“So very amazing! They came over for Christmas weekend and got snowed in which I feel horrible about. Very communicative & took good care and f Julius.”
About: I volunteered at the animal shelter Wanderes Rest all throughout high school. I have experience with many different kinds of animal behaviors. I work as a vet assistant for my job. Which means I know how to handle and take care of your precious fur babies. I can teach new commands if requested. I have experience with giving oral medication to both cats and dogs. I have experience with taking care of both senior cats and dogs. I will be attentive and detail oriented to their needs and care. I have experience with responding to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner. As well as keeping you updated about your pets wellbeing with LOTS of pictures. I've had stray dogs and cats approach me. Without doing anything to get their attention. Animals seem drawn towards my energy. Which is why I believe I'm the best choice when choosing someone to take care of your fur babies with Love and Attention while you are away 💕 I currently work weekends which means I am available during the week Mon - Fri. To drop by and check in on your precious babies. The only times I'm not available are 1-2:30pm since I walk dogs during those times. I am attentive and detailed oriented. I will follow your instructions word for word. Treating your fur babies like my own fur babies with Love, Attention, and Playful energy.
“There are SOOOOO many things to like about Amoreena, and my dogs agree: they love her—even the grumpy old-timer... Reliable, communicative, and beloved by people and animals alike. Highly recommend.”

“Diana was fantastic and we would 100% book her again. Our two dogs took to her quickly at our initial meeting, which put me at great ease. She stayed in our home for 3 nights with our 11 month old puppy and our 14 year old dog. They both have completely different personalities and needs. Diana sent us videos and photos of the dogs, and little updates each day. The house was also well taken care of and looked as if no one had been here. We were able to enjoy our trip without worry and knew the dogs were in good hands. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Juliette was wonderful. We needed a sitter at the veryvery last minute & reached out ~16 hours in advance. I won't leave Sorrelle w/ just anyone and Juliette's profile and reviews were all great so asked her immediately (if I didn't get a good vibe from anyone I would've cancelled my plans). .She got back to me almost immediately! And was so sweet. Absolutely incredible communication from the start through to finish. She came early to meet Sorrelle & learn about routines etc. Sorrelle had no hesitation. When I got back it was VERY clear Sorrelle took to her & vice versa. From the moment I met her it was obvious her love of pets and gentle demeanor. Cannot recommend Juliette highly enough!! Sorrelle & I'll be reaching out to her again. THANK YOU! 🩷”

“Riley was great! He was incredibly accommodating and respectful to us and our dogs. Both of our dogs are 65+ pounds and he handled them well! One of our dogs can be a bit of a jerk at initial meetings, but Riley handled him well and was able to get our dog to warm up to him. He sent photos of the dogs without having to ask and was responsive to all of our messages. We left during one of the coldest, windiest weeks in January, and Riley had no problem making sure the dogs were walked during that time. You can be certain that Riley will take excellent care of your dogs.”
“As always the dogs were well taken care of and Emalynn was a joy to have stay here. They miss her already! It is great to come home from vaca to happy fur babies. Thank you”

“Tyler was very thoughtful, communicative, and helpful the whole time I was away. I felt completely comfortable having him in my home . . . and based on the pics so did my dog Cooper :) would have Tyler back any time!”

“Nick was great in watching my dog, Remy, for over a week. He stayed at my apt, left everything clean, and made significant efforts to make Remy feel comfortable when I was away. Initially, I was nervous to leave my dog with a stranger but Nick's communication throughout his stay made me feel at ease. Would highly recommend his services to other dog owners.”

“She was so amazing! Leah loved her so much I dont think she was as happy to see me lol She sent photos very often and i never wondered how Leah was doing.. Shes awesome and We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to play with and care for your pets! I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet care, and I also offer house sitting on weekends/some weekdays, depending. My open availability means I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine and needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment and stick to their normal routine. About: I’ve grown up with pets. I’ve had two cats until they died of old age. I grew up with a dog until he turned 18 and another dog with epilepsy who is now 11. I currently have my own cat who I lived since I adopted him. I’m on summer break while I’m getting my Master’s in English but taking evening classes twice a week! I would love to fill my days raking care of animals. I currently take care of my own cat who is inside only. I am comfortable watching over outdoor cats and any dog. I have plenty of experience with crate trained dogs if required! I am autistic so I am particularly able to see in a pet’s body language when they are uncomfortable.

“Kara bonded with my cat, which is not easy to do, but important to my cat's and my peace of mind! She was great at communicating and sending updates & pics. She took good care of my home. Kara is an interesting person also!”

“Alyssa was so great with my critters (2 small dogs and one cranky cat) while we were out of town for a wedding. One dog is a recent adoptee who is a very skittish girl- so a little more to handle. Alyssa kept her comfy and safe at home for us. We truly appreciate her and will definitely book again !”

About: Like most of us on rover, I've been working with dogs in various capacities since a young age, but where my experience truly stands out is through my work with the San Diego Humane Society. As an Admissions Counselor there, I worked daily with dogs in all sorts of physical, mental, and emotional states. Through fear free handling and compassionate, knowledgeable care, my team and I took these scared surrendered, stray, or sometimes feral animals and gave them the foundations they needed to flourish. I personally provided vaccines, exams, and behavioral recording to the animals entering our care, and frequently assisted our Animal Care staff with routine pet management and our behavior staff with behavior modification. Outside of my work with the shelter, I have trained dogs amateurly from the time I was a teenager. Recently, this has included taking a young shelter pup born on the street and training him into a fully fledged service dog for a close friend. My own pup is a rehabilitated feral dog whom lived wild in the California mountains until the age of 3, when I began working with her. She went from ripping boards off the deck of her first home to a safe, loving, and reliable companion, through positive reinforcement training and a temporary behavior modification prescription. She's now med free, incident free, and confinement free! If your pup has behavioral needs that other sitters just can't seem to get the hang of, I'd love to be their next chance! I am available after 11am every day except friday. Currently, I have a 3-day notice required for booking, but if your pup is in urgent need, feel free to reach out to me and we will see if we can make it work. I have limited engagements throughout the week, so as long as there is time for my own pup, there's plenty for yours! I will always take the pet owners direction above all else. These are your furry family members and your home, and I will respect any and all wishes you pass to me as the person providing care. Any routines or preferences you lay out for me, I will adhere to, or I will inform you of the need for flexibility promptly. I am happy to provide updates as needed, and will always contact you should any need to deviate from instructions arise. At this time, I am not providing any services in my own home.
University Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
We have never left our girl stella with anyone before. So it took a special person for us to do so.Adriana was that girl and she did not disappoint. She walk her multiple times every day, took care of all her special needs, gave her all kinds of love. She also sent many pictures of her while we were gone.If you need someone to take care of your baby she is the girl that I would hire!❤️
Desiree was amazing! She was available for us very last minute and made the whole experience easy and worry-free. Even though we were only gone for one night, she kept us updated the entire time and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. Our dogs are older and very relaxed, and it was clear they were comfortable and well cared for. She took them on a walk, stayed longer than planned, and we came home to a clean house. We will definitely be booking with Desiree again and highly recommend her!

Cammie was very quick to respond and do a meet and greet same day we reached out. She was very attentive, took very good care of the animals and communicated every time she fed and let my dog out to potty. This was my first time using Rover for my animals and I will definitely be using Cammie again.

Meagan did a great job watching our pups. Bella, our golden retriever, showed off her hunting skills by catching a squirrel. Typical golden she had to roll on her catch to make sure every part of her body was coated with her prize. After some convincing and bribery Meagan was able get the squirrel and dispose of it. And then she gave Bella a bath ... all was good. Our house looked great when we arrived home. And Meagan left us notes on each of the two dogs. It was such a nice surprise to find those kind words. We hope Meagan will be available to watch Bentley and Bella for each of our travel plans when we can't travel with our pups.
