Jamie E.

“Jamie is the BEST! We have a super nervous, occasionally reactive dog, and within two thirty minute walks, she’s my dog’s new best friend. She’s great at recognizing body language of dogs, and is always sure to take pictures of my baby on walks and send them over. She also checked to see what tricks Goose knew, and refreshes them with him on every walk. We’re so glad to have her as part of his weekly routine :)”

Samantha W.
“I left my dog with Sam a couple times. Once for a long weekend and once for an overnight! She cared for my dog like she was her own. She always has the best interest of your pet at heart. I would trust Sam again and again to watch my dog without a single worry!”

Karlie H.

“Karlie is great with Chloe and spends a full half hour walking her around the neighborhood. Chloe loves the walks and sleeps most of the afternoon once a walk is done!”

Lou C.

“Our life had some major shifts, which meant my sweet, old puppers would be home for long hours and it broke my heart. Lou from Rover to the rescue!! I'd like to lovingly title him "Lifesaver Lou" for good reason. You can count on him to REALLY love on your animals, be reliable, trustworthy and responsible. I only had to go over routine/instruction one time at the beginning and it has been perfection since. Lou has been walking our fur baby, Achilles, twice a week and I know he looks forward to seeing Lou <3 Love the pictures and the reports I get during Achilles' walk, too! Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking a huge guilty burden off this very busy single mom!”

August S.
“August watched my 2 high needs rescue dogs when I was out of town. They were patient, caring, diligent, and followed my directions to a T. My dogs, who are normally scared of everyone, ended up letting August pet them! I would definitely recommend Auggie to care for your pets.”

Alicia B.

“Alicia is very professional and a great sitter for my two special needs dogs. She sent me pictures of my girls each day they were with her, which helped ease my stress of having to leave them. She treated my girls as if they were her own. I highly recommend her.”

About: Iv grew up around dogs my whole life and have taken part in caring for my family and friends dogs along with their other beloved furry companions. I am responsible , hard working, and have a gentle nature; this has helped others feel like I’m trustworthy to be around to help care for their beloved pets and Iv also been trusted for child care help as well. I’m currently working part-time at a second hand retail store and sometimes par-take in photography shadowing. I will be a full time college student this January of 2024. This may all seem like a lot but My plans are to pick up a safe, friendly side hustle to participate in my free time to put aside extra earnings for a vehicle. My household has three dogs, three cats, and two reptiles. Our beloved four legged friends are always put first to make sure all their needs are met with lots of love to insure they live a happy, healthy life at all times.

Isaiah D.
“Isaiah has been one of my closest friends for many years, and I have seen firsthand his love for all animals. He always makes sure that his cats and dogs are well taken care of and happy, and he has treated my animals the same!”

Anthony A.

“Anthony’s been a huge help with my high-energy and leash-reactive GSP. They’ve really hit it off, and my pup’s taken quite a liking to him. Anthony’s reliable, keeps in touch promptly, and gets what my dog needs. He’s genuinely caring and approachable, which is a big plus. Thanks to Anthony, my dog’s routine has become much more manageable. If you’re on the lookout for a responsible and dog-friendly walker, he’s the way to go.”

Laura S.
“When you love your pets and you consider them to be your family, you would want someone like Laura to take care of them in your absence. She is hands down the best we have ever met. She genuinely loves animals and you can see that in everything that she does. The interaction between our dogs and Laura was amazing right from the start. She took care of them as if they were her own. We will definitely be using her again!!”

Mary S.
“Mary is so good with my dogs and they love when she comes over! She does an amazing job at making sure my pups get the exercise they need. They always come home exhausted and take long naps!”

Anne S.

“Anne was very responsive, took Max on a nice walk to keep him busy and sent plenty of photos for the trip. She is a very responsive and responsible dog handler :)”

Brittany T.

“Brittany was on time and pipe really loved her she seemed to do well with her so it was a win-win I will definitely use her again.”

Hannah M.

“Hannah was amazing and my puppy was well taken care of. You can tell the second you meet Hannah that she truly has a passion for animals. Her schedule is flexible and she communicates information quickly. I highly suggest booking with Hannah!”

Maddie M.

“Maddie did an excellent job walking Sasha while I was away on a business trip. She was on time everyday and sent me pictures and feedback. It was a huge relief to have her there and I will definitely use her on my future trips.”

About: I have had cats, dogs and beyond my whole life. I volunteered walking dogs with helping hounds and am taking animal physiology and behavior courses that allow me to easily connect with new creatures. I am currently completing my UG degree nearby and looking for a good use of my spare time. I will be available all day on weekends and weekdays will be around morning and evening with some short gaps for class. I have a spacious (for what Syr has to offer) backyard with no use from other animals besides the odd stray cat. Your pet will be secure and safe having its own space inside and out.

Zoë M.
About: Howdy, I’m Zoë, a senior finishing my final semester at Syracuse University. Between my siblings and me, I grew up with almost every pet imaginable, including dogs, cats, fish, rats, chameleons, and an axolotl. My friends call my house “the zoo,” especially when we had 2 dogs and 3 cats at once. Currently, my family has one Doberman and two cats, but they’re all back home in Kentucky. I currently have class on the SU campus from 3:30-4:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but otherwise my schedule is very flexible. I have a large Jeep with a dog seat cover, and my back windows roll down in case transportation is needed. My rule is that I always leave spaces cleaner than I found them. Although I cannot accommodate pets due to my shared living situation, I am more than happy to provide for your pets, either in your home or at one of the many parks near my house.

Taylor S.
About: I’ve owned big dogs all my life, growing up walking and playing with Rottweilers. When I moved up to Syracuse in 2016 for college, I knew I was missing something (or now I know, someone)! I adopted my dog Goose during the height of COVID, and quickly learned he was no easy dog. If there was a behavioral problem, Goose had it- no trust of strangers, no trust of other dogs, even a phone going off scared him. But over the last three years, working with trainers- and even other Rover friends- Goose is now my best friend, but more importantly, he’s a confident- and happy- dog. If I didn’t have the group of people who gave Goose his first chance, like I did, I wouldn’t be where I am today! Let me help your furry friend open up to the world 🌎 🤍. I’ve experience house-sitting cats and large dogs, as well as walking all pets of all shapes and sizes! As a cattle-dog mix, my own pet is very high energy: I LOVE long walks and hikes. I work in organ and tissue donation with on-call shifts, so I build my schedule a month in advance and can work around what you need! I often work nights, so my days are open for last-minute walks and potty breaks. I have experience with crating dogs, if that’s how your dog feels safest when alone (when first training my own dog, it was a life-saver, and he now can happily roam the house while I’m gone). I also have experience walking with all types of equipment; Goose is trained on both flat collars, harnesses, and a gentle lead. I’ll take tons of photos of your pet with all the updates :)
