as we knew they were in good hand with Lukis! I can't give a better compliment than the peace of mind Lukis helped afford via her great cat care. Thanks Lukis!”

About: I’ve lived in Atlanta for about 20 years and one of my favorite things about this city is the animal life; both wild and domesticated. I have recently relocates to Detroit! My friend call me “The Dog Whisperer” because everywhere I go puppers can’t get enough of me! My summertime availability is 100% flexible. I’ve taken care of all types of dogs old and young, big and small. I’m no stranger to giving medication or dealing with rambunctious dogs who need a little extra time outside. I believe that all animals deserve love and care and that all owners deserve a break. These puppies are like our children and sometimes kids have to be sent to Autie’s House. Let me be your puppy aunt. The pleasure is all mine. I take classes online and bartend part time. My schedule is very flexible. I am home during the day to play and cuddle with the animals. I leave for work in between 2-4 and return between 8-10. If I am returning at 10 I will feed the dogs before I leave and give them a little treat/snack when I return. I care for the pets based upon your personal standards and their routine. I currently do not offer boarding because of my own skittish pet.

“Evelyn is a favorite of ours and our cats adore her. She’s super communicative and attentive to all their needs. We are a repeat customer and will continue seeking her out to care for our girls.”

About: I grew up with cats and have grown adept at understanding their social cues. I understand that every cat is different, and as such I will always let them take the lead when it comes to interaction. Additionally, I volunteer with the human society, which has given me exposure to working with cats from less than a week old to ones well over 15. This work has also given me experience in working with cats with all sorts of special needs, both physical and psychological. Whatever your kitty's needs (and wants) are, I'm sure I can provide them!
“Erik watched my kitty on short notice and made the process easy. He sent updates and took great care of my car. She is a bit standoffish, but she took to Erik quickly. I will rebook with Erik on the future — thank you!”

About: I've owned/fostered/rescued animals my whole life, and I'm an avid animal lover. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals. I've administered oral medication and eye drops, changed doggy diapers, and bottle fed babies. I also have experience working with aggressive and territorial animals, I maintain a gentle and patient energy and work hard to create a secure relationship with each pet. I don't mind cleaning, I love super active animals, and I'm confident and reliable in caretaking.

“Kennie was professional and reliable and even navigated a power outage while taking care of our cats. We are grateful for Kennie’s thoughtful care and would definitely book again in the future. Thank you Kennie!”

“Nicole stayed at our house with our cats for a week and did a great job following the instructions. My cats have quite the extension routine and needs and she took all the request in with no judgement. One of my cats requires oral medication every day and she took care of that as well. I was able to feel comfortable knowing that my cats were in great hands. She sent me little updates every day as well, communication was solid. When we got home, she left the house extremely clean for us, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!”

About: I would love to take care of your furbaby! I have several years of past experience working at animal hospitals and a year of volunteer experience at the ASPCA animal shelter. I offer boarding with only one pet family booked at a time. I also offer house-sitting and love how it is a great option for some pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I also make sure to keep your home at least as clean and tidy as I found it. I usually stay overnight for the pet's care needs, but if you are looking for just morning to evening or partial day house-sitting, message me for a custom rate. Whether boarding or house-sitting, I will do my best to adhere to your furbaby's normal routine. I have a knack for relaxing anxious/shy/reactive pets and have quite a lot of experience winning them over. I would be happy to do a meet-n-greet in a large outdoor space for your pup to warm up to me on neutral ground. I've cared for the full spectrum of dog sizes and ages. With older pets, I go slowly and make sure not to startle them if they're sleeping, as they may not see or hear me come in. I like to discuss how I can accommodate any special needs your pet may have. Extra plus if your pet is a cuddler! I look forward to getting to know all of your pets' personality traits and quirks! I LOVE hearing stories about the weird things your pets do that make them unique! :D I work from home and can often accommodate same day requests for walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting. I do my best to follow your pet's normal routine. I like to go slow when meeting new furbabies, especially if you tell me they are shy or anxious. I use a few calming techniques that have shown to be effective. I like a challenge! It's so rewarding watching the transformation of a cat/dog go from showing defensive/protective behavior to them rubbing up on me or giving me kisses. Earning their trust is the best!
About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.
About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've been a proud dog owner for over 5 years and have provided petsitting services for neighbors, friends and family for a few years. Thanks to my obsession with my own dog, I have a deep understanding of dog behavior, from potty training and obedience training to teaching basic commands and leash training. My girl loves tricks for treats. I owned a children's toy brand and now work from home full time as a Director of Creative Strategy where I get to spend all day with my pet and yours. I take my Cavalier Sol on multiple walks through out the day in my neighborhood which has beautiful tree lined streets and a huge park for running and rolling in grass. I prefer working with moderate energy dogs, but I'm also open to watching puppies and senior dogs. I want to make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable which has led to me rescuing strays a few times. Your fur baby will be just as loved as mine. Even more so because they will be missed. If you're looking for a dedicated and reliable pet sitter, I’d love to meet your four legged love. I currently work from home which has allowed me to be available for my own pet and others. I do morning, afternoon and evening walks. We have outdoor play sessions and I provide enrichment toys and treats to keep them stimulate. I live in a private building within walking distance to a park. My apartment is spacious but I can see every inch of it so no one is ever out of sight. I am able to provide proof of my dogs up to date vaccination. I require pet parents share proof of up to date vaccinations.
“Jessica was amazing with our new puppy! She was able to accommodate us on short notice, which we really appreciated. She walked him, fed him, played with him, and even introduced him to other little puppies so he could socialize. She greeted me warmly and treated both of us with such kindness. Our pup came home happy and tired from all the fun. We will definitely be coming back!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years, ranging from the typical fish, cat, and beloved Murphy, to include even a pet iguana (or two). 🥰 I have a fenced yard where both Murphy and your furry loved one can play and hang out. For overnight stays I have a large adult dog kennel that can accommodate a Mastiff just as comfortably as it can my Min Pin (who believes he’s the size of a Mastiff). 😄 I have an older dog with lots of energy and plays well with other dogs. I am an active person, so neighborhood walking is available for dogs with proper training. I can also provide some minor training reinforcement for puppies or young dogs learning new skills and/or tricks. 🐾 Tips are APPRECIATED!!! 🐾 I work from home! 🙌🏾 So my schedule is flexible and allows me to be able to work with and respond to clients in a timely manner. My home is fenced. All pets remain on the property unless they are taken for walks. I also will let clients know about overlaps in booking wih animals.
“Friendly, professional, compassionate, attentive,.courteous and so much more...Beverly is a phenomenal caretaker for my precious little furrbaby. She communicated with me regularly during her first visit and that put my mind at ease. I only have positive things to say about my experience and plan to rebook. Thanks Beverly 💎”

“Amazing Care for My Fur Baby! I cannot recommend Dalonna enough! She went above and beyond in taking care of my 3-month-old Morkie making sure all of my pup’s needs were met, I felt completely at ease knowing my baby was in such loving hands. Dalonna was professional, communicative, and treated my Morkie like one of her own. I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-cared-for dog. If you're looking for someone reliable and compassionate, Dalonna is the one!”

Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. I usually send 2ish updates with photos per day, but if you'd like more or less, let me know. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. I WFH a few hours a week as a property manager, so I'm very available for pets who need more attention. Feel free to send a request even if Rover suggests I may be booked, because sometimes it's just for a doggie walk. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial meet and greet, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 20 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your estimate. You are very welcome to book additional drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Your home is my home base, I bring my groceries/book/yoga mat. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. I am responsible, a great communicator, and will always respond to your messages.
“Harper's stay with Rachel went very well. We were in Detroit for a family funeral and wanted a safe and happy place for our pup. Rachel was wonderful and went above and beyond what we expected. She is so friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. I greatly appreciated the photos and video provided during the day. I also loved that she took the time to get to know more about Harper and our expectations even before arrived at her home. The drop-off and pick-up process were extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend Rachel.”

About: Hi! I’ve fostered both dogs and cats throughout all four years of college, including caring for sick pets and administering medications when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—so much so that my family genuinely thought I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I’m currently a medical student and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and truly love providing a safe, calm, and affectionate environment for them. My partner Matthew is occasionally around and helps lend an extra hand, but I am always the primary caregiver responsible for your pet’s care. I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent care, walks, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening routines, and I keep my schedule light when I’m caring for a pet to make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I live in a cozy, clean apartment in a very walkable area near the DIA. My building is extremely pet-friendly and even offers dog treats in the lobby. I provide a calm, safe environment and give each pet plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. I follow owners’ routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs, so your pet feels comfortable and at home.
“Pallavi was fantastic! She took great care of our puppy. She understood the needs of the puppy by discussing the requirements ahead of time, clearly explained the plan on how she plans to handle the puppy and provided regular updates on the status. I would recommend her anyone looking for a pet loving, professional pet caretaker.”

About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. I provide regular updates, ensure fresh food and water, maintain cleanliness, and give each pet the love and attention they’re used to.
About: My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. There are no kids in the home during the day during the week. Typical day include walks around the neighborhood or nearby park, lounging or playing in the backyard or the dog park. Plenty of toys for chewers and plenty of space in our fenced yard to roam and play. I currently work from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. Its important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in.
“Bentley had a great time hanging out with Murphy and Meredith. We've just moved to the Ferndale area, and he misses his old neighbor friends. Happy he's made a friend with Murphy:)”

“Karen was a great help with Luna when I unexpectedly had to leave the dog home alone for a VERY long day. She came over to give her cuddle and pee breaks and a trip to Barkside, Luna’s home away from home. 💕 Even went the extra mile to clean up a little dog mess. Thanks!!!!!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.
“Excellent communication. Expectations of what was needed from me was made very clear, constant response to text messages before, during and after the appointment. Would definitely recommend”

About: I've had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. I currently live with three cats and am very comfortable with feline routines, personalities and special needs. I’m great at problem solving and always love to send photo updates of your fur babies.
“I had a regular walker cancel for a life interruption last minute on my midterm test day and Lukis was wonderful. It was as if they were Kronk’s caretaker for months. He was happy and I had no worries about him while I was testing. I would definitely go to them again for any caretaking needs in the future.”

About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. I'm attentive to animal body language, and know some animal first-aid. In case of an emergency, I'm also capable of lifting up to about 80 pounds.

I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.
About: Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend living with us, be it a hamster, dog, rabbit or bird. But I did not have a pet of my own until I bought my home in Detroit in 2014, settling down after a life of frequent moving/traveling. Now my little family consists of 2 little ones, a sweet bunny, my patient partner and myself. We have lived with cats and dogs in the past, but not currently. I’m an ethical vegan and an animal rights advocate. In the past I’ve worked at the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY, where I cared for and supervised the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs who lived there and spoke to potential adopters who were interested in taking them home. My history of volunteer work in Detroit includes membership in Pretties for Pitties, a pit bull advocacy organization that helps keep Pitts and other bully breeds in their loving homes, and fights BSL in Michigan. I’m an active member of Attorneys for Animals, an organization that connects animal advocates with animal law. Before the birth of my daughter I worked for many years at the Detroit Public Library, and I’m currently an Airbnb host as well. In my life I’ve worn many hats, but my favorite and most fulfilling role has been that of a mom and caretaker of animals. We cannot wait to meet your furbabies and welcome them into our home!
About: Family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets for 20 years. My experience working in the pet industry has also taught me how to provide even better care for pets I have a job with a flexible schedule, so I can be flexible with my pet care schedule. I’m usually available on weekdays 10-7pm. Weekends vary. Every animals has their own set of needs and boundaries. I love to give every pet the space to let me know what works for them
About: I have had a passion for pet care since the age of eleven when I created a pet walking and boarding business within my neighborhood. This business gave me access to assist more pet care opportunities and cultivated a deep compassion for the well-being of the animals in my care. Since then, I have pet sat and walked over 50 dogs and 10 cats, many who are returning clients. I have had the privilege to care for a wide range of small and large breeds of dogs, puppies, kittens, and senior pets. I can confidently assist with pets who have medical conditions and am excited to learn how to best serve your pet and you. Some of the services I have provided to other clients include: walks, engaged play, long term care, specified preparation of food, administering oral and topical medications, transportation, vet trips, grooming, and bathing. I am more than happy to adjust my skills in whatever way will maintain your pet's happiness and your peace of mind. As an anxious pet parent, I enjoy sending updates, pictures, and videos to mitigate any worries you may have while away from your pet. I have a hybrid work schedule and will work with your schedule to prioritize your pet and their unique needs. I greatly appreciate notice with changes to walks/visits but work well with adjustments. I have limited availability for boarding at my home currently. For animals that do come to my house, I spend time beforehand pet proofing to ensure a safe stay. In your home, I do ask instructions are left on how to maintain your space to your preference so there are no disturbances when you return. I can work with whatever parameters you have, especially in regards to entering/exiting the home and shared spaces. Walking safety is important to me and I won't leave the house without a collar and appropriate leash, poop bags, and water if necessary. When it comes to letting pets out in fenced yards, I keep an eye on them to ensure they don't eat anything they shouldn't and that their environment remains safe. Unless specified, your pets will not interact with other animals to keep reactivity levels low and to lessen any stress.

I work independently as an artist and curator, so I make my own schedule, so I always have plenty of time for your fur baby. I am unable to watch pets at my own place, as I am constantly fostering and have my own cats. I've been a trusted house/pet/baby sitter for 10 years, and will take great care of your space.

“Azariah is the best! She accommodated last minute and my girls loved her! They are dog reactive and have to be walk separately and Azariah had no problem either. She’s the sweetest and communicated well with me. 10/10 will recommend and will be using her again”

“I was nervous because this was the first time I'd left Picasso with someone he didn't know. Ekow was extremely kind and sent updates of a happy dog daily, which made me feel much better. We've found a new sitter and I will definitely be reaching out anytime we need a sitter. Five stars!!”

Thank you!”

“Frankie came home tired and that’s a sign of a good stay. We got updates and pictures during our overnight boarding and we’re very pleased. Will definitely use Whitney & Samuel in the future.”

“David was amazing! We needed a last-minute overnight boarding for our puppy, Teddy, and he was incredibly responsive from the start. He was friendly, communicative, and immediately put our minds at ease about leaving Teddy for the night. We truly appreciated his kindness and flexibility, and we'll definitely be using his services again. Highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of both cats and dogs for my entire life. From elderly beagles to pitbulls with no concept of their own size, I love them all! I'm experienced with special needs pets, having personally taken care of pets who are blind and deaf; who have FIV, FeLV and CKD; and who are missing teeth and tail. I am familiar with giving meds orally (both pill and syringe form), taking care of sick pets, and monitoring symptoms. You know what your pet needs, and I always make sure quality care is given in your absence! Please note I will likely use my own handless leash for safety purposes. I am comfortable working with reactive dogs and dogs with prey drives. However, it is crucial that you inform me of any behavior issues beforehand. Owners who are not upfront with behavior issues risk being dropped as clients. If booking times are flexible, please let me know. This helps me book you faster and allows us to start conversations about your pet's needs earlier. Please only book with me when you know what days and times I am needed. Open requests block times in my calendar, so booking in a timely manner is very important. If you would prefer to boom after the meet & greet, that is absolutely okay! Please just let me know upon scheduling the meet and greet. I am currently available mornings, and nights M-F and all day weekends. I typically visit 7-7:45am on weekday mornings and 4-7pm weekday nights. I make visits all day on weekends. I am happy to accommodate specific medication schedules upon request. Starting June 15th, I will be available 7am-9pm all seven days of the week. Starting June 15th, I will be opening slots for clients who wish for their dogs to join me on hikes or long walks (3+ hours) at dog-friendly hiking spots in Michigan. Owners will be charged the housesitting rate, and will be expected to prepare treats, meals, and water for their dogs. If you are interested in reserving a spot or speaking about specifics, please book an overnight stay so we can chat. I aim to respect your home and leave it cleaner than I found it! I'm happy to clean pet bowls, vacuum pet beds, etc. If possible, please provide the name of your home internet and password. This saves time when I am sending you cards, questions, or other updates! For housesitting clients, I aim to send two updates minimum during the morning and afternoon/early evening. If you would prefer to have more or less updates, please let me know!
“Rahied took amazing care of our puppy, Coco! We had a last-minute non-pet friendly trip come up and he was able to accommodate our request of having her stay in his home within twelve hours of booking. We had contacted him the previous evening in case our possible sitter fell through. It was her first time being away from us and we were all very anxious. Rahied put our minds at ease as he is extremely kind and communicative. He responded very quickly to messages through the app. He was also very understanding when our puppy had an accident in his house. She's completely potty trained but I will only go potty in our backyard usually, almost never going when we are on walks. Rahied continue to take her out frequently in his yard and walks to try to get her to go. He showed genuine care and concern for her which was reassuring to us that we had made the right choice entrusting him with our puppy's care. Coco even came home with a new toy that she apparently grew attached to while at Rahied's house. She came home happy like she had a great time! We would definitely recommend Rahied!”

“Chris & Cass were amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They gave me regular updates of my pup & gave me peace of mind so that I could enjoy my time away. Definitely recommended!”
