7. Kristen G.
“Really RECOMMENDED! Although, Jigi is super spoiled and not happy with strangers, she was really comfortable with Kristen! My dog is almost 15 years old with Cushing's syndrome and coughing. Kristen was very careful, watchful and took care of Jigi in the best way. Kristen is very flexible too. :)”

8. Tony & Victoria B.

“Tony greeted us while we were still in the driveway. We came in, and he took the food and bed. The other dogs were gated in the living room, and Digger went up to the gate. He didn't growl, which was good. I felt comfortable leaving him there. I got two pictures of him during his stay and a good report. I would definitely book with them again.”

9. ÐuVaríus V.

“DuVarius did a great job with my dog. He sent pictures, a video, and was very flexible with pick up/drop off times.”

About: ***Please let me know if your dog has a Barkside membership!*** My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. In between play sessions, your dog will be able to relax and rest easily on a dog bed or on the couch with lots of blankets to snuggle in all while listening to calm noises especially curated for dogs. After their nap, they will wake up to a nice snack and stretch their legs outside via a walk, park or just lounging in the backyard. Water bowls are cleaned throughout the day and paws are wiped cleaned after coming in from outside. We have a bin of brand new dog toys from BarkBox for all sizes, ages and chew types. They can take them home or keep them here for their next visit! You are welcome to bring your treats if you prefer. Otherwise, we always keep treats and biscuits stocked up in a variety of flavors but all organic. You rest easy knowing that we are strictly a “Positive Reinforcement” household. We believe in rewarding good behavior and not disciplining bad behavior. We have an 11 year old cat that’s keeps to herself but are able to section the home off if your dog prefers. Our 5 year old pup, Arbor will be your dogs guide and best buddies throughout his/her stay. Arbor has mastered all basic and intermediate obedience training and practically grew up in dog parks. There are no kids in the home during the day and we ask for all pets to be picked up from daycare no later than 5pm. (Please inquire if you need additional flexibility) (While we do charge for pick ups, we are happy to drop your pup off at home within a 8 mile radius of our home.) Last minute requests can be considered, please contact me to inquire! I currently from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. I think it’s important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in. A place to relax, to sleep, or to be alone. I have carefully arranged my home for my pets and child to be able to roam safely. This will be adjusted based on pet needs I am also a firm believer that proper obedience training is essential to keeping pets safe.

11. Mariana H.
“Mariana and her husband have hosted our dog Shama multiple times now and they are always our first choice because we know Shama is always happy to see them and stay with them. Very flexible and communicate very nicely with us. We highly recommend them.”

12. Lisah C.

“Lisah was amazing! We contacted her with kind of short notice and she went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and our baby boy was taken care of. I would definitely recommend booking with her. We sure will!”

13. Karley M.

“Karley was wonderful with my puppy Oliver. We had just adopted him a week before and needed someone to watch him for a day. I was really nervous about it because he’s still a puppy and we’ve never had to leave a puppy with someone else before. But Karley was so kind and kept me posted the whole time. When we came to pick Ollie up, he seemed to have had a very comfortable stay and felt safe with her. I 100% recommend reaching out to Karley if you’re in the Detroit area and need someone to watch your furbaby for you.”

14. Taj B.

“Taj is always such an amazing host. Naya loves to be at her house and with Abu! Whenever possible I use Taj for any dog sitting needs I have. So glad I found her!”

15. Dalonna B.

“Dalonna did great with my two girls. She took care of them really good. She’s nice and very responsive. Highly recommended! Will book again if we ever visit Detroit again.”

16. Keryandra T.
“I do a lot of last minute traveling for work and oftentimes finding my baby someone to hang out with at the last minute to be such a headache. I reached out to Keryandra fully expecting her to decline such a late request, but she accepted! My lab mix Pepper adores her. She is so communicative and understanding amd such a sweet person. Every time I’m headed out on assignment, we choose her to take care of Pep.”

About: I’ve taken care of as well as owned several different breeds of dogs such as Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, Bernese Mountain dogs,Fila Brasileiros, as well as cats, snakes, Turtles, Bearded Dragons...etc. I currently own 3 very playful and pet friendly Siberian huskies. We usually go for 2 walks a day with each walk lasting anywhere from 40 mins to no more than 2 house usually. I have a fenced in backyard go for lots of running. I like to keep supervision at times while having dogs out. I also own two cats who though dog friendly likes to spend most of their time in my upstairs bedroom. All breeds are welcome as well. 🏠 🐾 So Come One!Come All! Every Furry Friend with A Paw

18. Deja C.
“There is a possibility that Rosie likes Deja more than me and that is okay. It is a true testament to how Deja truly cares for Rosie like she is her own dog. She took Rosie on multiple walks throughout the day, provided all of her meals and snacks on time (while sticking to Rosie's diet and ensuring that all food consumed was safe for dogs), and even let her cuddle in bed to help her feel more at home. Deja really knows how to form an authentic relationship with your pet. I never feel any worry while Rosie is in her care!”

19. Courtney E.
About: I actually care for the animals well beings. I can train a pup to sit, stay, paw, shake (two different paws, 2 different commands), high 5 and even roll over! :) Pet care fits in my day to day life as my sister and I share 3 dogs and a cat together. 2 of those dogs plus the cat being mine so it plays such an important role in my life. As long as the supplies are there I will make sure your animal is getting the prescriptions, kitty litter changed. That’d be the only difference because I will be giving top notch service weather in at the clients home or my home.

20. Betshaida J.
“In seeing Betshaida take care of my pets as well as her own, I have no doubt that she shares a deep love for animals. She has absolutely no trouble connecting with your pet and shows them the proper attention and affection to keep them happy and comfortable. I’ve also experienced seeing her care for many strays on the street, and it’s clear that she goes above and beyond to help all animals. I strongly recommend her and my cats definitely do too!”
