About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who had just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. I've helped take care of my parents dog for 8 years since she was a puppy and I take her to the beach, for walks, to play at the dog park, and bathe her regularly. I work until 3pm so I have plenty of time in the afternoon to take pups out for walks. I love meeting new dogs and am used to high energy dogs. “Tillana is awesome. She totally put our minds at ease with her loving rapport with Louie, our 3 year old Golden Retriever, who had never been away from us other than briefly for grooming. She took him to a fenced-in park for exercise where he played with some new K-9 buddies. She texted me periodically with pictures and updates, including ones of her cuddling with Louie, which was most appreciated. Her yard is fenced, too, so it provided for ample space at her home for Louie to play and do his business. Indeed, Louie will be returning to her care in a few days and whenever we are on the San Francisco Peninsula.”
About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
About: I started taking care of pets since I was in college. I feed homeless cats and dogs and contact shelters for them. In addition, when sitting dogs and cats, I like talking to these furry friends and I find most of them can understand me! I find most furry babies feel safe and calm when I compliment them in gentle tones and give them warm smiles. Their happiness is my happiness! I work from home so I am available to sit dogs and cats usually full day from Monday to Saturday. Ideally we hope to pick them up before 10 am or after 10:30 am since I usually have meetings at 10 am every weekday. I prefer pets being dropped off at my place and I will make sure they have clean water, fresh food, potty break every 2.5 hours! I will play with them in the yard or in my apartment when they feel playful.

About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. About: We have a standard poodle Joki - who joined us in 2020 from a breeder. Joki is well trained and behave very well with other animals and people. I’m currently work from home so I am able to take care of pers all day during the day and provide multiple potty breaks as need. We have fenced front and back yard available for dogs to play and break. We can offer a fence if two dogs need to be kept separate.

Five stars for Raina! This 10 year old has a remarkable gift for animal care. She and her father Mel provided excellent care for our dog Rani over the weekend. What stood out most was Raina’s genuine passion for dogs and her sensitive, attentive approach. Rani returned home calm and happy, and was eager to see Raina and Mel the very next weekend. That level of comfort and trust is best environment we would have asked for. Raina’s caring nature and natural ability with animals make her an outstanding dog sitter. Super sweet family! Our dog was raised with a toddler so it was nice to have kids for her to be with since we don't have any of our own. Normally our dog is nervous about new places. She ran into the house like it was her own. Angela was patient with me being this was our very 1st Rover experience. I had a lot of issues with the website. Kangwoong took care of JuJu as soon as she rushed through the door to play with their daughter. The updates were timely as if Angela could tell when I was missing our little pup. And the whole family came to say goodbye when it was time to leave. Small gestures that mean a lot! She must have had a good day as she slept on the ride home & passed out a little before her usual bedtime in a deep sleep. This morning she woke up on her back stretched out basically saying, "I am living a good life!" She seemed very happy with her stay & she was the right amount of tired. This was the first time my little Havanese stayed with someone on Rover and she warmed up nicely to the hospitable environment with Stacey, her adult daughter and the other friendly little dogs. I was nervous leaving my sweet but fearful GSD with anyone. Ying was very comfortable with Anderson. She sent me many updates, pictures and videos. Anderson played well with her GSD and Anderson slept for at least 90 minutes after we picked him up. He is an adolescent with a ton of energy so that was great! He’s going to be so excited to see Ying and Charlie again!
Here’s a polished version you could send or post: I honestly couldn’t have raised Miguel without Olga. She has been a huge part of his life since he was a puppy, and there is no one I trust more to care for him. Knowing he was with someone who genuinely loved him and treated him like family gave me complete peace of mind. As I prepare to leave California, one of the hardest goodbyes will be saying goodbye to Olga. Miguel is going to miss his time with her and all of his pup friends, and I’m going to miss knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. Finding someone trustworthy to care for your dog is incredibly difficult these days, but Olga is truly one of a kind. She is reliable, compassionate, attentive, and treats every dog as if they were her own. If you’re looking for an amazing dog sitter, I cannot recommend her highly enough. Bilbo had a great time at doggy day care with Jesse and Kimmy! They have a nice yard for the dogs to play and hang out. Bilbo got along well with their dog Tycho. They sent lots of photos so I know that Bilbo was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely bring Bilbo back. Highly recommend Jesse and Kimmy!
Teilyn and her wife are absolutely wonderful sweet people and I was so happy to find them on Rover. They have such a lovely backyard area for pups and were great with my 5 month old husky puppy, Yermo. And their two little Chinese Cresteds are awesome! Yermo came home absolutely wiped out (a godsend) and I got check-ins and photos of him helping with gardening and also out at his first protest (so proud). Really thankful for the new experiences and socialization for my puppy and to find great pup sitters.
Sjofn is always excited to get to see Guilherme! I’m always thrilled to know she is safe and happy. Guilherme is also great about communicating before and during her stay so I know exactly when to expect him and he’s great about picking her up to. To put my mind at ease he sends plenty of pictures of her having a good time. I admit as a service dog she can be a bit nervous about being left with other people but she is never nervous about staying with Guilherme and Edina. I highly recommend him for any care your pet needs
