“This was my first time using Rover dog walk (used dog boarding many times). I sent a very last min request. Miriam responded quickly and stopped by to meet me and my dog. Before and after walk, she sent updates as well. Very responsible. I think my dog loves her too!”

About: I'm a cat lover - I grew up with a cat, and over the pandemic, I fostered two cats for several months each (through Pets in Need)! I've taken care of cats with varying needs, including a shy, elderly foster who needed medication and a younger, more sociable cat. In the past, I volunteered at the local animal shelter (Humane Society) in my hometown, mostly with cats. I'm very comfortable house-sitting / dropping in to take care of cats given my experience. As of fall 2023, I'm now a dog owner! I rescued Lenny, a young, energetic labradoodle who was a long-time stray, and take care of him with my partner Nathan. While dog ownership has definitely been a learning experience for us, we love taking care of Lenny and meeting other dogs. Lenny loves to play with other dogs, so we've decided to offer doggy daycare services on the days we're at home to provide care for your dog and company for ours :) On Wednesdays, my partner and I both work from home, so your dog will have supervision from the both of us. We usually feed and walk our dog in the morning and in the evening, while most of the daytime is spent indoors with potty breaks every few hours. With enough notice, I am happy to make space on my weekends to care for your pet. I have experience making sure pets take their medication and that they don't run outside or get exposed to toxic plants or foods they shouldn't be eating. In my own home, there is no direct access to the outdoors by way of a patio/balcony, so there is no risk of them falling out or getting lost.

“Amber walked our dog every day for over a week while we were out of town. She was super reliable, always available for us to contact and so helpful. I felt like our Charlie was in wonderful care with Amber. I would recommend Amber to anyone who wants to have a reliable dog Walker. Thank you so much Amber! :)”

Colleen M.

“Colleen is great I definitely recommend her!! 🤩”

Sofia M.
“Sofia has provided excellent care for my dog Rocky and my cat Aunix. She makes the safety of the animals in her care her first priority and is excellent at maintaining the routines my pets are accustomed to which keeps them comfortable and happy in her care. She is a trustworthy, responsible, and attentive caretaker of animals. Her communication is consistently clear and effective as well.”

Brianna J.

“I highly recommend Brianna as a pet caregiver. She has helped our family foster and raise feral kittens, and she helped us with the process of adopting a rescue dog, a former stray, giving us advice and practical tips. She guided us in choosing a kitten to adopt as our own and helped us make him feel welcome as part of our family. She understands animals, both thanks to her experience at a shelter and intuitively. All of our pets - Floppy, Dody, Simba and Pipa, have loved and trusted her.”

Laura R.
“Laura was amazing!! She took great care of Wishbone, always extremely loving, attentive and very responsible. I would definitely recommend Laura as a caregiver I only wish she could still be close by.”
