Looking to make new furry friends!
I have had two dogs that I have adopted in my life that I have cared for, and have fostered a number of others! Right now I have a bernese mountain dog named Denver who is 4 years old! Growing up I loved dogs and jumped at any opportunity to work with them. I have watched my neighbors dogs, friends dogs, and have volunteered at local animal shelters! I am comfortable doing most any task you may need!

Kira's been our rover since we moved to Detroit, and our dog's hung out with her and her dog many times at this point. Our dog clearly loves staying over, which is rare for her, and it speaks to Kira's ability to care for animals and be responsible and present. Will continue to trust her with my dog for as long as she's willing!

Kira was absolutely fantastic!! So accommodating and friendly, you know your dog is in good hands when they are with her. My dog has never come home happier!
I think that Kira would make a really great pet sitter. I was living with her when she got her own puppy, and she always took excellent care of him- making sure she was doing her research, taking him to training classes, buying the right type of food, switching out the food if it didn't seem to be the best for him, taking him to the vet regularly, making sure that he got enough enrichment and exercise. We had two other roommates and it would have been easy for her to ask us to share in some of the responsibility, but I don't remember her ever doing so- she was up for the responsibility and made sure that she had the time to take care of everything. Her puppy grew into a great, well-trained dog. She has also watched our friend's dogs in the past and I'm always impressed with the care she takes. A particular friend's dog has a lot of energy and Kira will go on longer walks and runs than she usually would to make sure he's getting enough exercise and play time. I don't think there's anything Kira couldn't handle.
Kira has watched my dog, Clementine, many times, and she always does a great job! She takes good care of her and spends tons of time playing with her and tiring her out too. Clementine can be quite anxious and sometimes reactive with strangers, so I am very particular with dog sitters, but she felt so comfortable with Kira right away!

I currently work from home most days and I am able to be available when needed. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to provide diligent care for your pets!

I have one dog who loves to keep other dogs company! He is extremely easy-going and is great at matching other dogs energy! I also have a crate that I can use to crate your animal if necessary!

As a dog mom I know the importance of both mental and physical stimulation for your furry friend! For physical exercise I usually take my dog on two walks a day, and I have a bunch of puzzles and toys for mental stimulation! I have a yard, but it is not completely fenced in, so I prefer to take the dogs for walks for potty and exercise!
