I was very very nervous at 1st about using this rover app and leaving my baby in the hands of strangers outside of an institution, but Rachel really eased so much of my anxiety. She is very kind and sweet, organized and specific about the needs of your pet. I could tell my little baby Nova had a great time... I really enjoyed the updates and the checking in especially with video so that everything could be confirmed... Nova came home a happy baby. She and her husband took the time to get to know myself and Nova 1st so that they could really make sure Nova was being taken care of with the same love that she gets a home.... I loved that Rachel had a curriculum for Nova throughout the day and not just constant play ALLLL DAY with no structure so that she can improve and stay mentally stimulated and not just worn out.... About: I would love to take care of your furbaby! I have several years of past experience working at animal hospitals and a year of volunteer experience at the ASPCA animal shelter. I offer boarding with only one pet family booked at a time. I also offer house-sitting and love how it is a great option for some pets who feel most comfortable in their own home. I also make sure to keep your home at least as clean and tidy as I found it. I usually stay overnight for the pet's care needs, but if you are looking for just morning to evening or partial day house-sitting, message me for a custom rate. I do my best to follow your pet's normal routine. I like to go slow when meeting new furbabies, especially if you tell me they are shy or anxious. I use a few calming techniques that have shown to be effective. I like a challenge! It's so rewarding watching the transformation of a cat/dog go from showing defensive/protective behavior to them rubbing up on me or giving me kisses. Earning their trust is the best!

I have a partial fence it is not complete yet the land lord said it will be finished soon I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets on my profile it says I own two dogs that is not true I don't have any pets at home Either me or my husband is always home when I’m taking care of a pet. I rearranged my schedule for the pet. I don’t have a set work schedule. I drive Uber at the moment. Also, my house has an enclosed backyard. I also require a pet parents to have a leash, a harness or some other form to walk your pet. I have locked doors. I have screen doors and I also asked the owners how they are on leash and if their yard is enclosed or not, my house isn’t closed and I have all things up above floor level. All my stuff is like waist high and I make sure anything that our animal would chew on is up. I also asked if the pet parents have shots up-to-date. And I also asked them to provide a kennel of some sort just in case the animal needs to be put in there. The only time I would put them in is if the owner requires them to be in at night why I’m sleepy or if I leave the house and don’t take the animal with me

About: I grew up with large breeds and have had dogs my entire life. I lived with all different kinds of foster dogs and now have one 5 year old dog at home. My husband and I are teachers who are home full time in the summer, so we can provide a lot of attention and love to any dog that comes to stay with us! I am a teacher who is home for the summer. I get up early to take a morning walk and avoid the summer heat and take another evening walk. I love taking my dog to the beach to swim throughout the week, as well. I live in a home with a yard (unfenced) and a 5 year old poodle mix to keep your pup company. Lots of walks and time spent snuggling will help keep your dog happy when they stay with me.

When I was 11, I even made my own business cards to pass out around the neighborhood to advertise my petsitting "business". About: My husband and I work from home and have very flexible schedules that allow us to be present with our pets during the day. There are no kids in the home during the day during the week. Typical day include walks around the neighborhood or nearby park, lounging or playing in the backyard or the dog park. Plenty of toys for chewers and plenty of space in our fenced yard to roam and play. I currently work from home as a technology sales rep. When I am not working, I’m entertaining both my toddler and pets. I often have a decent amount of free time and dog sitting has been a great outlet for my dog to socialize and get some fun in! For repeat pets, I have noticed a big difference after a few days of adjusting. Its important for pets to feel safe in whatever space they are in.

About: I grew up with many different animals at home and I loved to take care of them and play with them. I also had dogs and was able to breed and enjoy 12 puppies. I also take care of my neighbors two dogs when they go on vacation or extended weekends. Now I have a Doberman for the last 6 years and she is a smart and loving companion and I trained her to be a service dog.
