About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I have professional experience working with dogs in a daycare and boarding setting where I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and care needs. I helped care for many dogs at a time, monitored their behavior and safety, handled feeding and medication, and fostered personal connections with each and every dog to establish trust and respect. I also have experience with basic humane training and disciplinary practices. Outside of work, my friends and family have always had lots of pets, including dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've also fostered a number of dogs and done a lot of pet-sitting over the years. I'm patient, attentive, and happy to give pets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. I am currently a full time student at Syracuse University, but my classes only take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after 12pm, so the rest of my time can be dedicated to your amazing pets! I am currently living in a pretty small apartment with one of my cats and two roommates so I do not offer any form of care at my residence. However I have my own very spacious car (2020 Honda CRV) which enables me not only to travel to you but also to safely and conveniently transport pets. Additionally, because I am a student at Syracuse University I have unique access to a lot of large and pet-friendly green spaces.

About: My husband and I own our home in the Sedgwick neighborhood, which has a fenced-in backyard and lots of safe space for long walks and playtime. We do not own a dog at the moment, so we have plenty of energy and love to go around! We also have years of experience caring for our dogs and sitting for friends who own dogs in a wide range of sizes and breeds. I pride myself on how well dogs listen to me when I try to train them to listen and maybe try a trick or two to keep their minds engaged and give them an enriching daily life. Please consider hiring us; your furry friends will be safe in very loving and nurturing hands. We both work less than 15 minutes away from home (Mon-Fri, 830-4) with full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Because of our sedentary work lives, we try to stay active when we're not working with lots of walks and time outside. Owning our own home with a fenced-in yard allows us to give dogs of any size the room to explore and rest wherever they feel comfortable. We are attentive and LOVE the energy that a dog brings to our home. Having a pet around makes all the difference, especially when we can tell that they feel safe and enriched with play and comfort every day. Pet sitting is a win-win-win for us, your pet, and you!

About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. About: I’ve have cared for many dogs in my lifetime. I frequently house sat for friends, and family. By day, I work part time at the front desk of a local dog shelter, which keeps me highly organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable with all kinds of breeds. My shifts are in the afternoon. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate early mornings, evenings, or weekend care depending on the week—just shoot me a message and we can always find a time that works! I work part time mid day so I will have plenty of time in the mornings or evenings to provide care for your dog to fit your schedule and needs. I typically spend more time with a dog than the typical owner. I love dogs immensely and give them my full attention when house sitting.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by 5 English Mastiffs, a pitbull, and 5 cats, so I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and personalities. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for my dog Rex during his final months, which gave me experience with health issues, medications, and supporting pets with disabilities. Over the years, I’ve also watched many different dogs, and nothing makes me happier than when they come back for another stay! It feels like welcoming back old friends. Being around animals truly brings out the best in me, and I treat every pet as if they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and gentle, or needs a little extra care, I’ll provide the love and attention they deserve. Feel free to contact me with any questions at any time! I’m available every day for walks and house sitting! I’m currently in PA school and have just one in person class from 8:30-11 Monday-Thursday. If I have to leave them for any amount of time I will be fully transparent and I will make sure it’s within the time frame you prefer! If needed I can take a pet for a day. I’m currently in graduate school at Upstate Medical and just have a class from 8:30-11. But your pet will always be treated like a family member! They will be safe, loved, and well fed. I love playing outside with dogs because it’s the best part of their day!

About: Having grown up around dogs and cats, I have developed a strong love for taking care of my furry friends, and am so excited to get to spend time with yours! While I currently work a 9-5, I am happy to help support and care for your furry friends over weekends. I am available any time on Saturday/Sunday. About: As a recent graduate of the Zoo Animal Technology program at Santa Fe College and a former professional dog bather, I can provide care that goes beyond the basics. I am working toward my goal of becoming a zookeeper, and my education has given me hands-on experience caring for not only dogs and cats but reptiles, birds, small mammals, and horses. During my time working at the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo, I learned animal care and training techniques, proper sanitation maintenance, animal behavior, enrichment practices, and how to recognize signs of illness, injury, or stress. I'm currently working part-time on Wednesdays-Saturdays; however, I still have some availability during those days to spend time with your pups. I am completely available Sundays-Tuesdays! I will replicate your dog's normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe while you are away. With my training as a professional dog bather and my degree in Zoo Animal Technology, I have the knowledge and experience to understand animal behavior, recognize body language, and respond appropriately to each dog's individual needs.
