“Manli was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Molly. She was flexible and understanding when our return was delayed, which we really appreciated. She also sent lots of adorable photo updates, and it was clear that Molly felt right at home. She got along so well with the other dogs, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such a caring environment. Highly recommend!”

“Our dog, Stan, does not easily warm up to people outside our family. We adopted him when he was 8 weeks old, and while he is well-socialized with other dogs, he remains very timid around new people. Before boarding Stan with Kimmy and Jesse, we had used the same sitter on two separate occasions, each for a week. During those stays, Stan always hid under her coffee table and never let her get close to him. However, with Kimmy and Jesse, the experience was completely different. On day four, Kimmy sent us pictures of herself petting Stan—a huge milestone for him. By day five, she was even able to take him on a walk around the neighborhood. Day by day, Stan grew more comfortable in their care. Seeing our timid dog so well cared for made us incredibly happy! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring couple or a more loving environment to board Stan. We are so grateful and look forward to boarding him with them on our upcoming spring break!”

“Matthew and Katelyn were amazing! They took such great care of our pup for the night and made everything super easy. They sent updates and photos, and I could tell Coco was having a great time and felt totally comfortable. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed. I’m so glad we found them — I’d definitely book again!”

“Very attentive and thorough! Took my dog for long walks, made sure she was well-fed, and paid close attention when she was around another dog. Would highly recommend!”

“Jifu did a great job taking care of my dog Taco. Taco was shy and afraid as this was his first stay away from family. Jifu was patient with Taco, and he was able to get more comfortable after a day. I received updates and photos from Jifu during the stay. I would book Jifu again. Thank you!”

“Margaret and her dogs welcomed Quincy, our labradoodle, as a temporary member of their pack. It was great for him to be with other dogs and a very dog-savvy human. Margaret’s very observant, very caring and ready to help new dogs learn good behaviors. We hope Quincy will be able to stay with her in the future.”

“Peanut had his trial day with Shannon today and everything went great. She took wonderful care of him, kept us updated with lots of photos, and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. We could see that he was happy and well cared for. We will definitely book with her again in the future”

About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while I'm home for the summer. I’m vegan and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule right now, so I'm around to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, and make sure everything is taken care of. I'll always send plenty of photo updates too so you know they're doing great. I've taken care of dogs and cats for family and friends over the last couple of years, so I'm super comfortable handling feedings, walks, and overnight stays! I’m home for the summer and my schedule is incredibly open and flexible right now. Since I don't work a typical 9-to-5, I have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends to hang out with your pets, stick to their routines, and make sure they're taken care of. Safety is the main thing for me. I always double-check locks and gates, follow whatever feeding or walking instructions you leave, and keep a close eye on them. I've watched dogs and cats for family and friends for the past two years, so I know how to keep everything clean and safe.

“The sweetest dog deserves the sweetest sitter! Anam kindly did a meet and greet with us before a multi-night stay. Our dog quickly warmed up to all the love and attention. Anam provided just the right amount of photos and updates. Piper enjoyed her stay!! Thank you so much!!”

“Rachel is a great provider and really took great care of our pup. She communicated proactively, frequently with pictures and videos and updates. She followed pup's meal instructions carefully and even bought few things as needed. She took our dog for 2-3 walks per day and treated him like her own pup while at home. We felt at ease while traveling that our pup was in great hands. I would definitely recommend Rachel to take care of your dog. Thank you Rachel!”

“Kaia had a nice overnighter with Nina and Leo, where she got long walks and lots of pets. This was a get-to-know-you stay for both sides, and we're looking forward to booking a longer-term visit.”

“Tillana is so so sweet and took great care of our girl during the holidays. She’ll treat your pup like her own! We love the daily pupdates and pictures.”

“Kelly took great care of Lucky. He seemed very happy after his time with her and even as we were getting back in the car he went to the end of his leash to get one more look before she left. Highly recommend Kelly!”

“Lia was wonderful in taking care of Belle for a week. This was the first time for Belle to be away from us. Lia made us comfortable by sending videos every day and keep in constant communication with the entire time. Lia’s Gigi was a great friend to Belle and they had a wonderful time. I would definitely ask Lia to dog sit in the future.”

“Jessica is amazing! She took Snow on fun adventures all weekend long, and she updated me every night with pictures and a recap of the day. I could tell that he was well-loved throughout his stay and got to play to his heart’s content. She was also very responsive in setting up a meet and greet and flexible with drop off/ pickup times. Thank you Jessica, we’ll see you again!”

“Step took good care of our boy. He communicated and provided photos which I love. Our boy had a great time hanging with Step and his family and made a new friend with their pet. I would def recommend a stay with Step”

“Rachel was amazing with our cat, Jasper! She was communicative, thoughtful and clearly genuinely cares. Her updates were detailed and reassuring and she went above and beyond—bringing in mail, spending extra time, and even leaving a sweet handwritten note and photo. Jasper clearly adored her and we felt so at ease while away. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”

About: I love cats and everything about them!! Out of all 8 of my fur babies 7 of them are cats! And I have one dog that thinks she’s a cat sometimes and tries to play with my cats if they let her. I’ve always been extremely big on treating your dogs/ animals right. The way you treat your animals will reflect in their behavior and nothing makes me happier than seeing my dog being so gentle and nice to my cats. She nurtured one of my kittens and they became very close it’s the sweetest thing! I recently rescued my first adult cat and take him with me wherever I go when necessary. I’m confident in my experience with both indoor and outdoor cats now because of him!

“Yeri was incredibly professional, easy to contact, and sweet with the cats. Strongly recommend her to anyone who wants some peace of mind about their pets when they’re going out of town!”

“Ka Ying is pleasant, responsive, and patient. She gave me peace of mind during her visit with my cat, and handled instruction updates with grace. Highly recommend her for your dog or cat! Thanks again Ka Ying.”

“Guilherme was great with our two cats, one of which needed daily liquid medication. We got prompt and frequent updates and pictures throughout the visits. Would easily recommend!”

About: I've an abysinnian cat at home, and also had a ragdoll and domestic short-hair. I've experience with kittens and mature cats. Don't hesistate to ask me to clean your cat's litter box or open a can of fish.
“Samantha was really great with our cat while we were away. She was quick and easy to communicate with. We will definitely book her again in the future.”

“Julie was great. Very conscientious and proactive. Our cats hide from strangers but Julie sought them out and tried to get them to be less fearful. We would definitely book with her again.”

“This was my second time booking Alexis. She again, went above and beyond, was sensitive to each cat’s personalities and quirks, and very communicative! I value and appreciate her genuine care and responsibility. I will definitely book her again-it’s a game-changer when traveling; knowing I can trust my fur babies are in excellent care with her!”

“Justine is the best! She was flexible and kind, working with us when our plans changed on short notice. She's always wonderful with our kitty and shares detailed updates. She even went above and beyond to help us address a pest issue while we were away. Thank you, Justine!!”

“Maria took great care of our two cats while away! She sent regular photo updates, and we returned to happy pets. Her genuine affection for animals made our time away worry-free. Highly recommended!”

“Anastassi was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Bishu, while we were away. She did drop-in visits and kept us updated with pictures and messages, which really helped us feel at ease. She even made time to meet us beforehand, and it was clear right away that she’s both sweet and trustworthy. It’s always a little nerve-racking giving someone access to your home, but Anastassi made us completely comfortable and took great care of Bishu. He even looked excited to see her and played with her during visits.! We’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

About: I spent time as a SPCA cat socializer with perfectly healthy kitties and some with significant health needs. We were expected to keep them company whether energetic kitten, disconnected and scared cat or even sick cats being treated. I’d play with the ones that wanted to play, sit with the shy ones and learn how to properly read their behavior and respond appropriately to get them more comfortable with humans. I raised my own cat who was a pretty easy going one from the get go. But my training and experience as a socializer helped me navigate ways to best support my other two kitties’ needs, and friends’ kitties’ needs more adeptly. Cat behavior is nuanced and I pride myself in looking for an animal’s signals to ensure I’m helping them be comfortable.
“Cameron was amazing and really accommodating of our holiday schedule which was unexpectedly chaotic due to storms in our area. He made sure our cat was well taken care of and went above and beyond in all regards!”

“V took very good care of my cat, Pinto for the day. She sent me updates and pictures during the day (without me asking), made sure that Pinto would be safe while she was out of the house (e.g. by removing flowers), offered to help me bring things in from and out to the car, and was flexible and communicated well about pickup and dropoff times. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Silvana did a great job with our 2 cats! Came back to happy and well taken care of furbabies. Communication was prompt and smooth and we didn’t worry while we were gone. Thanks Silvana!”

About: My siblings have many pets and growing up I would walk and take care of them when they needed it. I also have helped neighbors take care of their pets and helped go on walks and dog sit at homes. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of free time to go on walks and dog sit overnight. I would for that free time to be spent taking care of your pets! I take dogs out on walks and clean up after them if needed. Walks can be as short as 20 minutes and as long as you’d like!

“Rachel was a great sitter, although she underestimated how food motivated Namu is and he took her by surprise. She seemed to follow his feeding directions well otherwise, and sent picture and video updates throughout his stay. He seemed to have gotten comfortable with her and bonded pretty well. Thanks Rachel!”

“Silvana took incredible care of my very anxious dog. He typically has separation anxiety and takes a while to get use to a new place, but she made him feel comfortable right away. She took him on walks, took him to the park to play with another dog he felt comfortable with, and made sure I was updated throughout the day with pictures and videos. When I went to pick him up he gave her kisses goodbye :) We absolutely will re-book with Silvana. Thank you, Silvana, for taking such great care of Jackson!”

“Our puppy had such a great time with Ying! She was super attentive to all our puppy’s needs and sent lots of pictures. She was very responsive and answered all my questions. Her dog has also been a great playmate for our puppy, so they get lots of energy out too.”

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. I am very comfortable around dogs and want your dog to be happy. I am very clean and want to be considerate of your space.
“Margarita was amazing with my pup. She walked her twice, played with her, and was able to calm her down quickly after I dropped her off—my pup suffers from separation anxiety. She sent me photos of my pup throughout the visit. I highly, highly recommend her.”

About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.
“Stacey has been incredible with our little dog Coco. She has been extremely communicative and sent us lots of pictures during our time away. Coco loved her time hanging out with Stacey’s dogs and having lots of play time. Thank you so much Stacey, we’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. I have no personal pets.
About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
“We were so nervous about leaving our dog at doggie day care with someone we hadn't met. However, Tillana really took the time to know our dog and took a deep interest in her unique needs and personality! She keep us updated with many pictures, and our dog had the best time! Tillana was very flexible with pick up and drop off too (although if you need an early morning time this seems to be harder). We will definitely be back!”

“Jesse & Kimmy made Honor feel right at home. They sent lots of updates and we really couldn't have had a better experience. We will definitely be booking with them again.”

“Momo had a wonderful time at Edward & Elisha’s. He got lots of play time in their backyard with the other doggies. They sent many photos and Momo came back home pooped! Overall, they were responsive, super sweet and cared for Momo well. Would definitely recommend ?”

“Angela and Kangwoong are real dog lovers. Xico came back home very alert and excited. It is wonderful to have a family with kids share their precious time with Xico.”

About: I started taking care of pets since I was in college. I feed homeless cats and dogs and contact shelters for them. In addition, when sitting dogs and cats, I like talking to these furry friends and I find most of them can understand me! I find most furry babies feel safe and calm when I compliment them in gentle tones and give them warm smiles. Their happiness is my happiness! I work from home so I am available to sit dogs and cats usually full day from Monday to Saturday. Ideally we hope to pick them up before 10 am or after 10:30 am since I usually have meetings at 10 am every weekday. I prefer pets being dropped off at my place and I will make sure they have clean water, fresh food, potty break every 2.5 hours! I will play with them in the yard or in my apartment when they feel playful.
“Kuma had an amazing time with Crystal. She took Kuma out for several walks and was quick to respond if I had any questions. Kuma didn’t want to leave when I came to pick her up. Would definitely recommend Crystal!”

“Sarai is an absolutely fantastic dogsitter! She was so kind, understanding, and patient with our pup, and she truly went above and beyond to make our pup feel at home. Thanks a million, Sarai!”

“Charlotte was great! She took great care of Charlie during the day, went on walks, and was very responsive. She has two young daughters who are gentle with dogs. Would definitely recommend Charlotte for anyone looking for a friendly and caring sitter!”

About: Over the years I’ve noticed that I can’t think of a single bad experience that I’ve had with cats/dogs. Pretty much every single animal I have crossed paths with has grown comfortable with me if not immediately. I think maybe it’s the way I approach animals, im always talking to them like they’re humans for some reason and it almost seems like they can understand me. And I like to tell myself I can understand them and their silent expressions. This is what draws me to animals so much. That silent understanding and comfort is what makes me love animals so much. I’m currently on summer break while working 2 part time jobs, one is a weekend job only at a pottery shop called color me mine and on top of that I work as an assistant for a home stager! My schedule with her isn’t consistent so I’m looking for one more flexible job. Unfortunately I’m living in a pretty small studio while I study interior design. Because of that I had to leave my pets at home and I decided to rescue an indoor cat in need of a safe home. I got him a window perch which he loves to watch cats and birds on. And every day I make sure to leave my front door open for him so he can watch from the screen with some fresh air. I’ve actually tried to get him outdoors a few times on a harness so he could get familiar with the area but since it’s kind of a busy area the sounds were freaking him out. He loves being pet and snuggling up under my blanket so I give him as much affection as I can throughout the day even if that means I go through endless amounts of lint rollers to get all his hair off of me!! I love taking dogs on walks that’s the only thing I wish cats were more comfortable doing haha!
“Rachel was super accommodating to a last minute request to walk our pup Luca the following day. On top of that, she shared a really detailed report card on how he did and took some really cute pictures of him during the walk! It was very comforting knowing he was in good hands with her”

“Cameron took great care of Mabel and Milton! Cameron is really easy to work with - he came on time and kept us updated at all times. We will definitely have him care for our dogs in the future and we recommend him to others!”

“We have an older dog who needs to be lifted in the car to get to the park. Julie did a great job of helping her, and my other dog, get their walk while I was out of town.”
“Anastasii is fabulous with our dogs! She is very punctual and reliable. We trust her very much to care for our two dogs and she always goes above and beyond.”

“Yu Chen is such a great friend for our pet Shadow. We are so lucky that we found Yu Chen. While we were away, she took shadow out for a long walk everyday for more than we agreed. She left me notes everyday regarding her time with Shadow. It was such a relief to know that our dog is in good hands. She is truly a dog lover! Don’t hesitate to let her take care of your paws. I will always recommend Yu Chen. Hope to see Yu Chen again soon.”

About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.

I am able to walk your fur babies in the morning and in the evening. I have experience with medication and injections for whom are needed.

“Yun was an excellent sitter for our dog Orzo! Our friends who usually watch Orzo were out of town, and Yun was happy to accomodate our booking within a week’s notice. Yun was communicative and sent us daily updates on Orzo’s behavior. We especially appreciate the fact that Yun was flexible with Orzo’s pickup time — our flight was late which made us ~45 min delayed in our agreed upon pickup time. Thank you, Yun! 🤗”
