Dog Walking Old Palo Alto

About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll care for them with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind through reliable care and regular updates.

About: Over the years I’ve noticed that I can’t think of a single bad experience that I’ve had with cats/dogs. Pretty much every single animal I have crossed paths with has grown comfortable with me if not immediately. I think maybe it’s the way I approach animals, im always talking to them like they’re humans for some reason and it almost seems like they can understand me. And I like to tell myself I can understand them and their silent expressions. This is what draws me to animals so much. That silent understanding and comfort is what makes me love animals so much. I’m currently on summer break while working 2 part time jobs, one is a weekend job only at a pottery shop called color me mine and on top of that I work as an assistant for a home stager! My schedule with her isn’t consistent so I’m looking for one more flexible job. Unfortunately I’m living in a pretty small studio while I study interior design. Because of that I had to leave my pets at home and I decided to rescue an indoor cat in need of a safe home. I got him a window perch which he loves to watch cats and birds on. And every day I make sure to leave my front door open for him so he can watch from the screen with some fresh air. I’ve actually tried to get him outdoors a few times on a harness so he could get familiar with the area but since it’s kind of a busy area the sounds were freaking him out. He loves being pet and snuggling up under my blanket so I give him as much affection as I can throughout the day even if that means I go through endless amounts of lint rollers to get all his hair off of me!! I love taking dogs on walks that’s the only thing I wish cats were more comfortable doing haha!

About: Loving and responsible mamma dog, I have two rescued myself. They are a pitbull and a sheppard mix so I can definitely take care of big dogs. I understand their needs and take care of them while providing you with regular updates. Mornings and evenings walks during the week as I work during the day and I have full availability during the weekends to take care of them with walks and cuddles. About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. I have no personal pets.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Pets are part of the family and I treat them all that way. I’m currently a part time student with a bit of extra time on my hands. I would love to spend my off hours hanging out with your pet! I always keep my eye on my pets and make sure they are in a safe and enclosed areas. Their safety and wellbeing is my priority!

About: Experienced animal lover who has raised everything from chickens to horses! I have over ten years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter for friends, family, neighbors, and clients. I am currently a devoted cat mom to two Cornish Rex cats. I am currently working part-time from home, so I have ample time to accommodate your pets schedule. I am also available to spend time in your home for pets who have more social needs while their owners are away. I have a fenced yard and close access to a large dog park for hosting dogs at my home. I also have a large second bedroom to host cats or dogs who prefer to be inside. All pets in my home will be kept completely separate from my two cats.

About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.

About: I love animals and have taken care of them my entire life. I have looked after friends and family member’s animals and have always grown up with cats in the house. I'm also very comfortable working with many different types of personalities and needs of pets. I have always lived with animals and played a huge role in the care and keeping of them. I have always been drawn to animals as they brighten my days and lift my spirits! I currently live with one domestic longhaired cat and I’m obsessed with him. I feed my cat and scoop his litter box. I give him hair ball medication and treats each day. I always make sure to play with him to stimulate him and make him more tired throughout the night. His favorite toy is the laser pointer. He also requires brushing so his beautiful fur doesn’t get matted. I am happy to take care of additional needs for pets I care for such as walks, medicine, extra play time, etc.

About: Besides working my morning job I love to take care pets. I used to pet care couple years and have helped my aunt with her 3 dogs that needed daily walks! I always took care of them as if they were my own! I also have experience with elderly dogs who needed more attention and needed to be given medication daily. I enjoy going outside long or short walks and it’s always great to have a walking partner! I have a one full time job, so this would be 8 hour shifts. I mostly work early in the morning.
