“Kelly took great care of Lucky. He seemed very happy after his time with her and even as we were getting back in the car he went to the end of his leash to get one more look before she left. Highly recommend Kelly!”

“Michael was fantastic! This was our first Rover experience - we usually have a dog sitter - abs everything was great. Our dog had a great time. Michael kindly sent multiple photos every day. We will definitely come back🐶”

“Reina had amazing communication throughout my whole trip. She sent me videos and pictures showing me how well my pup was doing. The pick up and delivery service was amazing. Really made things easy for me. I’ll definitely use her again.”

“once again, a fabulous stay for my pup Jessie. I am completely at ease about her well-being when she is with Jennifer. My only concern is that Jessie won't want to come home with me, as life is so good with Jennifer and her son.”

I have a well-trained, friendly companion dog and a large backyard for plenty of outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I enjoy long walks and trips to the dog park, and I’m happy to provide patient, attentive care, including basic training reinforcement and extra playtime. Reliable, caring, and committed to keeping your pup safe and happy. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I will be able to focus on your pup during their visit! I will be available daily from 9am - 6pm and can offer after hours or overnight if needed. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog of my own for company. My daughter is also an animal lover and loves to give belly rubs!
“Meerim & Saumya were amazing, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They took care of our dog Bailey for 2 weeks and the entire experience was exceptional. It was clear they treated her like family. Meerim & Saumya were attentive, loving, and thoughtful in every aspect of her care. Bailey was comfortable in their home and we received plenty of photos and updates! When she was picked up, Bailey was relaxed, happy, and clearly had a wonderful time, which says everything! I would happily trust them with Bailey again.”

“This was our first time with Mora, so I was a little nervous at first because my dog can be a little nervous at times. Actually, she quickly warmed up and seemed to really enjoy her time there. She took her on a nice trail walk, and the photos showed how happy she was. Thank you for taking such great care of her.”

“Iryna was very kind and accommodating with our puppy’s first boarding experience! Her communication was excellent, with lots of pictures, helping us understand he was doing fine and following up when there were needs or questions. Would highly recommend!”

“Michael is very professional, knows what he does, and Muffin liked him from the first moment they've met. I was receiving regular updates throughout Muffin's stay and was given a comprehensive summary of Muffin's behavior and health at the check-out. Can only recommend.”

“Svetlana was great! Our dog was loved and cared for, and I would not hesitate to leave her again in such good hands. I appreciated the daily updates and pictures of walks, play, and lounging at home. Svetlana was super responsive to all of my questions and was such a nice person to interact with. The overall experience was fantastic.”

I’m so glad we found them — I’d definitely book again!”

“I highly recommend Ying for anyone seeking a reliable and attentive pet sitter. She was incredibly thorough, followed every detailed instruction perfectly, and kept me at ease with regular photos and videos. One of my dogs bonded with her immediately, which is the ultimate endorsement. I couldn't have asked for a more professional or caring experience!”

“Joy was both skillful and easygoing when we left our dog Lila with her and her family. I got photos of Lila snuggling on the sofa, and Joy had a great outdoor space for her dogs and mine to play.”

“My foster dog Baby had a wonderful stay with Tanya and her daughter. Their home is basically doggy heaven, and Baby enjoyed the huge lawn and tons of love and care accordingly. Baby looks forward to her next visit!”

“We have hired many sitters from Rover over the years but Allison was absolutely the best! Wow! Our cat loved her so much, she sent fun photos every day, and kept us updated on how things were going at home. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have taken care of my own cat for the past two years; administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and traveling. In addition, I have fostered bottle-fed kittens and provided around the clock care as they grew old enough to go to loving homes.

“Jordan was outstanding. 10/10 would book with her again. She treated our cat Juniper like her own and was so thoughtful about sharing updates and taking pictures. Little Junebug was happy as a clam when we got back from our trip, her coat was shiny, and her eyes clear. And that is saying a lot since other times we have left her with cat sitters we've returned to find her scrawny and overgroomed from stress. Thank you, Jordan!!!”

“Rachel took a great care of our cat during our long travel! I loved getting daily pictures from her. She also kindly agreed to look after our plants which we’re very thankful about!!”

“Jiwon is very kind and communicative, and I felt that my cat was in good hands with her. She gave concise and thoughtful updates each visit and has a genuine love of animals :-).”

“Meg did such a great job with our senior cat - she was available and enthusiastic to work with us even on a holiday weekend, and we came back to a happy and healthy kitty! Thank you Meg!”

“Michael was amazing. He understood every ask I gave of him, even those that were conditional on what he saw at our house. He made sure to give my cat the full time, and never let her out of his sight while he was with her. I would happily book him again to take care of my cat”

“Sara was so awesome! She was friendly, responsible, and an animal lover. Every time she sends us a report on the cat’s condition and It made us feel comfortable leaving him in her care. We were very satisfied with her service. We will definitely book Sara next time.”

“Jess is awesome! Incredibly attentive, responsive and caring. My kitty is older and needs lots of affection- he didn’t even seem to notice I was gone with Jess coming to care for him. I cannot recommend her highly enough!! Thank you Jess for being such a wonderful cat sitter for Carl!”

“Kimberly was incredibly responsible and communicative. Emmy (my siamese mutt) is an excellent judge of character and when I arrived home she was in excellent spirits, having obviously received a tremendous amount of attention and love. I will absolutely be working with Kimberly again, and I would encourage you to do the same -- she's terrific!”

“Mariana did a wonderful job watching my cat while I was away. Her descriptions of how my cat was doing were spectacular. I felt very comfortable with her watching after the cat.”

“I was very impressed with G.'s visits. My cat is very skittish but when I returned from my trip, she was calm so I think G. did nothing to cause anxiety. In addition, in one of her daily reports, G. pointed out something about the cat's feeding habits. I was aware of this but felt that it was very responsible of G. to notice it after just a couple of days and bring it to my attention. I will be calling G. the next time I have a trip planned. Thank you G. for being so conscientious.”
About: I have loved animals my whole life! A favorite old photo of mine is 2-year-old me hugging my neighbor's baby goat! When I was 8 years old I trained my first puppy how to sit, shake, and walk on a leash. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I cared for pets of friends and neighbors, and also volunteered walking pups at a local animal shelter. My other care experience includes cats, rodents, reptiles and fish! I am primarily available for walks or visits Friday - Sunday with fairly flexible timing! Other schedules may be able to work on a case by case basis. Drop-ins can include cat care (litterbox, feeding, playtime or a lap to sit on) or dog time (feeding, yard time, water checks, etc). Walks can be adjusted to your pet's pace- we can move quickly for maximum steps, or take a slow stroll to smell all the smells!

“John was so kind and attentive with Max everyday during his stay. He was absolutely flexible adapting his apartment for Max big size and all his belongings (litter, scratchers, food containers, carrier, blankets, toys), so Max would have a less stressful stay. John was effectively communicating with us, and always willing to do his best to ensure Max will have a great time and we will know as much as possible about Max’s last updates. We are really thankful with John for taking care of Max, following his food and water routine over the heat wave, for cleaning his eyes and for sending us all the pictures and updates every day, so we will enjoy our short trip knowing Max was safe and happy. Thank you so much John, we’ll see you next time! Blessings from the 3 of us!”

“We have used Renz several different times and he’s always been great! Pepper loves he and his partner and their sweeeeet dog, Whiskey. Renz is very easy to coordinate with, follows all my instructions, troubleshoots intelligently, is skilled in obedience training, and seems to really enjoy learning Pepper’s needs. He has access to a variety of dog parks and trails, including agility structures, so I know Pepper is always going to have fun and be stimulated. Highly recommend!”

“We needed to drop off our puppy for daycare for one day when visiting the Bay Area and found Anna through Rover. She took care of my 10 month old puppy and kept us updated about our puppy through messages and pics. My puppy didn’t eat food that morning so I requested Anna to offer her the food again, she was kind enough to offer and ensure she ate her food. Thanks Anna.”

“Crystal is the best! She is very responsive and informative, and welcomed us warmly. Thank you for taking such good care of Hilo, providing updates, and sending pictures. You've earned our full trust!”

“Best sitter we've ever encountered for our dog with many needs for her happiness. Well she came home so happy and better yet tired from all the walks which takes a lot. He kept sending us photos of her so we knew she was having a great time. He really understood our dog for not only the needs but her wants. So lucky to have found him.”

About: Our family has had a black lab/boxer for over 8 years, and I grew up with dogs in the household. I am active and we love to take our pup on walks, to the park, and play around the family. Would love to extend my care to your dog, as a home away from home or puppy playdate treat. I'm currently a stay at home mom and freelance artist, so available for flexible doggy day care and overnight boarding. Please reach out for initial meet and greet or to schedule. We have a fenced in yard, active middle aged dog who gets along great with all size pups, and a loving home with 3 girls who also love animals.
About: I’m a dog-loving neighbor and Bernedoodle parent who enjoys caring for pups like family. I work from home and live in a cozy house with a fenced backyard, near plenty of green spaces and school fields for walks. My middle school kids and friendly Bernedoodle love having dog guests around—we’ll make sure your pup feels safe, loved, and right at home! I work from home, so I’m around all day to keep your pup company. Our routine usually includes morning and evening walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks, giving the dogs plenty of exercise and sniff time. During the day, they hang out with me in the house or relax in our fenced backyard—napping, playing, or just keeping me company while I work. It’s a calm, happy environment with lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. Our home is a single-family house with a securely fenced backyard where dogs can play safely under supervision. Indoors, dogs are welcome to roam freely, nap on comfy spots, and be part of our daily life. I take time to understand each dog’s needs and routine—whether it’s feeding schedule, favorite toys, or quiet time preferences—so they can settle in smoothly. I also keep a close eye on playtime to make sure all dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. With my friendly Bernedoodle and caring middle-school kids, your pup will be surrounded by gentle company, calm energy, and plenty of affection. You can trust that they’ll be cared for just like one of our own.
“It was Coco’s first day with Edward and Rusty. He seemed to have had a great day playing with his new buddy. He was clearly very comfortable being there. I appreciate all pictures Edward sent throughout the day, and the prompt communication. I’d love to leave Coco with him more often :)”

About: I grew up with the sweetest Shih Tzu in the world named Dak (a small computer chip). And I think my style of pet care came from taking care of him. I was attentive and gave him lots of love. He loved driving in the car with me, actually :) I have been pet sitting for friends and on other platforms for over 5 years in their homes. And I took care of a neighbor's bird way back in high school. For the most part I have specialized in cats and small to medium dogs. I also have a calm spirit that many animals are drawn to. So we can chill together for a long time. In addition, I'm responsible and respectful, caring and considerate not only for pets but also for owner's homes. I am able to communicate well and clearly and can problem solve to resolve any situation which might arise. In short, I have the know-how to be able to feed, entertain, clean up after, and love cats and dogs and their living spaces. And I can communicate well to their parents to keep them safe and happy while mom and dads are away. I currently work part-time teaching English online. I also am writing my doctoral dissertation. This means I am home a lot and very happy to spend lots of time with pets, even at my desk with me or curled up on the sofa. I strictly watch pets in their own homes. Firstly, because I am missionary and I've been staying temporarily in my parents house in North Carolina and now here with my brother in Palo Alto. Secondly, because I think pets are much happier if they can stay in their own homes and in familiar surroundings.
About: Our family consists of my husband and me, along with our 7-year-old Labrador. Over the years, we've raised three rescued dogs and a cat. We have also served as a foster family for guide dogs and as a temporary shelter for rescued Labradors; we truly believe in destiny and love helping animals. Since we work from home, we spend all day with our dog and would love to have other dogs around to keep him company. Since we work from home, you can expect all-day companionship for your dog, whether it's for daycare or boarding. Plus, since we have a dog of our own, your pup is guaranteed to have a blast and be super happy here! We live in a single-story, single-family house with a secure, sturdy fence all around. We like to keep the backdoor open to the backyard, and since we have a dog of our own, our home is absolutely a pet-friendly environment.

“We have booked with Michael several times now. He is so reliable and easy to work with. I have one senior dog and two younger ones. All of them were given enough care and attention. Even one of them enjoyed “hide & seek” right before a walk, Michael didn’t message us immediately (would’ve panicked us because we’d thought he is missing 😂) but followed this little one’s ritual and patiently and playfully guided him downstairs to start the walk. It’s all these small actions from Michael made us dog parents can really be enjoying our trips while left our babies in such a good hand. Thank you!!”

“Courtney is very professional, thoughtful and gentle, with my energetic Golden Retriever. She helped us in an over heat week. She planned routes with shade, and kept a very close eye to the dog during the walks. We will definitely book again!”

“Jordan was phenomenal with our dog! From the initial meet-and-greet to the end of the sit, she was thoroughly professional, dependable, and communicative. She followed all feeding and care instructions to the letter and constantly went above and beyond to make sure our pup felt comfortable, loved, and engaged. The updates and photos she sent gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and could not recommend Jordan highly enough. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

I became vegetarian as a child because of my love for animals, and that value continues to guide both my personal and professional life today. I also worked as a Zookeeper Aide at the Oakland Zoo, where I helped prepare specialized diets and support daily animal care operations in a fast-paced environment. I’m currently completing a Master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University, so I’m especially detail-oriented, responsible, communicative, and reliable. What You Can Expect From Me: -Reliability, reliability, reliability! ☺️ -Regular communication, updates, and photos -Calm, patient handling style -Attention to detailed feeding and care instructions -Lots of affection, play, and individualized attention Previous Experience: -Zookeeper Aide at Oakland Zoo -Behavioral Health worker at a California primate center -Animal care work at research centers -Wildlife rehabilitation and sanctuary volunteer experience -Pet sitting experience with a wide range of pet breeds and personalities -Pet First Aid and CPR certified I'm currently working remotely on my capstone project to finish my Master's degree, which means my schedule is quite flexible to care for your fur babies! I understand that every animal has a different comfort level and personality, so I approach each pet with patience, attentiveness, and respect for their space and routine.
“I hurt my back pretty badly and found Miriam the last minute. She’s super helpful, patient and professional with my energetic Golden Retriever. She picked my dog up every day on time, took him for an awesome walk and cleaned him after (even when it rained). Miriam is very reliable and we would definitely book with her again!”

About: A couple of years ago, I worked for Primal Canine Dog Training as a Kennel Tech and was training to become a dog trainer. As a Kennel Tech., I cared for about 20 dogs a day, all different breeds and sizes. I cleaned their kennel area, feed them, gave them water, took all of them on walks, did agility training through an obstacle course on-site, worked on their basic obedience, showered them, cleaned up any messes they made, and of course, gave them lots of treats, pets, and overall, love. Since I left Primal Canine, I have continued my dog care and training through working with owners like yourself in taking care of their dogs. I have been walking many dogs as well as dog/house sitting. The difference from working at Primal Canine and working as an independent dog caretaker is that I now have the opportunity to develop a stronger and closer bond with each dog I care for since I spend more time with them. I also used to live with two Pomeranian dogs and worked with dogs on film sets, filming them as they "acted" on command. To me, all dogs, no matter how big, are like little children. They need to be loved, respected, played with, strengthened, and guided to do the right actions. I see each dog has its own unique & individual self. In this, I treat each dog different from others and with the same love and respect I'd give for all dogs.
“Maxim did a great job with Paris and Cupcake. They were a bit frightened on the meet and greet and barked, but Maxim was patient and gained their trust. He took them for a walk every visit and fed them homemade dog food. He played with them, giving them extra play time. I would definitely use Maxim again.”

About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10. I've cared for everything from toy breeds to large breeds, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets. Every size and energy level is welcome here, including puppies and senior dogs, and I'm happy to give oral medications on schedule (I don't administer injections). Safety comes first: dogs stay leashed on walks, your instructions get followed to the letter, and I make a point of knowing where the nearest emergency vet is. My afternoons are flexible, which makes me a great fit for midday and after-work walks and drop-in visits. You'll hear from me on every single visit - photos, our GPS-tracked route, distance covered, and notes on how your dog did, because I'd want that same peace of mind. Let's set up a quick Meet & Greet so your pup and I can get acquainted first. My afternoons are flexible, so weekday middays and after-work hours are when I'm most available for walks and drop-in visits, and weekends are wide open. I keep my Rover calendar updated daily and reply to messages within minutes. For regular clients, I'm glad to hold a standing weekly slot on the same days and times each week so your dog's routine stays predictable. Most of my care happens in your home, so respecting your space comes first. Written instructions get followed exactly, doors and gates stay secured, everything is left the way I found it, and your address and entry details are never shared with anyone. On walks, dogs stay leashed the entire time, I stick to routes I know well, bring water on warm days, and check paws and coat afterward. Before the first visit I make sure I have your vet's contact information and the location of the nearest emergency clinic. After every visit you'll get photos and a written recap, so you always know exactly how your dog is doing.

“Kelly took great care of Lucky. He seemed very happy after his time with her and even as we were getting back in the car he went to the end of his leash to get one more look before she left. Highly recommend Kelly!”

“once again, a fabulous stay for my pup Jessie. I am completely at ease about her well-being when she is with Jennifer. My only concern is that Jessie won't want to come home with me, as life is so good with Jennifer and her son.”

“Manli was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Molly. She was flexible and understanding when our return was delayed, which we really appreciated. She also sent lots of adorable photo updates, and it was clear that Molly felt right at home. She got along so well with the other dogs, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such a caring environment. Highly recommend!”

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds.
About: I’ve always loved animals, and caring for them is something that genuinely brings me joy. In addition to raising my own pets, I’ve also helped many friends care for their dogs while they were away, so looking after other people’s pets isn’t new to me. I currently have two rescue dogs and one cat, and they’re truly part of my family. Because of them, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. My dogs are medium to large breeds (about 50 lbs and 100 lbs), so I’m very comfortable handling bigger, energetic dogs during walks and playtime. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, including Bichons, Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Huskies, and other breeds. One thing that sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets—I genuinely love spending time with them. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply relaxing together, I treat every dog and cat like they’re part of my own little family. Seeing them happy is one of the best parts of my day. I also love taking photos and videos of all their adorable moments and sharing regular updates, so you’ll always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and having a great time. In my free time, I volunteer at a local animal shelter because spending time with animals is something I’m truly passionate about. Since I’m currently home full-time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care throughout the day. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel loved, comfortable, and at home while you’re away, and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for just like one of my own. I'm currently not employed so my schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Since i'm home throughout the day, your dog will have lots of companionship, playtime, potty breaks and exericse. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as much as possible. In my home, your pet will have plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day since I’m home most of the time. I live in an apartment with a private patio where we can enjoy some outdoor time and play games like fetch. We also have a convenient dog potty area just a short walk away, making bathroom breaks easy and frequent. For dogs that enjoy exercise and socializing, I’m also close to a community dog park and can take them there with your permission. If your dog prefers quieter walks or isn’t comfortable around other dogs, I’m equally happy to provide individual walks and one-on-one playtime instead. My two friendly rescue dogs love meeting new friends and make wonderful playmates for social dogs. However, I always prioritize every dog’s comfort and personality, and I’ll introduce dogs carefully and only if everyone is comfortable. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your routines and instructions closely to help your pet feel relaxed in their familiar environment. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can enjoy seeing how your furry family member is doing while you’re away.
“We had a very busy weekend where our Chaweenie, Miso, would have had to be alone for large stretches, or travel non-stop in a car all day. So we decided to find a "surrogate family" for the weekend. Shobi, her husband, and girls took great care of her. When I picked her up, she seemed relaxed and happy. We will for sure book more stays with Shobi and her lovely family!”

“Michael is very professional, knows what he does, and Muffin liked him from the first moment they've met. I was receiving regular updates throughout Muffin's stay and was given a comprehensive summary of Muffin's behavior and health at the check-out. Can only recommend.”

“Daniel was wonderful! He was communicative, sent us regular updates, and was flexible with us. We hit traffic on our way to pick up and he was understanding and kind about it. Our babies seemed so happy and at home with him. We would definitely rebook with him in the future.”

“Kimmy and Jesse are simply the best. They take such great care of my dog, give him lots of love and play time. They went above and beyond when my dog had some GI issues for a few days. Their communication is excellent. Thank you guys for everything!”

“Lamija took really good care of our dog for an entire week, providing one-on-one care and attention. She is very sweet and responsive, and sent daily photos and updates. We will definitely leave our dog with Lamija again!”

“Had to leave my 6-month fur ball for the evening. On just a few days notice, Margaret asked great questions about my dogs background and made sure we’d all be comfortable. My dog got great care, got some additional training practice, and had a friend- all of which was documented in photos that she shared with me during and after the visit. Thanks so much and we can’t wait to visit again.”

About: Hi! Thank you for considering me and trusting me with your pup. As a fellow pawrent, I know how stressful it can be to find someone reliable, especially when something comes up at the last minute. My goal is to have a trusted place for fellow doodle families that your pup is excited to go back to and to give you complete peace of mind when it comes to leaving them. I’ll send regular photo updates so you can see how your pup is settling in and doing throughout their stay. My husband (Peter) and I both work from home, so your fur baby will have company throughout the day. We are available for boarding during weekdays and weekends. To make sure every pup gets the attention they deserve, we will only host 1–2 dogs at a time. Your pup will enjoy walks around our quiet neighborhood and also have the company of our friendly doodle, who is respectful with other dogs and happy to play or simply lounge depending on their energy.
About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up in a family that has always cared deeply about animals. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve helped take care of our family dogs by feeding them, playing with them, taking them outside, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. Being around dogs has always come naturally to me. I enjoy spending time with them, getting to know their personalities, and making them feel safe and loved. Even now, I often help friends and family with their dogs whenever they need an extra hand, whether that means watching them, taking them on walks, or just giving them attention and company. I understand that every dog is different, and I always try to be patient, caring, and attentive to their needs. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re spending time with a friend, not just a sitter❤️🐶 I have full availability and a very flexible schedule, so I’m usually able to accommodate most times and days without any issues. I can adjust easily depending on what works best for you and your pet, and I’m happy to help whenever I’m needed. My goal is to be reliable and easy to work with, so you can feel confident that your dog will be taken care of even on short notice or changing schedules. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust are my top priorities. I live on the first floor, which makes it very easy and safe for dogs to go in and out, and I also have direct access to a backyard and nearby parks for walks, playtime, and fresh air. The home is spacious and pet-friendly, giving dogs plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and stress-free so every dog feels at home. There’s always space to rest, play, and feel secure, and I’m able to give them the attention they need throughout the day. My goal is to create a safe, relaxed, and welcoming environment where dogs feel comfortable and cared for at all times.🙋🏻♀️✨
