About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10. I've cared for everything from toy breeds to large breeds, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets. Every size and energy level is welcome here, including puppies and senior dogs, and I'm happy to give oral medications on schedule (I don't administer injections). Safety comes first: dogs stay leashed on walks, your instructions get followed to the letter, and I make a point of knowing where the nearest emergency vet is. My afternoons are flexible, which makes me a great fit for midday and after-work walks and drop-in visits. You'll hear from me on every single visit - photos, our GPS-tracked route, distance covered, and notes on how your dog did, because I'd want that same peace of mind. Let's set up a quick Meet & Greet so your pup and I can get acquainted first. My afternoons are flexible, so weekday middays and after-work hours are when I'm most available for walks and drop-in visits, and weekends are wide open. I keep my Rover calendar updated daily and reply to messages within minutes. For regular clients, I'm glad to hold a standing weekly slot on the same days and times each week so your dog's routine stays predictable. Most of my care happens in your home, so respecting your space comes first. Written instructions get followed exactly, doors and gates stay secured, everything is left the way I found it, and your address and entry details are never shared with anyone. On walks, dogs stay leashed the entire time, I stick to routes I know well, bring water on warm days, and check paws and coat afterward. Before the first visit I make sure I have your vet's contact information and the location of the nearest emergency clinic. After every visit you'll get photos and a written recap, so you always know exactly how your dog is doing.

About: Hi! I’m Ally, an animal lover with professional animal care experience ranging from pet boarding facilities to the Oakland Zoo. My approach is calm, attentive, patient, and individualized to each animal. Animals have always been a central part of my life. I became vegetarian as a child because of my love for animals, and that value continues to guide both my personal and professional life today. Professionally, I previously worked at a pet boarding facility where I handled client communication, maintained veterinary and care records, administered medications, monitored feeding and intake, and provided daily hands-on animal care. About: I have cared for dogs of all kinds and ages since I was a child. I've trained puppies, cared for elder dogs, and worked with service dogs as well. January, 2026: I am working part time & remote so my schedule for pet care is very flexible! I'm available for a single day or for longer-term arrangements. I will be happy to help take care of your pets in their homes. At this time I do not have the ability to pet-sit or board at my home.

About: I have loved animals my whole life! A favorite old photo of mine is 2-year-old me hugging my neighbor's baby goat! When I was 8 years old I trained my first puppy how to sit, shake, and walk on a leash. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I cared for pets of friends and neighbors, and also volunteered walking pups at a local animal shelter. My other care experience includes cats, rodents, reptiles and fish! I am primarily available for walks or visits Friday - Sunday with fairly flexible timing! Other schedules may be able to work on a case by case basis. Drop-ins can include cat care (litterbox, feeding, playtime or a lap to sit on) or dog time (feeding, yard time, water checks, etc). Walks can be adjusted to your pet's pace- we can move quickly for maximum steps, or take a slow stroll to smell all the smells!

About: Our family has had a black lab/boxer for over 8 years, and I grew up with dogs in the household. I am active and we love to take our pup on walks, to the park, and play around the family. Would love to extend my care to your dog, as a home away from home or puppy playdate treat. I'm currently a stay at home mom and freelance artist, so available for flexible doggy day care and overnight boarding. Please reach out for initial meet and greet or to schedule. There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places.
