She does have a bad ankle so due to that we had to switch over so if u have a bigger stronger dog who pulls or is reactive, may be best to find someone else. But otherwise she did the job and walked him even with that ankle :)! She helped us find other options as well and always had tips to help when issues were brought up. She seems to really care about the animals and what they need.”

About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

About: Hello! I’m Maranda and I love animals, like most people. I am open to all animals! Any pet in my home will be treated as my own, following guidelines set by you of course. I have most of my experience fromworking in Dog Day Care centers, as well as ten years on and off overnight dog and cat sitting for friends and family, so I am well versed in dog behaviors and body language. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby or babies! My three year old and I are always home except for quick runs to breakfast or the store. I’m rarely gone from the house for more than 2 hours. I ask that drop off/pick up times be between the times of 7am- 9pm. I am also available for transportation! I have dog seatbelt leashes as well and I can pick up starting at 9am and will end at 9pm, outside of emergencies. Thank you for understanding ☺️ A somewhat fenced yard, a chain link fence that is weak at the poles (working on updating) but! dogs would be leashed at all times regardless. I have a large three year old who is the only child in the house that is never left unattended around animals. The comfort of the dogs are most important. If your fur baby has any resource guarding, fear aggression, or herding behavior I ask that we do a meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. My house is baby proofed, although maybe in a state of organized chaos thanks to said toddler, so animals will be safe as well. I have three cats, but when dogs are in the house they hang out in my basement, as that is their home base. The pups in my care have access to the entire first floor of my house, and can come upstairs with me with supervision if I do not have any cat guests lounging upstairs (: I have two crates, one is 36 inches and the other is 42 and they are equipped with beds and an optional crate cover if that is what the pup is used to. If drop off or pick up is needed of me, I have seat belt leashes for car safety. During drop in visits, each family and pet have their own groove so please forgive me if i ask so many questions! I want to maintain familiar routines and behaviors with your fur babies so they can be as comfortable as possible. For drop in visits, please tell explain where the food is kept and where the food bowls/litter boxes are. Some dogs have triggers that put them in an arousal/overstimulated state, (Hats, hoods, boots? big jackets, certain pitches, how a stranger enters the house etc) please tell me if your dog has any of these! I have worked with many rescue/shelter dogs, I can accommodate for your babies. Please give a heads up for any exciting things your dog likes on walks! How do they walk, do they chase? Etc.

About: Grew up with pets but can’t have my own right now. I’m looking to help others and get to have be around pets part time! I am self employed with flexible hours every day of the week. I go on daily walks so having a dog by my side would make them even better! I’m kind and gentle and pets gravitate towards me. About: Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend living with us, be it a hamster, dog, rabbit or bird. But I did not have a pet of my own until I bought my home in Detroit in 2014, settling down after a life of frequent moving/traveling. Now my little family consists of 2 little ones, a sweet bunny, my patient partner and myself. We have lived with cats and dogs in the past, but not currently. I’m an ethical vegan and an animal rights advocate. In the past I’ve worked at the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY, where I cared for and supervised the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs who lived there and spoke to potential adopters who were interested in taking them home. My history of volunteer work in Detroit includes membership in Pretties for Pitties, a pit bull advocacy organization that helps keep Pitts and other bully breeds in their loving homes, and fights BSL in Michigan. I’m an active member of Attorneys for Animals, an organization that connects animal advocates with animal law. Before the birth of my daughter I worked for many years at the Detroit Public Library, and I’m currently an Airbnb host as well. Since then, I have pet sat and walked over 50 dogs and 10 cats, many who are returning clients. Some of the services I have provided to other clients include: walks, engaged play, long term care, specified preparation of food, administering oral and topical medications, transportation, vet trips, grooming, and bathing. I am more than happy to adjust my skills in whatever way will maintain your pet's happiness and your peace of mind. As an anxious pet parent, I enjoy sending updates, pictures, and videos to mitigate any worries you may have while away from your pet. I have a hybrid work schedule and will work with your schedule to prioritize your pet and their unique needs. I greatly appreciate notice with changes to walks/visits but work well with adjustments. I have limited availability for boarding at my home currently. For animals that do come to my house, I spend time beforehand pet proofing to ensure a safe stay. In your home, I do ask instructions are left on how to maintain your space to your preference so there are no disturbances when you return. I can work with whatever parameters you have, especially in regards to entering/exiting the home and shared spaces. Walking safety is important to me and I won't leave the house without a collar and appropriate leash, poop bags, and water if necessary. When it comes to letting pets out in fenced yards, I keep an eye on them to ensure they don't eat anything they shouldn't and that their environment remains safe. Unless specified, your pets will not interact with other animals to keep reactivity levels low and to lessen any stress.

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. For the past 5 years I took care of my senior dog until he passed at 17. I have experience with senior and sick pets. Provide medication and a lots of attention. Very patient and loving. I work remotely. I can stay with your pet all day and provide plenty of attention and potty breaks. I can take breaks during the day for walks, and they can sleep in my bed at night. I have a large fenced back yard. No children or other pets in my house. I live alone and work from home. I will provide plenty of attention and play time.

About: I'm very outgoing I love my dog like I birth her myself. She is 4 years old now she's very spoiled thanks to Me I have no children so I treat her as such. I want her to have more same companionship this gives me an opportunity to allow her to play and have fun while I research another breed of dog to get. I run a rescue program with my friend and community members, and am very skilled with medical monitoring and behavior reading. I have experience working with special needs and elderly animals.
