About: Experienced animal lover who has raised everything from chickens to horses! I have over ten years of experience as a dog walker and pet sitter for friends, family, neighbors, and clients. I am currently a devoted cat mom to two Cornish Rex cats. I am currently working part-time from home, so I have ample time to accommodate your pets schedule. I am also available to spend time in your home for pets who have more social needs while their owners are away. I have a fenced yard and close access to a large dog park for hosting dogs at my home. I also have a large second bedroom to host cats or dogs who prefer to be inside. All pets in my home will be kept completely separate from my two cats.
“We have two dogs who can be a bit reactive when walked by leash. My wife and I were instructed by professional dog trainers on how to keep them calm and under control when they see another dog. John picked up the training methods quickly and had both of our guys exhibiting their best behavior. John is a natural, and our dogs adore him. We are extremely pleased with his calmness and attention. Five stars!”

About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I also have experience dog-sitting for larger dogs in the area, including Golden Retrievers and Black Labs. My family's current pets are quite needy, so I am used to frequent walking and particular routines. However, I'm also happy with a more relaxed dog. Over the summer, I will be working about 5 hrs/week in person and 10 hrs/week remotely. I am very flexible for dog walking, including in the morning and the evening. I live in a 2BR/2BA apartment building on Stanford campus. The building is very new. It is surrounded by several fields and playgrounds, so there is plenty of space for dogs to be walked. I have no personal pets.

About: My passion for pets and commitment to their well-being, have helped me acquire invaluable experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. From energetic puppies who can’t get enough playtime to seniors who prefer a cozy spot by the window, I tailor my approach to meet each dog's unique needs. I understand the importance of routine, which is why I prioritize punctual feeding and walking schedules. For many dogs, these moments are the highlights of their day, and I strive to make every experience enjoyable and fulfilling. Whether it’s hiking for the adventurous or gentle leash walks for those who like to take it easy, I’m dedicated to ensuring their happiness and comfort during their time apart from their owners. Additionally, I'm attentive to the emotional needs of pets who require extra affection and support. I take pride in creating a nurturing environment that helps ease their anxiety and keeps them engaged and content while their family is away. With my pet care experience, you can trust that your furry family members will receive the love, attention, and care they deserve! My schedule allows me to be flexible enough to adapt to your pets schedule! Thursday nights are when I'm on a tighter schedule but I'm glad to talk this over! I make sure to make their time away from you as close to their daily routine as possible. I make sure to know their likes and dislike to make them feel as safe and comfortable as possible. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places. Also, if I am house sitting some prefer to co-sleep and I am comfortable doing so. Every pet care experience is catered to your and your pets liking :)

About: I am a relative new comer but I make up for this with lots of time and great soul. I wish to become part of the pet-ite bourgeoisie I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm mostly available for all days of the week now that summer is in! Unfortunately, I can't bring animals over to my home without permission but I can stay and take care of animals at your place for a long while

“My malinois warmed up to Meg immediately. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my dog since he’s 95 pounds and can be prone to hypervigilance, but Meg is calm, knowledgeable, and intuitive with animals. I feel totally comfortable with her.”

About: I cared for my own dog for 8 years, which gave me a strong foundation in daily routines, exercise, feeding, and understanding a dog’s behavior and needs at different stages of life. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s individual personality—whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and reserved. I’m patient, calm, and detail-oriented, which helps pets feel comfortable and safe. I’m also very reliable and will follow your instructions closely, whether that includes specific feeding schedules, medications, or preferred walking routines. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, and I take the time to make sure each pet gets the attention, care, and affection they deserve while you’re away. My goal is always to make the experience as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet. I recently graduated from UC San Diego and am currently back home while searching for my first full-time role, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits, and I can easily accommodate different routines and timing needs. Whether your pet needs consistent daily care or more last-minute support, I’m happy to be flexible. About: I grew up with tons of pets and have pet sit for friends and family in the past. I am restarting my pet sitting but have been volunteering with a local cat rescue for the last 4 years on a weekly basis. I can provide exercise, play time, food, and administer medications. I have my own cat and know how special and important pets are as members of the family. I work full time from home for a non profit and am luckily that my schedule is fairly flexible so I can easily pop over to facilitate a walk or check in on pets. It’s important to me to learn the typical routine and structures in place for pets and then try my best to maintain those for a pets comfort and ease of transition in having a petsitter. Safety inside and out is important, especially going on a walk.

About: I have had a dog of my own since I was little. She is a labradoodle with a bit of an attitude towards others dogs on leash, this has made me comfortable in difficult situations with other animals. I have worked with horses my whole life and have had veterinary experience working with them. At homey family has two dogs who have two very different routines. One of them is an early bird who likes to go to the bathroom and eat early while the other likes to sleep in. My dogs get 3-4 short walks per day and at last one 1-2 hour long walk/run/romp. I currently and unable to house a dog but would be willing to stay with my clients pets. The dog would go on 3-4 potty walks a day and 1 longer walk or form of exercise or whatever the client wants. Every dog and dog parent is different so my service would vary on these factors.

Yu Chen is such a great friend for our pet Shadow. We are so lucky that we found Yu Chen. While we were away, she took shadow out for a long walk everyday for more than we agreed. She left me notes everyday regarding her time with Shadow. It was such a relief to know that our dog is in good hands. She is truly a dog lover! Don’t hesitate to let her take care of your paws. I will always recommend Yu Chen. Hope to see Yu Chen again soon.
