About: I’m a PhD student and proud dog mom who’s grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life—it’s something that brings me real joy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll treat your dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I tend to work during the day but love spending my mornings and evenings with pets. Advance notice helps me make sure I’m fully available. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly environment with my own well-behaved pup who enjoys having company. I don’t have room for boarding at the moment, but I’d love to help with walks or drop-in visits.

About: I’m a full-time stay-at-home dog owner, so your dog will never be left alone and will receive plenty of attention throughout the day. I have experience caring for medium and large breeds, including my own 1.5 years old German Shepherd mix who is sweat, friendly, playful, and well socialized with other dogs. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment where dogs can relax, play, and enjoy regular outdoor walks. I’m comfortable handling energetic dogs and understand the importance of routine, exercise, and supervision. I’m happy to follow each dog’s individual care instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, crate routines, and special needs. I also provide regular photo updates so owners can feel relaxed while they are away. I’m bilingual in English and Chinese, so I’m happy to communicate with pet owners in either language. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home. I stay home most of the day, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Dogs receive regular supervision, playtime, and attention throughout the day. A typical day includes a morning walk, outdoor playtime or neighborhood walks in the afternoon or evening. Dogs also have plenty of time to relax indoors in a calm and safe home environment. Because I am home full-time, I can maintain each dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and rest time. My friendly German Shepherd mix also enjoys having playmates, so visiting dogs often get both companionship and exercise. I only host no more than 2 dogs at a time to make sure each dog receives plenty of care and attention. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home where dogs are always supervised. Because I stay home most of the day, pets are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care. My home also has a secure fenced yard, which allows dogs to enjoy safe outdoor playtime and fresh air throughout the day. I always supervise outdoor time to ensure dogs remain safe and comfortable. I introduce new dogs slowly and carefully to make sure everyone feels comfortable. My friendly German Shepherd mix enjoys having playmates, and I carefully monitor all interactions to ensure safe and positive play. Dogs also have comfortable indoor spaces to rest and relax. I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, crate routines, medication if needed, and any special preferences. I send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care and support Hyojae provided to both Juneau and our family at a trying time. Exceptionally accommodating, engaging, and flexible to help keep our puppy occupied while we attended to our son’s health! Definitely 5⭐️+”

“Simply the best, Luna loved her time with Rhea! Rhea was very attentive to Luna's needs. Rhea was an amazing communicator and shared photos of Luna throughout the day. Another big plus qith Rhea was her flexibilty to accomodate my timeline with a rather early drop off. Will definitely use Rhea in the future, thanks so much!”
“Sarai is an absolutely fantastic dogsitter! She was so kind, understanding, and patient with our pup, and she truly went above and beyond to make our pup feel at home. Thanks a million, Sarai!”

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a UC Berkeley grad and licensed veterinary technician who works in emergency and critical care. I've worked and cared for dogs and cats (and certain exotics/pocket pets) almost my entire life! Compassion, reading your pet's body language, and respecting your care instructions are of the upmost importance to me! For walks, big and small dogs are welcome! I am experienced with reactive pups and am comfortable doing structured walks as well to help reinforce any training you and your dog have been working on. I am very vigilant on walks and will ensure your pup's safety and comfort. You will always receive a very detailed report card from me and cute pictures! For drop-in visits, respect for your home and your pet and are top priority! I follow instructions very closely and welcome any information you have about your fur baby that can make their time with me the most fun and efficient. For doggy daycare, we have a secured fenced yard for supervised playtime. We have a doggy gate in case any of the pups need to decompress but your dog will always have the large kitchen/living room space. We have two ~40lb dogs that will be slowly introduced with your pup and our home will only have 4 dogs maximum at one time. I'm very comfortable giving oral and injectable medications/ fluids if necessary. Please reach out for medical drop-ins for my rates! Any questions? Want to set up a meet and greet? Send a message! I am working per Diem at the moment and otherwise spend my time working remotely! For house sitting, I will be with your pet for the majority of the day :) I am very detail oriented and not afraid of communication! It is important to me that you trust your baby is in good hands as well as my respect for your own pet’s personal boundaries.
“Angela and Kangwoong are real dog lovers. Xico came back home very alert and excited. It is wonderful to have a family with kids share their precious time with Xico.”

“Isabel has been amazing to our dog, Juno. She has been thoroughly enjoying her walks and time with Isabel and the other dogs. Juno always comes back home feeling happy and eagerly waiting to go for her next excursion with the pack. It’s a relief knowing Isabel takes such good care of our fur baby. Highly recommended!”

“This was our first time leaving our Golden Retriever, Honey, with a Rover sitter and Lucie made the experience so amazing! She was great with communication and did a great job ensuring Honey had a positive experience in the new environment. Will definitely be booking with Lucie again in the future!”

About: We live in the Green Gables area of Palo Alto in a large single family home. We have the world's friendliest 9-year old female yellow lab, Daizy, and a fenced in back yard. We take multiple walks per day in the neighborhood and if desired, we can go to nearby off leash areas as well. We're on Rover mainly because of our love of dogs and so our kids will have a part-time job. They will send you photo updates 2X a day. Free daily face time upon request and unlimited play time with Daizy. Your dog's exclusive care team consists of me (I work from home), my seventeen year old son Ryan (feeder and poop collector) and my fifteen year old son, Brandon (photographer and hugger), both are straight A students at Palo Alto HS. My wife Wendy is a realtor and works from home; she will pitch in with a complementary brushing, general supervision, and lots of kisses. Daizy will be the chief exercise and play partner with as much running around in the back yard as your dog desires. I love dogs and have had dogs in my life since the 1980s and worked at a pet store in high school. While I will be supervising your pup during the entire stay, most the actual work will be performed by Ryan and Brandon so most of the money goes to them which they use for toys, going out with friends, and excursions. Our dog Daizy is a very happy dog she is always wiling to play and have fun. If she ever gets threatened she will submit and avoid conflict. We also have central air conditioning. The dog can sleep with Ryan and Daizy in Ryan's or Brandon's room. Routine is morning feed, morning bathroom break, lunch, lunch play time, afternoon exercise walk, and evening chillaxing on the couch listening to relaxing acoustic music or watching a movie together. We only host one dog at a time so your doggo will get tons of VIP treatment like royalty. On the last day before pickup, we'll give your pooch a final brushing followed by a nice refreshing wipe down using hypoallergenic wet wipes infused with oatmeal, aloe vera, and baking soda. We already do a similar routine for Daizy so your dog will fit in nicely into our typical schedule. Depending on your preference, we can also shorten or lengthen neighborhood walks. Fenced in yard, Ring cameras indoor and outdoor with alarms and fire, carbon monoxide, and burglar professional 24/7 monitoring. Central air conditioning and central heating.
“Teilyn was great about watching my dog who has had some health issues and had a number of restrictions to be mindful of. My pup got along well with theirs and had a nice calm day which is what she needed.”

About: Hi, I'm Kathryn! I’m an experienced, compassionate pet sitter offering personalized care, daily dog walks, and overnight stays. I work from home full-time as a journalist, which means your pup will have constant companionship, plenty of belly rubs, and lots of love. My passion for animals runs deep—I grew up at my mom’s dog daycare, where I was immersed in dog behavior training and care from an early age. We had labs growing up, and some of my favorite memories are of taking them on long adventures in the woods. These days, my partner and I share our home with our sweet shepherd mix, Ozzy. I’ve spent the last eight years caring for dogs while I lived all over the country. This is my first time on Rover, and I’m excited to build meaningful relationships with both pets and their people. I believe pet care should be accessible—not overpriced—so I strive to offer affordable, high-quality service that gives you peace of mind. We live in a beautiful, pet-friendly apartment with a secure back courtyard and quick access to local parks for playtime and walks. Your pet will be treated like family—safe, loved, and happy while you're away. For boarding and daycare requests, I will be joined by my own dog Ozzy. If your dog prefers not to be around a young dog, then it may not be a fit. Looking forward to connecting! As a journalist who works from home, I’m lucky to have a flexible schedule—and I love using it to give animals the attention, care, and fun they deserve. With tenderness, love, and dedicated attention, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I can’t wait to meet your wonderful companion and make them feel right at home!
“Jesse & Kimmy made Honor feel right at home. They sent lots of updates and we really couldn't have had a better experience. We will definitely be booking with them again.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, all in a family of 5 siblings. I’ve worked alongside vets internationally for a non profit. My care for animals matches my care for others—I strive to treat everyone and everything the way I’d expect to be treated. I work from home in a spacious home with a fenced yard, so I’m readily able to accommodate a pup’s needs be it a walk or fetch. I have a fenced yard and roomy interior. My parents are both in medicine and this rubbed off on me as a lifeguard and later a wilderness first responder. Though I know first response, I’ve since hung up the gloves for life on the keyboard

Boba had a wonderful time at daycare and made some great doggy friends. Manli is a very caring and attentive dog sitter who clearly loves what she does. We felt very comfortable leaving Boba in her care. We will definitely come back again the next time we need a sitter!

Sjofn is always excited to get to see Guilherme! I’m always thrilled to know she is safe and happy. Guilherme is also great about communicating before and during her stay so I know exactly when to expect him and he’s great about picking her up to. To put my mind at ease he sends plenty of pictures of her having a good time. I admit as a service dog she can be a bit nervous about being left with other people but she is never nervous about staying with Guilherme and Edina. I highly recommend him for any care your pet needs

Tillana was an amazing dog sitter for Milo! While we were away, she sent frequent updates and adorable photos, which truly made our day and reassured us that Milo was happy, safe, and well cared for. She followed his routine perfectly and gave him plenty of attention and affection. We picked up a relaxed, happy Milo. We will absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Ali was amazing and took excellent care of our dog, Pepper. He was very patient, attentive, and clearly experienced, which gave us great peace of mind. Ali kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was obvious that Pepper felt comfortable and happy in his care. We truly appreciated his reliability and kindness, and we would absolutely trust him again and highly recommend him
