About: I’ve had the joy of owning and caring for both dogs and cats over the years, giving me hands-on experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that every pet is unique, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. With dogs, I have experience raising one from puppyhood, so I’m familiar with the patience, consistency, and attention they need as they grow. I have experience with daily walks, maintaining feeding schedules, and keeping dogs safe during walks by being mindful of things like hot pavement with summer weather. Additionally, I taught my dog fun tricks like “sit” and “paw,” which strengthened our bond and reinforced positive behavior. I have even more experience with cats, having cared for my own cat for over three years as well as multiple kittens and stray cats. Through this experience, I’ve learned to recognize their different personalities, respect their boundaries, and provide the care, patience, and affection they need to feel comfortable. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone dependable to keep them company, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d give my own pets. My goal is for both you and your furry family member to feel comfortable, confident, and worry-free while you’re apart. I have a very flexible schedule this summer, which means I’m available for bookings throughout the whole week! Please feel free to let me know before I care for your pet if you have any special requests, routines, or precautions you’d like me to follow. My goal is to make sure your pet feels as safe, comfortable, and loved as possible while you’re away. For example, if they don’t like being petted in certain areas, have specific feeding or medication schedules, need extra patience around new people or other animals, have favorite toys or walking routes, or have any other unique preferences, I’d be more than happy to accommodate them. Every pet is different, and I’m committed to providing the personalized care they deserve.

About: I've loved animals my whole life and have cared for pets since 2016. I had my own bunny for five years, which taught me responsibility, patience, and how much consistency matters in pet care. Over the years, I've helped roommates, friends, and family with their pets, including feeding, walks (rain included!), baths when needed, cleaning up accidents, playtime, and companionship. While I don't yet provide emergency or medical care beyond the basics, I'm very comfortable with daily routines and making pets feel safe and loved. What sets me apart is that I'm very good at following instructions. I know every pet parent has specific preferences, and I respect that fully. During the first visit, I may ask clarifying questions to make sure I'm doing everything exactly how you like it. I also keep your home tidy and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease. I'm available weekdays during standard working hours and would love to spend that time giving your pup or kitty attention, movement, and care. I'm currently available on weekdays during standard 9-5 hours, which makes me a great fit for midday walks, drop-in visits, and weekday care. I'm not available on weekends at this time. Since I'm focusing on weekday bookings, I'm able to give your pet my full attention during visits rather than rushing between commitments. Your pet's comfort and your home's safety are very important to me. I carefully follow all instructions, double-check doors and leashes, and make sure your pet is secure before and after walks. I maintain a calm presence and respect both your home and your pet's boundaries. I clean up after pets, keep litter areas and feeding spaces tidy, and leave your home as I found it. Clear communication is important to me, so you can expect updates, photos, and honest check-ins throughout my time with your pet.

About: I’m a local elementary school teacher who loves spending time with animals. During the school year, I teach full-time, and outside of the classroom I enjoy caring for pets in my community. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I helped walk and care for our family dogs, and as an adult I’ve continued dog walking and pet sitting both here in California and while living in the Boston area. I’m also an experienced cat owner with three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with all kinds of personalities. One of my cats had significant behavioral challenges, which led me to work with an animal behaviorist and spend countless hours learning about feline behavior. Through patience, positive reinforcement, and clicker training, I taught him tricks and helped him become much more comfortable around people. About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes! From my 95lb golden retriever and my grandpas 120lb giant schnauzer to my aunts 10lb chihuahua and my cat! There are some dogs that do not feel good in loud and busy areas. So I make sure to go on walk them in quieter places. About: I grew up in a multiple pet family; taking care of the cats, ducks and family dog. Over the last couple decades I have rescued animals including my cat 20 years ago. I have also enjoyed caring for my friends and family animals while away, and any stray wildlife that comes my way too:) Right now I am working to start a resin company, and have a very flexible schedule. My care schedule for my animals is structured but flexible, so we can work with many different demands, my cat communicates surprisingly well :) I follow whatever instructions are given before and during visits, care and safety are of the utmost importance. If there is ever a question, I do really love communication so I'm asking and my ears are always perked!

About: Hi, I'm Lizzy! I am a graduate student at Palo Alto University, I have had my labrador since he was the length of my forearm! We've had many adventures together. I hope to have many adventures with your puppies (even the big dogs are puppies to me). As a dedicated dog lover, I aim to befriend your pet's personality and absolutely spoil them! I am very responsive and love providing updates of your pet's adventures! I have time every day of the week to check in and be with your pet. While I won't be having pets in my home, watching them thrive in their familiar home sounds like a great time! About: I’ve dog sat and walked dogs since I was little and love taking care of dogs. I also have a dog so I know how to take care of dogs and pets! I’m working remote during the week! About: I’ve cared for and owned dogs, cats, reptiles, and rats since I was a kid. I love dogs of all sizes and cats of all temperaments. Currently I just have a quail. I love caring for animals of all kind! I am patient and am open to caring for pets with special needs, especially with detailed instructions. Non-traditional pets don’t scare me, although spiders are not my favorite. They’re cute, I just don’t want to touch them. Haha. Am happy to take doggos on fun outdoor walks and give them lots of exercise! Cats will get lots of exercise, playing, and love, catered to their preferences. I currently work part-time tutoring kiddos virtually, and caring for my elderly Father-in-law in Monterey some weekends. I prefer drop-in care and giving walks, but am open to house-sitting depending on the details. I am happy to come to your home to meet and talk about the care if your pet(s). I live in a small apartment, so I won't be boarding any animals. About: Our family has had a black lab/boxer for over 8 years, and I grew up with dogs in the household. I am active and we love to take our pup on walks, to the park, and play around the family. Would love to extend my care to your dog, as a home away from home or puppy playdate treat.
