About: I have always had a soft spot for animals and lived with cats. I started getting into pet sitting when I would walk an elderly neighbor’s little terrier, and I thought hey, why not turn this into a business? Now, I’m happy to care for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I am a grad student working a flexible schedule, so I am happy to accommodate pet care at most times of the day and accept last minute bookings. I have completely open availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. ** I am moving on August 18, so I will not be accepting bookings for now after that date. My approach is to adapt to whatever routine is best for your pet in your home. Especially with cats, I find it best to follow their lead.

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. I also have experience with basic humane training and disciplinary practices. Outside of work, my friends and family have always had lots of pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've also fostered a number of dogs and done a lot of pet-sitting over the years. I'm patient, attentive, and happy to give pets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. I am currently a full time student at Syracuse University, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 12pm, so the rest of my time can be dedicated to your amazing pets! I am currently living in a pretty small apartment with one of my cats and two roommates so I do not offer any form of care at my residence. However I have my own very spacious car (2020 Honda CRV) which enables me not only to travel to you but also to safely and conveniently transport pets. Additionally, because I am a student at Syracuse University I have unique access to a lot of large and pet-friendly green spaces.

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. While I currently work a 9-5, I am happy to help support and care for your furry friends over weekends. I am available any time on Saturday/Sunday. About: My husband and I own our home in the Sedgwick neighborhood, which has a fenced-in backyard and lots of safe space for long walks and playtime. We do not own a dog at the moment, so we have plenty of energy and love to go around! We also have years of experience caring for our dogs and sitting for friends who own dogs in a wide range of sizes and breeds. I pride myself on how well dogs listen to me when I try to train them to listen and maybe try a trick or two to keep their minds engaged and give them an enriching daily life. Please consider hiring us; your furry friends will be safe in very loving and nurturing hands. We both work less than 15 minutes away from home (Mon-Fri, 830-4) with full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Because of our sedentary work lives, we try to stay active when we're not working with lots of walks and time outside. Owning our own home with a fenced-in yard allows us to give dogs of any size the room to explore and rest wherever they feel comfortable. We are attentive and LOVE the energy that a dog brings to our home. Having a pet around makes all the difference, especially when we can tell that they feel safe and enriched with play and comfort every day. Pet sitting is a win-win-win for us, your pet, and you!

About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. By day, I work part time at the front desk of a local dog shelter, which keeps me highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable with all kinds of breeds. My shifts are in the afternoon. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate early mornings, evenings, or weekend care depending on the week—just shoot me a message and we can always find a time that works! I work part time mid day so I will have plenty of time in the mornings or evenings to provide care for your dog to fit your schedule and needs. I typically spend more time with a dog than the typical owner. I love dogs immensely and give them my full attention when house sitting.

About: As a recent graduate of the Zoo Animal Technology program at Santa Fe College and a former professional dog bather, I can provide care that goes beyond the basics. I will replicate your dog's normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe while you are away. With my training as a professional dog bather and my degree in Zoo Animal Technology, I have the knowledge and experience to understand animal behavior, recognize body language, and respond appropriately to each dog's individual needs.

About: Schedule-Monday through Friday 6-2:30 I work and weekends off 🫠😁Animals have always been a part of my life growing up. Some of my family has a farm which I got to experience and learn from. I would walk a dog named Molly. She belonged to an older person who struggled with it. All 4 years of high school I was responsible for her grooming, as well as making sure she had plenty of extra love. I truly enjoyed the trust of this pet parent, and Molly that I gained from this time. I wish to continue that commitment now with the pet parents I will be able to meet on here. I have flexible hours with my job. If I am unable to be home my girlfriend is there all through the week. She only works weekends as a traveling vet assistant. On those days I am home to reach our animals and your pets needs. They will always be given attention and love. I have a fenced in back yard and two dogs of my own who are trained and help me train other dogs. Both are working emotional support dogs, as we understand they need a purpose to feel a part of the pack. Our house is big enough that no animals have to be together at any point. If this makes pet owners more comfortable and would like there pets separated to enjoy some alone time.
