About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. About: Hi, I’m Dawn and I have been a pet parent for over 25 years to rabbits, guinea pigs and 4 dogs with 2 of them of senior age. All 4 dogs were raised since they were puppies and they are currently based in my hometown with my parents when I moved here. About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.

About: I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers my whole life and got my very first puppy when I was 15. More recently, I brought home a French Bulldog, and it’s been such a joy watching him grow from a tiny puppy into the sweet, fun 1-year-old he is now! Having pets has always been a big part of my life, and I truly love caring for them I work from home so I am usually pretty available! I do have a lot of virtual calls so I cannot usually do last minute walks but can plan around my day! I am completely free after 3:30 PM everyday. I have a French bulldog who loves to play and spends a lot of his time cuddled up with us. We also have a huge patio that is fenced in and a dog area to let them roam around and play.

About: Over the years I’ve noticed that I can’t think of a single bad experience that I’ve had with cats/dogs. Pretty much every single animal I have crossed paths with has grown comfortable with me if not immediately. I think maybe it’s the way I approach animals, im always talking to them like they’re humans for some reason and it almost seems like they can understand me. And I like to tell myself I can understand them and their silent expressions. This is what draws me to animals so much. That silent understanding and comfort is what makes me love animals so much. I’m currently on summer break while working 2 part time jobs, one is a weekend job only at a pottery shop called color me mine and on top of that I work as an assistant for a home stager! My schedule with her isn’t consistent so I’m looking for one more flexible job. Unfortunately I’m living in a pretty small studio while I study interior design. Because of that I had to leave my pets at home and I decided to rescue an indoor cat in need of a safe home. I got him a window perch which he loves to watch cats and birds on. And every day I make sure to leave my front door open for him so he can watch from the screen with some fresh air. I’ve actually tried to get him outdoors a few times on a harness so he could get familiar with the area but since it’s kind of a busy area the sounds were freaking him out. He loves being pet and snuggling up under my blanket so I give him as much affection as I can throughout the day even if that means I go through endless amounts of lint rollers to get all his hair off of me!! I love taking dogs on walks that’s the only thing I wish cats were more comfortable doing haha!

About: I've taken care of many dogs, some of which were very young, nervous, and quite untrained, and made them feel loved, relaxed, and comfortable. I am very good at getting dogs to listen to me, as I have worked with rather hectic dogs and gotten them to calm down. I have spent entire summers in Germany with my cousin's dog, walking it, feeding it, and taking general care of it. I have also taken care of multiple dogs in the same house at the same time, and can handle the needs of several pets at once. I have a very flexible schedule and can work every day of the week! I have a remote internship with a few online meetings per week, but those meetings can be attended anywhere. I like to stick to a schedule and make sure the dogs I am taking care of get walked regularly, whether that be once, twice, or even three times in a day. I also like to be consistent with feeding times and making sure that the dogs I am taking care of always have adequate water. I also always check for signs of concerning behavior. This includes making sure the dogs are at ease and not agitated. I also consistently check to make sure whether the dogs need to go outside to use the bathroom.

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. About: I am taking a break from work and have the time to house sit and check in as well as board. I have done Rover for a few years now and have worked at dog boarding facilities. I am able to walk your fur babies in the morning and in the evening. I have experience with medication and injections for whom are needed. I have starting training experience and hope to learn more while watching my fur child Ruffles grow and enjoy life. It is true that Each pet has his/her own characteristics, so I try to find way to connect and gain there trust in anyway I can. I understand all pets have different characteristics and I will do everything possible to get to know your pet. I understood pets are a huge part of our familyand that is how they will be treated with love, understanding and compassion. Pets are truly men's best friend, and one that is always there to make our life so much exciting and fun. I can say at the moment I am able to fit any pet into mine and my own pet’s routine! Ruffles gets along with children , any size 🐶 dog and adults! I am trying to board only one pet at a time with my own pet at home just to be in the safer side. However, once your pet is at my home, he or she becomes part of the family instantly. They are allowed on top of furniture. My Ruffles is a non-caged dog but I do own a cage.

About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.
