About: Hi! My name is Teilyn, and I recently moved to the Barron Park neighborhood with my wife. We both grew up with dogs and are comfortable with all types of canines, but we are especially good with older dogs! We have 2 Chinese Crested senior dogs - Gonzo and Gidget. They are very friendly, great with other dogs, and spend their days on their heated couch and favorite sun spots in our backyard. Our yard is very large and fenced. I work from home and have a ton of flexibility with my job, so I am available for all types of care (walks, trips to dog parks, attentive belly rubbing and playing outside in the backyard, etc). I’m very responsible, attentive, and great with animals. I’m available to dog sit during the day while you're at work, overnight if you're out of town, dog walk, or really anything you need! Dog sitting (either during the day or overnight multiple days) will need to be in my home. Happy to provide additional details about the space if you need! I work fully remote and am home everyday. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can work around yours. I spend my day working in my home office, going on walks, and spending time in my backyard. I have a fenced backyard (very large) and spend a lot of time out there on sunny days with my two not-so-furry-fur babies (they are mostly hairless). I'm always available via text / phone calls and can provide any special care needed for your dogs. I am very accustomed to unique care for senior dogs - from ear medication to eye care to sunscreen (yes my dogs actually need sunscreen) - I am fully comfortable with providing extra support & care if needed.
“Bilbo had a great time at doggy day care with Edward and Elisha! They have a large backyard for the dogs to play and hang out. Bilbo got along well with their dogs Rusty and Ruby. They sent many photos so I know that Bilbo was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely bring Bilbo back. Highly recommend Edward and Elisha!”

“Angela and Kangwoong are real dog lovers. Xico came back home very alert and excited. It is wonderful to have a family with kids share their precious time with Xico.”

About: I’m a dog-loving neighbor and Bernedoodle parent who enjoys caring for pups like family. I work from home and live in a cozy house with a fenced backyard, near plenty of green spaces and school fields for walks. My middle school kids and friendly Bernedoodle love having dog guests around—we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and right at home! I work from home, so I’m around all day to keep your pup company. Our routine usually includes morning and evening walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks, giving the dogs plenty of exercise and sniff time. During the day, they hang out with me in the house or relax in our fenced backyard—napping, playing, or just keeping me company while I work. It’s a calm, happy environment with lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. Our home is a single-family house with a securely fenced backyard where dogs can play safely under supervision. Indoors, dogs are welcome to roam freely, nap on comfy spots, and be part of our daily life. I take time to understand each dog’s needs and routine—whether it’s feeding schedule, favorite toys, or quiet time preferences—so they can settle in smoothly. I also keep a close eye on playtime to make sure all dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. With my friendly Bernedoodle and caring middle-school kids, your pup will be surrounded by gentle company, calm energy, and plenty of affection. You can trust that they’ll be cared for just like one of our own.
“Thank you Kimberly for taking care of Basil! Kimberly was quick to respond, asked questions and sent lots of updates. Basil enjoyed her walks with Kimberly and I appreciated peace of mind knowing that my dog was being tended to while I was at work.”

About: We live in the Green Gables area of Palo Alto in a large single family home. We have the world's friendliest 9-year old female yellow lab, Daizy, and a fenced in back yard. We take multiple walks per day in the neighborhood and if desired, we can go to nearby off leash areas as well. We're on Rover mainly because of our love of dogs and so our kids will have a part-time job. They will send you photo updates 2X a day. Free daily face time upon request and unlimited play time with Daizy. Your dog's exclusive care team consists of me (I work from home), my seventeen year old son Ryan (feeder and poop collector) and my fifteen year old son, Brandon (photographer and hugger), both are straight A students at Palo Alto HS. My wife Wendy is a realtor and works from home; she will pitch in with a complementary brushing, general supervision, and lots of kisses. Daizy will be the chief exercise and play partner with as much running around in the back yard as your dog desires. I love dogs and have had dogs in my life since the 1980s and worked at a pet store in high school. While I will be supervising your pup during the entire stay, most the actual work will be performed by Ryan and Brandon so most of the money goes to them which they use for toys, going out with friends, and excursions. Our dog Daizy is a very happy dog she is always wiling to play and have fun. If she ever gets threatened she will submit and avoid conflict. We also have central air conditioning. The dog can sleep with Ryan and Daizy in Ryan's or Brandon's room. Routine is morning feed, morning bathroom break, lunch, lunch play time, afternoon exercise walk, and evening chillaxing on the couch listening to relaxing acoustic music or watching a movie together. We only host one dog at a time so your doggo will get tons of VIP treatment like royalty. On the last day before pickup, we'll give your pooch a final brushing followed by a nice refreshing wipe down using hypoallergenic wet wipes infused with oatmeal, aloe vera, and baking soda. We already do a similar routine for Daizy so your dog will fit in nicely into our typical schedule. Depending on your preference, we can also shorten or lengthen neighborhood walks. Fenced in yard, Ring cameras indoor and outdoor with alarms and fire, carbon monoxide, and burglar professional 24/7 monitoring. Central air conditioning and central heating.
About: I’m a PhD student and proud dog mom who’s grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life—it’s something that brings me real joy. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll treat your dog with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. I tend to work during the day but love spending my mornings and evenings with pets. Advance notice helps me make sure I’m fully available. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly environment with my own well-behaved pup who enjoys having company. I don’t have room for boarding at the moment, but I’d love to help with walks or drop-in visits.
“Jessica was fantastic with Ollie! She took great care of him even though he wasn’t feeling well and had intricate care instructions. She is very punctual and communicative. Would definitely book with her again!”

“Best sitter we've ever encountered for our dog with many needs for her happiness. Well she came home so happy and better yet tired from all the walks which takes a lot. He kept sending us photos of her so we knew she was having a great time. He really understood our dog for not only the needs but her wants. So lucky to have found him.”
“We had a wonderful experience. They took such good care of my dog—very attentive, patient, and loving. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Otto looked happy, well-exercised, and completely comfortable when I picked him up. I would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Silvana took incredible care of my very anxious dog. He typically has separation anxiety and takes a while to get use to a new place, but she made him feel comfortable right away. She took him on walks, took him to the park to play with another dog he felt comfortable with, and made sure I was updated throughout the day with pictures and videos. When I went to pick him up he gave her kisses goodbye :) We absolutely will re-book with Silvana. Thank you, Silvana, for taking such great care of Jackson!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care and support Hyojae provided to both Juneau and our family at a trying time. Exceptionally accommodating, engaging, and flexible to help keep our puppy occupied while we attended to our son’s health! Definitely 5⭐️+”

About: Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a UC Berkeley graduate and licensed veterinary technician who specializes in emergency and critical care medicine. I've worked and cared for dogs and cats (and certain exotics/pocket pets) almost my entire life! Compassion, reading your pet's body language, and respecting your care instructions are of the upmost importance to me! I'm very comfortable giving oral and injectable medications/ fluids if necessary. Please reach out for medical drop-ins for my rates! For walks, big and small dogs are welcome! I’m experienced with tough walkers too. Just give me a heads up for what I should look out for! I also love jogging with dogs so let me know if you’d like that! I am very vigilant on walks and will ensure that your pup's safety and comfort is number one. You will receive a very detailed report card from me and cute pictures! For drop-in visits, respect for your home and your pet and are top priority! I follow instructions very closely and welcome any information you have about your fur baby that can make their time with me the most fun and efficient. For doggy daycare, we have a secured fenced yard for supervised playtime. Your dog will get a walk around our neighborhood unless otherwise specified! We have a doggy gate in case any of the pups need to decompress but your dog will always have the large kitchen/living room space. We have two ~40lb dogs that will be slowly introduced with your pup and our home will only have 4 dogs maximum at one time so that no dogs are overstimulated. I work from home more often nowadays and will only be away for a maximum of 2-3 hours during the day! Any questions? Want to set up a meet and greet? Send a message! I am working per Diem at the moment and otherwise spend my time working remotely! For house sitting, I will be with your pet for the majority of the day :) I am very detail oriented and not afraid of communication! It is important to me that you trust your baby is in good hands as well as my respect for your own pet’s personal boundaries.

I have a shitzu of my own and enjoy caring for dogs, frequently watching and checking in on my friends' pets. I am open to traveling to care for your dogs' needs.
“Kevin and Sarah were absolutely fabulous! They had Milo over for 2 days for day care, and both days Milo was a happy, content pup. The best part was that Milo was in a state of joyful exhaustion from playing with his new buddy Kona. Kevin and Sarah were so thoughtful and constantly made sure Milo was comfortable with his surroundings, and kept us updated with plenty of pictures & videos. We will definitely be back - says Milo!”

Ventura dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ali was amazing and took excellent care of our dog, Pepper. He was very patient, attentive, and clearly experienced, which gave us great peace of mind. Ali kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was obvious that Pepper felt comfortable and happy in his care. We truly appreciated his reliability and kindness, and we would absolutely trust him again and highly recommend him

Sjofn and I think Guilherme and his wife are fantastic! They watched my service dog while I was in surgery that went way longer then Sjofn is used to but they kept her happy cuddled and comfortable so when they brought her to me she was thrilled but not at all stressed. Sjofn absolutely adores Guilherme and I know she is safe and well cared for every time he watches her.

Leticia was wonderful and took great care of our pup Sofia. She has a gentle, kind way about her, and Sofia was calm when we retrieved her. We were also so appreciative that she was able to accommodate us on late notice. She kept us up-to-date with descriptive photos, and when we arrived to pick up our pup, she was sitting calmly by Leticia’s side and waited to come to us until Leticia released her when it was safe to do so. We read only after pickup that she was also a trainer which was evident. We would be very happy to use Leticia again!
