About: Hi I go by Annie and I’ve always grown up with dogs—pugs, golden retrievers, a family poodle, and my own poodle. Though they’ve all passed on, I’m eager to share my love and care with your furry companions. My special skills include grooming my own dogs and raising them from puppies to 14-15 years old, so I’m familiar with both puppies and senior dogs. I currently live in campus housing at Stanford while my partner is in his MBA program. I work remotely for myself (originally from LA), which allows me the flexibility to take on more dog-sitting jobs. I don’t have any pets, making my apartment ideal for dog-sitting. It's near gated areas and large parks, including dog parks, which I'll only visit if you want me to. I provide fresh food, water, and exercise while following your routine and keeping you updated with photos.
9. Maxim F.
“Maxim did a great job with Paris and Cupcake. They were a bit frightened on the meet and greet and barked, but Maxim was patient and gained their trust. He took them for a walk every visit and fed them homemade dog food. He played with them, giving them extra play time. I would definitely use Maxim again.”
10. Chris S.
“Chris has been great! Chris is able to take my hyperactive Vizsla for an hour run, which has been amazing for both myself and my pup. Plus, he is quick to respond and helpful to clarify bookings/rover app.”
11. Kateryna P.
About: I just love animals very much. I enjoy playing with them, throwing a ball, running with them, just walking. I treat each fluffy creature with special love and care.❤️ I have 7 free hours from 6am to 1pm Monday through Friday. So I'll be happy to spend them playing and walking with your favorite pets. 😊 Unfortunately, I do not have the conditions to take care of pets at home, but I can take care of them in their familiar territory.
12. Allison P.
“Allison was very attentive to Fenway's needs while I was on vacation. She has a dog of her own, Bode, and sent pictures throughout the weekend of the two playing as well as updates on how Fenway was doing. Allison was especially accommodating when I was late to pick Fenway up at the end of a long weekend. We'll definitely use her again in the future!”
13. Mark L.
About: Hi! 👋 I’m Mark - a graduate student at Stanford who’s missing his furry friends back home! I’m experienced in caring for all ages and sizes of dogs. I’m the co-parent to a senior bullmastiff and a mini dachshund, and have an 11 year old Portuguese water dog back home in Florida. I have experience delivering medicine and am able to accommodate any of your furry friends specific needs! I’m excited to take care of your furry friend! I’m currently a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule and am able to make most times of day work. Please message me with your specific needs. I am happy to follow your specifications regarding pet preferences such as walk instructions, home rules, etc. I am responsible and especially cautious when it comes to my Rover companions to ensure a fantastic experience for pets and their pet parents.
14. Alexis I.
“Alexis is one of my Shih Tzu-Pomeranian mix Piper's favorite people! That says a lot because, as an undersocialized rescue, Piper generally takes a while to warm up to new people and can get anxious very easily. Alexis was patient and warm, and knew how to make Piper comfortable. And now Piper always gets SO excited when they meet up! I can't recommend Alexis enough!! Bonus: Alexis is also great at taking pictures, so you'll end up with adorable shots of your pet. :)”
15. Kayla J.
“Kayla was great. She took our dog Coco for walks and was always very communicative. We loved all the photos an updates she sent. We'd definitely book with her again!”
16. Erica B.
“Erica just took care of my two cats for a week, at my house (house sitting as well). I couldn’t be happier! I went away with a peace of mind. She is wonderful, responsible, and caring! She took care of all the medications for them as well. My cats love her.”
17. Rachel P.
“Hello! My name is Michael and I hired Rachel to watch my cat and my dog while my daughter and I were gone for a long weekend. She was a great care taker. She came over at least 2x a day to walk Bandit and spent the night to watch the house and care for everything. She texted regularly to keep me informed about how they were doing. We were very happy with her.”
18. Kyle M.
“Kyle is our go-to dog walker and sitter when he is in California. He is loving and playful with our 10 year old labradoodle who still thinks he is a puppy. He takes our pup on hikes and to the local dog park and our pup gets so excited when he sees Kyle arrive at the house. We love Kyle, too. He is polite and considerate, always arrives on time, and is generally a pleasure to work with. We fully recommend Kyle.”
19. Nicholas M.
“Nick is an extremely responsible and professional pet caregiver. He is so good with our pets, playing with them, walking them, feeding them and giving them all of the love and care that they need. Nick is honest, trustworthy and takes great care of our home in addition to our pets. Nick shows up on time and follows through with what he says he will do. I highly recommend Nick; our pets love him and I think your pets will too.”
20. Vivienne T.
“Vivienne has been excellent with Jamun. She is kind to him, and he is happy to see her when she comes to take him for his morning walks! Generally, Jamun is anxious around people, but not with Vivienne. Very happy with the walks and would highly recommend her!”
