She sent me extensive updates three times per day with numerous photos and videos. The detailed information allowed me to see that my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Ying’s dog Charlie is also incredibly gentle and calm, and although my dog is often anxious around other dogs, they became great friends. While I was away, my dog also developed some irritation in her paws, likely due to pre-existing allergies. Ying informed me promptly and treated the problem effectively per my instructions, and her paws were completely healed by the time I returned to pick her up. I highly recommend Ying for boarding and I won’t hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.”

“Finding Margaret was a god send! We have a reactive dog who isn't always friendly and finding people who can handle a dog like that is not always easy. After searching through hundreds of Rover profiles I finally found Margaret and I'm so glad I did! We had a lovely phone chat about Max and his behaviors as well as the style of training/handling we prefer (she is familiar with and willing to work with all sorts of styles). After our chat we setup a meet and greet and Max did so well with her from the get go - not even a peep out of him when they met! He quickly bonded with her and was more than happy to work with her right off the bat. She even had him meet some of her dogs (which he handled well too!). It was clear Margaret knew exactly what she was doing and had the confidence to put Max (and me!) at ease. After the meet and greet we setup an overnight boarding session to really see how Max would do - and it went so well! About: I’m an experienced dog sitter who just relocated from San Francisco. I regularly watched a dog 3 times a week and can take up to 2 dogs at once. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. About: Living in Stanford, my Jack Russell, Chuy, and I love taking full advantage of the local parks for daily runs and outdoor fun! At my home, your pup will enjoy complete freedom—whether that means diving into a giant basket of toys or curling up for a relaxing nap on the sofa or a plush dog bed. Having grown up around animals, caring for pets is second nature to me. I treat every guest like family, ensuring a safe, fun, and comfortable environment tailored to your dog’s unique personality. I'm currently on a sabbatical and so I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets, go on long walks or house sit. My current apartment has a fenced in yard with parks near by for long walks or runs. Pets are also allowed to to go on the couch for cuddles.

“Ying provided a fantastic boarding experience for 16 days for my dog. She took my dog for at least two walks per day, played fetch with her every day, and also took her on a longer hike. She sent me extensive updates three times per day with numerous photos and videos. The detailed information allowed me to see that my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Ying’s dog Charlie is also incredibly gentle and calm, and although my dog is often anxious around other dogs, they became great friends. While I was away, my dog also developed some irritation in her paws, likely due to pre-existing allergies. Ying informed me promptly and treated the problem effectively per my instructions, and her paws were completely healed by the time I returned to pick her up. I highly recommend Ying for boarding and I won’t hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.”

“Finding Margaret was a god send! We have a reactive dog who isn't always friendly and finding people who can handle a dog like that is not always easy. After searching through hundreds of Rover profiles I finally found Margaret and I'm so glad I did! We had a lovely phone chat about Max and his behaviors as well as the style of training/handling we prefer (she is familiar with and willing to work with all sorts of styles). After our chat we setup a meet and greet and Max did so well with her from the get go - not even a peep out of him when they met! He quickly bonded with her and was more than happy to work with her right off the bat. She even had him meet some of her dogs (which he handled well too!). It was clear Margaret knew exactly what she was doing and had the confidence to put Max (and me!) at ease. After the meet and greet we setup an overnight boarding session to really see how Max would do - and it went so well! Margaret was incredibly communicative and gave us updates as she slowly introduced Max to her other dogs, took him on walks, and just generally kept us informed how he was handling his new environment. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly everything went and I felt so comfortable knowing Max was in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Margaret for any sort of "special needs" dogs in a heartbeat! Your dog is in safe and caring hands.”
