“Ying provided a fantastic boarding experience for 16 days for my dog. She took my dog for at least two walks per day, played fetch with her every day, and also took her on a longer hike. She sent me extensive updates three times per day with numerous photos and videos. The detailed information allowed me to see that my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Ying’s dog Charlie is also incredibly gentle and calm, and although my dog is often anxious around other dogs, they became great friends. While I was away, my dog also developed some irritation in her paws, likely due to pre-existing allergies. Ying informed me promptly and treated the problem effectively per my instructions, and her paws were completely healed by the time I returned to pick her up. I highly recommend Ying for boarding and I won’t hesitate to use her again the next time I travel.”

I'd pick up and put your pup in the back of my SUV, drive to a preserve nearby (Foothill Park in Palo Alto, for example), and then drop your pup off. Given I'm semi-retired and work from home on a flexible schedule, pet care can always fit naturally into my whole day — not just the edges of it. Your dog won't be waiting for attention: mornings can start with a long walk/hike or run and midday means play and company rather than an empty house. On the weekends, after school, on holidays, and during summer break, my daughters will shower your pup with love and attention. Safety comes first. We live on a large lot in Los Altos with fully fenced front and back yards, so there's plenty of secure space to play and explore. We're minutes from the foothills, with easy access to great hiking trails, and I have the proper equipment to transport your pup safely. In our home, your dog is treated as part of the family: supervised play, a consistent routine for meals, walks, and rest, and someone home all day, so dogs are never alone. On outings, dogs stay leashed unless you've told me otherwise, and I match the pace and distance to your dog's fitness and the weather, while ensuring your dog is hydrated. I'm happy to follow your routine exactly — feeding, medications, sleeping arrangements, house rules, etc. You'll get regular photo and video updates, so you always know your pup is safe and happy.
