About: I’m a student looking to help out with some local pet care and housesitting while I'm home for the summer. I’m vegan and I genuinely love animals and have a lot of flexibility with my schedule right now, so I'm around to keep your pets company, stick to their regular routines, and make sure everything is taken care of. “Nina and Leo are the sweetest hosts! They were very responsive right from the first message that I sent them. They were quick to respond and schedule a meet&greet. I really liked how they made a note of everything in writing when we were discussing Salt's schedule, likes, dislikes, preferences etc. These little things show experience and professionalism. I received regular updates during Salt's two-day stay and those messages really put me at ease, since we all know how hard it is to leave your baby behind. Salt received a massage, treats, outing to a shopping center and a long walk at Pacific Shore Centre! It was so heart-warming to see my baby taken care of so lovingly by these two amazing people who truly love and care about your pet and who are well-experienced with pets for several years. It made me smile every time I received an update and photos from them and it made me feel so much better about having to leave him behind, knowing that he was being pampered and taken care of, while I was out of town on a holiday. About: I spent time as a SPCA cat socializer with perfectly healthy kitties and some with significant health needs. We were expected to keep them company whether energetic kitten, disconnected and scared cat or even sick cats being treated. I’d play with the ones that wanted to play, sit with the shy ones and learn how to properly read their behavior and respond appropriately to get them more comfortable with humans. I raised my own cat who was a pretty easy going one from the get go. But my training and experience as a socializer helped me navigate ways to best support my other two kitties’ needs, and friends’ kitties’ needs more adeptly. About: I live with my wife, baby girl, cat, and dog in Palo Alto. At home, I am the CPO (chief poop officer). I've experience with administering flea medicine for cats and dogs. I make sure the pets have food and water. I've trained my current and past dogs (sit, stay, go home, come, leave it, look at me, and other commands). I am responsible and clean up after the animals whether it's poop or vomit. Furry animals make me happy. I'm extroverted, so I am also social and easy to communicate with. I can care for your pet as long as I'm available. I've a flexible work schedule, and am on holiday for two weeks starting the week of Christmas. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.

About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. About: I started taking care of pets since I was in college. I feed homeless cats and dogs and contact shelters for them. In addition, when sitting dogs and cats, I like talking to these furry friends and I find most of them can understand me! I find most furry babies feel safe and calm when I compliment them in gentle tones and give them warm smiles. Their happiness is my happiness! I work from home so I am available to sit dogs and cats usually full day from Monday to Saturday. Ideally we hope to pick them up before 10 am or after 10:30 am since I usually have meetings at 10 am every weekday. About: We have a standard poodle Joki - who joined us in 2020 from a breeder. Joki is well trained and behave very well with other animals and people. I’m currently work from home so I am able to take care of pers all day during the day and provide multiple potty breaks as need. About: I grew up with dogs and hamsters as a kid, but my love for animals didn’t end there. I raised and trained two dogs from puppies to adult. I volunteered at the SPCA socializing cats. About: I've been a large dog owner for most of my life, but I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Ready to meet the unique needs of every pup, and I come with some basic pet training experience. While I'm here for the summer (May-July), I have complete flexibility throughout the week and weekend. I have no qualms taking them out early in the morning or later at night (around 7AM-10PM depending on the location). Although I'm based in Palo Alto, I am more than willing to cycle or drive to locations throughout the peninsula! I'm most experienced offering the basic services of walks (usually several a day, can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the dog), feeding, and playing in the yard or at the dog park. I'm also comfortable with basic training, washing, and watching them overnight. While I wouldn't be able to bring any dogs to my own home, I am more than happy to house sit and stay with them overnight.
About: I am taking a break from work and have the time to house sit and check in as well as board. I have done Rover for a few years now and have worked at dog boarding facilities. I am able to walk your fur babies in the morning and in the evening. I have experience with medication and injections for whom are needed. I have a cat and dog that likes to run out of the door, so I am careful when going in and out of the house. I'd do the same for you. I make sure they've food and water. If the dog goes on a hike where there are tall grass, then I'd check for ticks after the walk and use a tweezer to remove the tick if needed. If the cat or dog has its tail between its legs, then I'd approach slowly and walk around them to not make them too uncomfortable. If the cat's tail is up and approaches, then I give him/her a scratch on the head or chin. If dog's tail is wagging, then I'd definitely pet him/her. If the pet has dietary restrictions, then I will follow the owner's dietary guideline.
About: My son Lee (he was 9 years old at that time) and I trained at the SPCA San Francisco and we volunteer and fostered in our home an injured abandoned dog “Paco”, who had a hip surgery. It was a rewarding experience for both of us, it was an amazing feeling being able to care for Paco & a successful story, Paco was adopted by my brother. About: I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers my whole life and got my very first puppy when I was 15. More recently, I brought home a French Bulldog, and it’s been such a joy watching him grow from a tiny puppy into the sweet, fun 1-year-old he is now! Having pets has always been a big part of my life, and I truly love caring for them I work from home so I am usually pretty available! I do have a lot of virtual calls so I cannot usually do last minute walks but can plan around my day! I am completely free after 3:30 PM everyday. About: I love taking care of dogs! I've grown up with dogs my whole life (1 Maltipoo, 2 Shih-Tzus, 1 Aussie Doodle, and 1 Poodle), each of which has had a distinct personality. I received regular updates during Salt's two-day stay and those messages really put me at ease, since we all know how hard it is to leave your baby behind. Salt received a massage, treats, outing to a shopping center and a long walk at Pacific Shore Centre! About: I've taken care of small dogs and large dogs since I was in middle school. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them lots of hugs and pets, and taking them on excursions, whether it be to the dog park, beach, or a scenic hiking trail. I work part-time from home so I am able to spend lots of time with the fur babies in my care. I love to take them out for fresh air and exercise, and give them lots of love, pets, and attention. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate each dog’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, regular potty breaks, or sticking closely to their usual schedule. If your pup is used to a 7am walk, I’m more than happy to start the day early to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment that helps every dog feel at ease, whether they’re in my home or their own. In my home, I have a private, fenced backyard that’s only accessible through my apartment, so your dog can safely enjoy fresh air. It’s partially covered as well, providing some protection from rain. Inside, I keep my space clean and dog-friendly, with cushioned area rugs to prevent slipping and give dogs a comfortable place to walk, play, or relax. I also provide cozy blankets and an outdoor dog bed so they have options for resting wherever they feel most comfortable. Cleanliness and routine are very important to me—I wash food bowls after each use and refresh water bowls daily. Dogs are welcome on my furniture, but I always respect and follow your home rules to maintain consistency. If your dog isn’t allowed on furniture, I will reinforce those same boundaries. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and attentive to instructions. I carefully follow all provided routines, house rules, and notes to ensure your dog experiences as much consistency and comfort as possible while you’re away.
