She provided videos throughout the day that showed Hobey playing with other dogs, doing tasks that would merit him a treat, and relaxing after some playtime in the backyard. It was nice to see the vids and to see him have a good time. I took him there 3 days in a row and each time he would get excited as we pulled up to her house which made me feel good. I could tell he had an active day when I picked him up cause we would get home and I would feed him and he would sleep for the rest of the night. About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I also require a pet parents to have a leash, a harness or some other form to walk your pet. I have locked doors. I have screen doors and I also asked the owners how they are on leash and if their yard is enclosed or not, my house isn’t closed and I have all things up above floor level. All my stuff is like waist high and I make sure anything that our animal would chew on is up. I also asked if the pet parents have shots up-to-date. And I also asked them to provide a kennel of some sort just in case the animal needs to be put in there. The only time I would put them in is if the owner requires them to be in at night why I’m sleepy or if I leave the house and don’t take the animal with me

About: Hi! I’ve fostered both dogs and cats throughout all four years of college, including caring for sick pets and administering medications when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—so much so that my family genuinely thought I would grow up to be a veterinarian. I’m currently a medical student and spend most of my time at home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I treat every animal as if they were my own and truly love providing a safe, calm, and affectionate environment for them. About: I volunteered all throughout my high school years at the humane society and still try my best to help out and donate when I can. I have three pets, and have had many more in my life and hope to have even more when I’m given the proper opportunity and safe environment. Through my years of being a pet owner I know that animal care isn’t all that easy and isn’t for everyone. It requires hard work, patience, and lots and lots of research. I pride myself in being vigilant with care instructions as every animal is different even when it comes to the same breed. I work a part time job where I find out my schedule weekly. My job entails a 4-7 hour shift where I am completely free after. I am also a student but have yet to begin courses for the fall. I’m a lover of all animals and understand the importance of care and attention that comes with taking care of our furry friends. About: - Bachelors of Science in Zoology with Minor in Animal Behavior from MSU (2008) - Finished 2 of the 4 year curriculum at MSU College of Veterinary Medicine (2008 - 2012); Obtained vast clinical knowledge of animal health and proficient comprehension of normal and abnormal signs and symptoms in a pet's well-being. - Started volunteering and working at animal hospitals and clinics since high school; Over 15 years experience working in various positions from kennel aid, reception, veterinary assistance, and veterinary technician; Able to understand when an animal is hurting, injured, sick, and needs medical attention as well as when a pet is bright, alert, healthy, and enjoying a good quality of life. - Volunteered at multiple animal shelters and non-profit animal rescue groups, including Michigan Animal Rescue League, the Oakland County Animal Shelter, Humane Society in Ingham County, MSU CVM Wildlife Ward, Raptor Rehabilitation Center, and Mid-Michigan Cat Rescue. - Previous owner of 3 dogs (Black Labrador/Irish Setter mix, and 2 Chocolate Labradors), multiple rats and pocket pets, birds, chinchillas, and fish; Current owner of 2 cats. - Experience working in pet stores, such as PetSmart while in high school with various positions as cashier, dog bather, and stocking; Acquired large knowledge of pet products, bathing, and animal care. - Vast training with pet sitting and care since in high school; Has done pet sitting for multiple family members, friends, and neighbors. About: Grew up with pets but can’t have my own right now. I’m looking to help others and get to have be around pets part time! I am self employed with flexible hours every day of the week. I go on daily walks so having a dog by my side would make them even better! I’m kind and gentle and pets gravitate towards me. About: I am an all-around animal lover but I love dogs for their sweetness and playfulness. I’m a soccer fan, lover of music and love to spend time outside. I like to have a clear understanding of an animal’s routine. Sticking to predictable routines are good for their nervous systems. For walking services, I like to go on calm, enriching walks. I’m down for detours and all the sniffing and sometimes I like to finish a walk with a short race back to the house. I ensure that they are hydrating and have everything they need before leaving and locking up. For house stays, I like to spend as much time with animals as they like. Most of my experience is with overnight stays. I am very clean and organized and make sure to do a nice reset for your return home.
About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!
