I've cared for everything from toy breeds to large breeds, and neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for years to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets. Every size and energy level is welcome here, including puppies and senior dogs, and I'm happy to give oral medications on schedule (I don't administer injections). Safety comes first: dogs stay leashed on walks, your instructions get followed to the letter, and I make a point of knowing where the nearest emergency vet is. My afternoons are flexible, which makes me a great fit for midday and after-work walks and drop-in visits. You'll hear from me on every single visit - photos, our GPS-tracked route, distance covered, and notes on how your dog did, because I'd want that same peace of mind. Let's set up a quick Meet & Greet so your pup and I can get acquainted first. My afternoons are flexible, so weekday middays and after-work hours are when I'm most available for walks and drop-in visits, and weekends are wide open. I keep my Rover calendar updated daily and reply to messages within minutes. For regular clients, I'm glad to hold a standing weekly slot on the same days and times each week so your dog's routine stays predictable. Most of my care happens in your home, so respecting your space comes first. Written instructions get followed exactly, doors and gates stay secured, everything is left the way I found it, and your address and entry details are never shared with anyone. On walks, dogs stay leashed the entire time, I stick to routes I know well, bring water on warm days, and check paws and coat afterward. Before the first visit I make sure I have your vet's contact information and the location of the nearest emergency clinic. After every visit you'll get photos and a written recap, so you always know exactly how your dog is doing.

About: I have loved animals my whole life! A favorite old photo of mine is 2-year-old me hugging my neighbor's baby goat! When I was 8 years old I trained my first puppy how to sit, shake, and walk on a leash. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I cared for pets of friends and neighbors, and also volunteered walking pups at a local animal shelter. My other care experience includes cats, rodents, reptiles and fish! I am primarily available for walks or visits Friday - Sunday with fairly flexible timing! Other schedules may be able to work on a case by case basis. Drop-ins can include cat care (litterbox, feeding, playtime or a lap to sit on) or dog time (feeding, yard time, water checks, etc). Walks can be adjusted to your pet's pace- we can move quickly for maximum steps, or take a slow stroll to smell all the smells!

About: I grew up in a multiple pet family; taking care of the cats, ducks and family dog. Over the last couple decades I have rescued animals including my cat 20 years ago. I have also enjoyed caring for my friends and family animals while away, and any stray wildlife that comes my way too:) Right now I am working to start a resin company, and have a very flexible schedule. My care schedule for my animals is structured but flexible, so we can work with many different demands, my cat communicates surprisingly well :) I follow whatever instructions are given before and during visits, care and safety are of the utmost importance. If there is ever a question, I do really love communication so I'm asking and my ears are always perked!
