About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs. About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. I have no personal pets.

About: My experienced started 7 years ago, as I started walking friends and my family friends dogs. I have also walked faster and slower dogs as well as even a blind dog before and have continued ever since. I’m a full time college student with classes from Mondays to Thursdays. I can do afternoons on Tue/Thu, Wednesdays, and weekends whenever works. I can definitely make accommodations. I have a fenced backyard and I always keep an eye out on pets to make sure they are safe, happy, secure, all at the same time.

About: I have done short term pet sitting for my friends and neighbors, feeding their cats and dogs in the morning and night. I like to take the time to play with the pets too rather than being in and out. Personally, I have had 2 cats and 2 dogs and both my dogs are larger breeds. My golden lab was quite the trouble maker and I was present during his training, so I can say I will most likely be able to train walking etiquette for jumpy dogs. I have been around many animals from cats to sheep and they all took their time getting to know me, but in the end they all love me. I currently have no obligations so pet care would form my schedule. I can spend as much or as little time as you want with the critters! In my own home I have a fenced yard and easy outdoor access. I would go back and forth with the pet to make sure they are safe and seen and have adequate potty breaks. If the client wants the pet to remain in one spot I can make that happen as well.

After moving to the U.S., I began caring for dogs again because I missed that connection so much. Friends and family have trusted me over the years with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I’ve since adopted a rescue dog in New York who I love dearly—and who really enjoys the company of other dogs and cats. I work from home and I have a flexible schedule. My husband is a graduate student at Stanford. We both have a regular daily routine, and we love walking and hiking with our dog. I like to keep my clients updated with multiple daily pictures/videos. If anything comes up, I will alert immediately and in emergency situations I will take the pets to the designated vet if we discuss to do so prior to boarding/sitting.

About: I grew up in a multiple pet family; taking care of the cats, ducks and family dog. Over the last couple decades I have rescued animals including my cat 20 years ago. I have also enjoyed caring for my friends and family animals while away, and any stray wildlife that comes my way too:) Right now I am working to start a resin company, and have a very flexible schedule. My care schedule for my animals is structured but flexible, so we can work with many different demands, my cat communicates surprisingly well :) I follow whatever instructions are given before and during visits, care and safety are of the utmost importance. If there is ever a question, I do really love communication so I'm asking and my ears are always perked!

About: I am taking a break from work and have the time to house sit and check in as well as board. I have done Rover for a few years now and have worked at dog boarding facilities. I am able to walk your fur babies in the morning and in the evening. I have experience with medication and injections for whom are needed. I have starting training experience and hope to learn more while watching my fur child Ruffles grow and enjoy life. It is true that Each pet has his/her own characteristics, so I try to find way to connect and gain there trust in anyway I can. I understand all pets have different characteristics and I will do everything possible to get to know your pet. I understood pets are a huge part of our familyand that is how they will be treated with love, understanding and compassion. Pets are truly men's best friend, and one that is always there to make our life so much exciting and fun. I can say at the moment I am able to fit any pet into mine and my own pet’s routine! Ruffles gets along with children , any size 🐶 dog and adults! I am trying to board only one pet at a time with my own pet at home just to be in the safer side. However, once your pet is at my home, he or she becomes part of the family instantly. They are allowed on top of furniture. My Ruffles is a non-caged dog but I do own a cage.
