About: I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! At my previous doggy daycare job, I walked, fed, administered medication to, and boarded with dogs. I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures) I currently am a full time student and have 2 days off during the work week thanks to online classes, so more time to care for pets! I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. I have one female roommate who is also experienced in caring for dogs, but I will be the only one responsible for the dog’s care. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.

About: I grew up on a farm and have always taken care of cats, dogs, turtles, and chickens. I live in an apartment with 3 girls and one cat (his name is pumpkin and he is a big kind boy!) I’m a very active person, walking and running whenever I get the chance. I’m used to having a household full of animals so I’d love to meet all your pets! I am a full time student but I have no classes Friday-Sunday. I am available early mornings and evenings most days for check-ins or walks! I live next door to a park where the animals can play while also being near the SU campus for great walks! Although I live with 3 girls, my apartment is spacious and they all love animals.

About: I have walked/pet sat since I was 14 for family and friends. I am going to college to become a Veterinarian. I also do community service at animal shelters as well as doing an internship at the Syracuse Zoo. My availability is limited but open. I am a full time student, most people hire me for weekends but we can talk about weekdays as well! I typically go on runs and walks almost daily, I am very active and around dogs all the time. I have grow up with pets my whole life.

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

About: I’ve been take care of my own dog for the past few years and have previously dogs sat. It was definitely a learning curve but I love keeping them happy and healthy! I’m currently open for dog walking on the weekends or after work as I currently work until 5 during the week. Any time with pups would be lovely. I always make it a point to treat other people better than I’d want to be treated, which includes your animals and any of your belongings.

About: I have been interacting with dogs of all breeds and ages since I was 8 and volunteer at local animal shelters as well as taking care of my own pets. I am great with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes! I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree at college and in my free time I love to help out walking dogs and taking care of them! I have a studio apartment with ample park access including a fenced in backyard. I have a 7 year old pit mix who is potty trained and loves other dogs! I also have a crate if needed :)
