About: Our family has had a black lab/boxer for over 8 years, and I grew up with dogs in the household. I am active and we love to take our pup on walks, to the park, and play around the family. Would love to extend my care to your dog, as a home away from home or puppy playdate treat. About: I have had dogs my entire life. I've cared for dogs with medical challenges and disabilities and my own dog, Harold, is paralyzed in his rear end. Your dogs will be a part of our family for the time they stay with me. I work mostly from home but may go to the office a few days a week for a few hours. I run in the morning, if your dog is athletic they will come with, or go out for a mellow walk in the morning. I live in a quiet neighborhood behind a park where the dogs can run and walk. I care for dogs in my home. The house has a fenced back yard and we can take trips to dog parks, if your dog is into that. About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.

I don't think I could possibly ever convey just how amazing Courtney is! I was in town for a week for work and my dog is super attached to me and so when I gave her to Courtney she was shaking like a leaf at first. Within the first couple hours Courtney sent me pictures of her having a grand old time with another dog when she brought her back, she was excited to see me and then immediately went back to Courtney! Lol. That night, I was laying on the bed talking on the phone and my dog was next to me and literally fell asleep on top of me she was so tired from having a great day. The next morning, she was pulling so hard on the leash to get to her when she came to pick her up but I just let her go. It gave my mind such ease to know she was in such good hands. And Courtney doesn't advertise it much but man she sent so many pictures and they were just gold, every single one of them. It made me really really happy to see all the things she did throughout the day and to see just how happy and relaxed and playful she was. I'm actually really sad that work is over and I left town because I know that she's really going to miss Courtney. Also Roland her husband was really great as well and my dog just loved both of them. A 100% trust them completely and know they're in great hands and that they love them like their own!!!
I'm so grateful to have such experienced energetic-pup owners watching over my little gal during the day. My pup loves playing with Laker and Nesse. They clearly take such good care of my puppy and puppy is SO EXCITED when she realizes where we're headed. Barely a goodbye from pup at the door.
I knew my dog would have a good day from the moment I dropped her off. This was also the first time she came back not over weight. I appreciate that Yun & Lina were able to entertain her without using all her treats. And I got a mid-day update that helps me know that my pup was having a good day.
From the moment we had our meet and greet, we knew John would be amazing with our dogs! He is one of the sweetest people we have met and took amazing care of Rusty and Ruby throughout the day! John communicates really fast and well l, and sends lots of photos throughout their stay :D we know Rusty and Ruby will be looking forward to their next stay with John!!
Five stars for Raina! This 10 year old has a remarkable gift for animal care. She and her father Mel provided excellent care for our dog Rani over the weekend. What stood out most was Raina’s genuine passion for dogs and her sensitive, attentive approach. Rani returned home calm and happy, and was eager to see Raina and Mel the very next weekend. That level of comfort and trust is best environment we would have asked for. Raina’s caring nature and natural ability with animals make her an outstanding dog sitter. We feel confident leaving our dog with her and the family!
Super sweet family! Our dog was raised with a toddler so it was nice to have kids for her to be with since we don't have any of our own. Normally our dog is nervous about new places. She ran into the house like it was her own. Angela was patient with me being this was our very 1st Rover experience. I had a lot of issues with the website. Kangwoong took care of JuJu as soon as she rushed through the door to play with their daughter. The updates were timely as if Angela could tell when I was missing our little pup. And the whole family came to say goodbye when it was time to leave. Small gestures that mean a lot! She must have had a good day as she slept on the ride home & passed out a little before her usual bedtime in a deep sleep. This morning she woke up on her back stretched out basically saying, "I am living a good life!" She seemed very happy with her stay & she was the right amount of tired. Thank you so much to the entire family for making our first experience an awesome one!
We had a late-night, last minute need for a sitter for our 9-week old puppy. Crystal immediately and enthusiastically responded and the whole experience could not have been smoother. It was obvious our puppy received excellent care and lots of affection. Thank you Crystal!
Teilyn and her wife are absolutely wonderful sweet people and I was so happy to find them on Rover. They have such a lovely backyard area for pups and were great with my 5 month old husky puppy, Yermo. And their two little Chinese Cresteds are awesome! Yermo came home absolutely wiped out (a godsend) and I got check-ins and photos of him helping with gardening and also out at his first protest (so proud). Really thankful for the new experiences and socialization for my puppy and to find great pup sitters.
Anna was great. She responded to my request for daycare right away and was always texting back promptly. My puppy is 6 months old, he is chewing on everything. Anna played with him and gave him lots of toys. She also took him on a nice walk and played fetch with him. Anna has a great house with a fenced yard. Anna also made a lot of nice pictures of my puppy with the toys and the ball. I highly recommend Anna for puppy care. Thank you Anna!
Sjofn is always excited to get to see Guilherme! I’m always thrilled to know she is safe and happy. Guilherme is also great about communicating before and during her stay so I know exactly when to expect him and he’s great about picking her up to. To put my mind at ease he sends plenty of pictures of her having a good time. I admit as a service dog she can be a bit nervous about being left with other people but she is never nervous about staying with Guilherme and Edina. I highly recommend him for any care your pet needs
