About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. I am eager to help other dogs learn this skill as well! I am working locums, so I am gone for 4 days twice a month and otherwise home and available the rest of the month. Open for walks and visits all day! If your dog is open to a play date, I have a very friendly, high-energy dog that would love to get his zoomies out with your pup. Open to going for long walks or nearby fenced-in dog parks.

About: We’re an engaged couple living in East Palo Alto and looking for more opportunities to spend quality time with animals! We’ve been trusted dog and cat sitters for friends and family for years, and recently decided to give Rover a try. We’d love to provide your pet with extra love, attention, and care while you’re away or taking some time for yourself. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🥰 One of our favorite things to do is go on walks together. We always joke and say we’re meant to have a pet, and we’re sure we will have our own one day. We walk daily during our lunch breaks and each evening after work. We’d love to take your pet with us! We live in a house with a private fenced backyard. We have no pets or kids in our house and we plan to take care of one pet/family at a time so we can give them our full attention and make sure they are as comfortable as can be.

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.

About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. I am very comfortable around dogs and want your dog to be happy. I am very clean and want to be considerate of your space.

About: I will happily drop by and spend quality time with your dog/cat/animal friends or they're more than welcome to stay with me in my apartment! I believe in enrichment and making your absence a calm, fun day experience for your fur baby. I’m also happily available for multiple drop in visits per day. I know some people just like multiple drop-ins. Please reach out to discuss special pricing for 2-3 drop-ins per day, plus play time and/or walks. (There are also periods when boarding and day care are set to away but I may be able to accommodate your needs.) I’m a total cat whisperer, dogs bring me joy, I can nurture rabbits, hamsters, fish, you name it. Happy to discuss your pets needs. I’m working partially remotely on a project so I’ve loads of time to care for your pet. Happy to keep your pets feeding and playtime schedule. I do have to zip to the office some but lately it’s been a couple of hours in the afternoon and I’ve taken one of my sits with me and he had the best time. I have a ground floor apartment with a fenced patio. I live in a good dog walking neighborhood. For in-home sitting: I’m mature, experienced, can do meds, and will completely respect your home.

She took him on walks, took him to the park to play with another dog he felt comfortable with, and made sure I was updated throughout the day with pictures and videos.
