About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I've been a proud dog owner for over 5 years and have provided petsitting services for neighbors, friends and family for a few years. Thanks to my obsession with my own dog, I have a deep understanding of dog behavior, from potty training and obedience training to teaching basic commands and leash training. My girl loves tricks for treats. I owned a children's toy brand and now work from home full time as a Director of Creative Strategy where I get to spend all day with my pet and yours. I take my Cavalier Sol on multiple walks through out the day in my neighborhood which has beautiful tree lined streets and a huge park for running and rolling in grass. I prefer working with moderate energy dogs, but I'm also open to watching puppies and senior dogs. I want to make sure dogs feel safe and comfortable which has led to me rescuing strays a few times. Your fur baby will be just as loved as mine. Even more so because they will be missed. If you're looking for a dedicated and reliable pet sitter, I’d love to meet your four legged love. I currently work from home which has allowed me to be available for my own pet and others. I do morning, afternoon and evening walks. We have outdoor play sessions and I provide enrichment toys and treats to keep them stimulate. I live in a private building within walking distance to a park. My apartment is spacious but I can see every inch of it so no one is ever out of sight. I am able to provide proof of my dogs up to date vaccination. I require pet parents share proof of up to date vaccinations.

My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years, ranging from the typical fish, cat, and beloved Murphy, to include even a pet iguana (or two). 🥰 I have a fenced yard where both Murphy and your furry loved one can play and hang out. For overnight stays I have a large adult dog kennel that can accommodate a Mastiff just as comfortably as it can my Min Pin (who believes he’s the size of a Mastiff). 😄 I have an older dog with lots of energy and plays well with other dogs. I am an active person, so neighborhood walking is available for dogs with proper training. I can also provide some minor training reinforcement for puppies or young dogs learning new skills and/or tricks. 🐾 Tips are APPRECIATED!!! 🐾 I work from home! 🙌🏾 So my schedule is flexible and allows me to be able to work with and respond to clients in a timely manner. My home is fenced. All pets remain on the property unless they are taken for walks. I also will let clients know about overlaps in booking wih animals.

About: Your home is my base. Professional housesitter, LGBT+ND Friendly. My homebody routine (WFH yogi) mean tons of time with your pet. I'm very tidy, and a good fit for clean nonsmoking homes. Over 200+ nights per year petsitting! Your place is my home, not just short visits. I also enjoy multiple pet households of 2, 3, 4 or more! I am patient with anxiety, special needs, medication, and puppies. I love written instructions, and take medication seriously. My day is typically yoga, meditation, movie nights with your pets, two hours WFH, and walks or yard time. I also offer daytime care in your home via the Housesitting tab (3 hours to 10 hours+) even if you don't need overnight. You can also book Drop Ins of 30 mins to an hour, or multiple hours. I usually send 2ish updates with photos per day, but if you'd like more or less, let me know. I'm mature, sober, nonsmoking; I don't vape or use drugs, not even caffeine. I have decades of experience caring for houses and pets. I WFH a few hours a week as a property manager, so I'm very available for pets who need more attention. Feel free to send a request even if Rover suggests I may be booked, because sometimes it's just for a doggie walk. Note: All of December will be at Rover Holiday rates. After our initial meet and greet, it is standard to do cold swaps vs hot swaps, for your out of town trip. I arrive after you leave, and depart before you return. This usually means smoother transitions for pets and humans. If you need a sit start time before 8am, or end time after 8pm, or drives over 20 minutes, there is an additional charge of $30 each, not included in your estimate. You are very welcome to book additional drop ins or walks before your sit so we can all get to know each other! Your home is my home base, I bring my groceries/book/yoga mat. Playtime, downtime, and sleepytime are spent with your pet. I WFH and love reading, cooking, meditation, movies. My commitments are important to me, and I care about your pets. I am responsible, a great communicator, and will always respond to your messages.

About: I actually care for the animals well beings. I can train a pup to sit, stay, paw, shake (two different paws, 2 different commands), high 5 and even roll over! :) Pet care fits in my day to day life as my sister and I share 3 dogs and a cat together. 2 of those dogs plus the cat being mine so it plays such an important role in my life. As long as the supplies are there I will make sure your animal is getting the prescriptions, kitty litter changed. That’d be the only difference because I will be giving top notch service weather in at the clients home or my home.

I rearranged my schedule for the pet. I don’t have a set work schedule. I drive Uber at the moment. Also, my house has an enclosed backyard. I also require a pet parents to have a leash, a harness or some other form to walk your pet. I have locked doors. I have screen doors and I also asked the owners how they are on leash and if their yard is enclosed or not, my house isn’t closed and I have all things up above floor level. All my stuff is like waist high and I make sure anything that our animal would chew on is up. I also asked if the pet parents have shots up-to-date. And I also asked them to provide a kennel of some sort just in case the animal needs to be put in there. The only time I would put them in is if the owner requires them to be in at night why I’m sleepy or if I leave the house and don’t take the animal with me

About: I would love to take care of your furbaby! I have several years of past experience working at animal hospitals and a year of volunteer experience at the ASPCA animal shelter. I offer boarding with only one pet family booked at a time. I also offer house-sitting and love how it is a great option for some pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I also make sure to keep your home at least as clean and tidy as I found it. I have a knack for relaxing anxious/shy/reactive pets and have quite a lot of experience winning them over. I would be happy to do a meet-n-greet in a large outdoor space for your pup to warm up to me on neutral ground. I've cared for the full spectrum of dog sizes and ages. With older pets, I go slowly and make sure not to startle them if they're sleeping, as they may not see or hear me come in. It's so rewarding watching the transformation of a cat/dog go from showing defensive/protective behavior to them rubbing up on me or giving me kisses. Earning their trust is the best!

About: My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. There are no kids in the home during the day during the week. Typical day include walks around the neighborhood or nearby park, lounging or playing in the backyard or the dog park. Plenty of toys for chewers and plenty of space in our fenced yard to roam and play. I currently work from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. Its important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in.
