About: I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me and remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I currently have my own dog, who I adopted as a puppy while I was in college and is now 4 years old. Raising her has given me experience with training, building routines, and understanding different stages of a dog’s development. I’m comfortable administering medication, brushing and bathing, handling anxious behaviors, and keeping pets on their regular care schedules. I also have experience walking dogs that pull and can confidently handle strong or high-energy pups while keeping walks safe and structured. Whether your pet needs active playtime, consistent routines, or gentle care and attention, I’m patient and attentive, and I treat every pet like my own. As a current medical student, I understand the importance of flexibility and prioritizing a pet's needs. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and dependable. As a medical student, my schedule is currently very flexible, which allows me to thoughtfully plan pet care into my daily and weekly routine. While there are periods of time when I am less available, I’m committed to clear communication about my availability and will always work to accommodate your pet’s needs as best as possible. Time management is extremely important to my academic program, and I bring that same organization, dependability, and attention to detail to pet care. In my home, I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. I currently live in an apartment located directly across the street from a dog park with both large and small dog areas, which allows for convenient, safe, and appropriate exercise based on your dog’s size and temperament. The neighborhood is safe and very pet-friendly. I’m attentive to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications or special care needs. I make sure pets receive both physical activity and plenty of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency and respect for your space. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and maintain your pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I’m also willing to travel or make special trips if your dog attends daycare, has a preferred park, or enjoys a specific walking route. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and cared for as possible, wherever they are.
