“Star provided excellent boarding care for my senior dog. She even sent me pictures each day so I could see that she was doing fine! I will be scheduling again with her in the future.”

Melissa M.

“I hesitated leaving my puppy who was still wearing his cone from surgery, but Melissa was the perfect sitter for him. She was able to handle his situation, gave his meds, and I received lots of pics and updates which helped calm my nerves down knowing my baby was taken really good care of. I will definitely call Melissa again for petsitting next time we are in Detroit. So glad to have found her!”

Lauren H.

“Lauren is an amazing dog sitter. I have two high energy Boston Terriers and she was able to handle them with ease. Her dog, Thor, is a gentle giant and helped tire my little ones out. She was incredibly responsive, flexible, and followed any instructions to a tee. I will definitely be booking her again and highly recommend you book her too!”

Timothy T.

“First time using rover. First time I had to leave my puppy with someone else. And I couldn’t have asked for more. It was so easy to set it up. The meet and greet opportunity truly allows to ease the process. Timothy was so professional and approachable. And the best photo-shots I have of my puppy came from this experience too! Thank you Timothy and family for taking care of Marshy.”

Theresa & Adrian B.

“Theresa and Adrian were so great! They were very communicative, organized, and clearly pros at dog sitting. I appreciated how thoughtful they were caring for my senior dog who needed extra help with changes to her feeding schedule and medication. I usually feel anxious leaving my pets when I’m out of town, but this was genuinely the most relaxed I felt- they instilled such a sense of trust due to their professionalism and kindness. I immediately booked them for my next out of town trip! Highly highly recommend!!!”

Sampaguita J.

“An absolute Angel taking care of both of my babies for an extended stay! The ladies miss you and your family so much, I can tell! They had cuddles, play, and I had so many cute pictures sent my way that made me feel like they were safe, loved, and that they’d want to come back for more!! Thank you!!!”

Taj B.

“Taj and her husband were the perfect sitters for my Greta! Their dog Abu is really sweet and got my shy girl to play and they even took her to the park (with permission of course.) Great communication, animal knowledge, and very friendly! Would give more stars if I could!”

Lindsay L.

“Lindsay is an awesome sitter! I got frequent updates and pictures of my pup, I could tell he was very comfortable and Lindsay made him feel right at home. She was very flexible with me with pick up and drop off times and super accommodating. Lindsay is one of the best rover sitters I’ve had and I’d rebook with her in an instant.”

Grace S.
About: Hi there! My name is Grace. I was a dog owner for a long time, and now I'm hoping to meet some new dogs and help you out in the process. I love to jog, and would be happy to take your dog for a run. I love to play fetch or whatever your dog's favorite game is. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm trained as a paramedic, so I'm responsible and cool-headed during emergencies. I love all dogs, but rescues and those scrappy-looking mutts hold a special place in my heart. I have experience with larger breeds as well. There's no dog too big or small for me! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can devote as much time to your animals as you need! I am available on short notice. I love to stay active, so I love going for walks or playing with animals. I live right across from a park with tons of space to run and play.

Vanessa B.

“Vanessa was wonderful with our anxious pup Toby! She is a great communicator, even for a last-minute request, and Toby came back from her house tired and happy. We’ll definitely use her again and recommend her to others!”

Allesha B.

“Allesha took great care of my dog. Her house and yard are lovely and she sent me many updates and took care to get my finnicky dog to eat. Allesha's dogs are very friendly and playful, but she is perceptive of body language and sets up gates in the house if one dog needs a break. She was also flexible with our vacation plans when they changed. I recommend her!”

Vanessa S.

“Vanessa has moved into my top 5 Rover care takers ever. This was the first time that I dropped Kobe off and it will not be the last. She took great care of my little big guy and updated my with so many pictures! She is one of the best!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!”

Kerri R.

“Kerri was so sweet with Zuko! She updated me every morning and assured me he was settling in well. Everything went smoothly. She’s first on my list for next time!”

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, I’m currently a student and working from from home and love dogs to my core. I have a 5 year old toy poodle named Mason. He’s so sweet & playful and he’s always looking for another puppy to play with. I have had experience with dogs my entire life, but in college I decided to get one of my own and I have no regrets yet! I will make sure your pet receives endless love and affection, long walks, loads of fun and trips to the dog park to mix and mingle. Safety of your pet is my priority so there’s no need to worry while they’re under my watch. I understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust with your baby, so I will be sure to keep you updated throughout our day. I enjoy taking photos of my dog and nature so expect pictures updates as well. I am super flexible so for whatever you need, don’t hesitate to ask! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I’m available for daily walks, drop in visits and boarding. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to care for your pet and give them the attention they need throughout the day. I am very respectful of your space and your dog and their’s. Making sure only do what I am advised to and anything outside of that I’d check with the owner prior.

About: I've helped care for family pets in the past, but now I have my own kitten as well, and so I've had practice and done a lot of researching to make sure I am a knowledgeable and resourceful caretaker. I work remotely! So even when I'm working, I can still be near at home and keep my eye on them. I understand wanting to make sure animals are tended to, so even if I do have to step out, I time it and try to make sure I'm never gone too long. We will be indoors only. If you do want your cat to get fresh air outside (aside from being at an open screened window), I have a backpack with a window bubble on it specifically made for small animals, it also opens out into a small structure that'll let them play and stretch their legs a lot more while still not able to roam without supervision. I keep an eye on what they're interacting with to make sure it's nothing that'll harm them as well.
