“Adriana has been excellent! very responsive and communicative - it's been a joy to work with her and I trust her with my boy completely (an 80 lbs. 8 year old dog who loves all his smells and peeing on everything!).”

“Jamie has been stellar w/ my challenging pitbull! I've noticed a positive change in his overall temperament since she became part of his care team. She is easy to work with and schedule. Definitely recommend.”

“Kaylah was AMAZING!!! Very sweet person, her and Maximus hit it off right as soon as she walken in the door. She walk him everyday as sheduled and even walked him longer than planned. after every walk she sent us pictures of their walk. She feed and watered him after every walk. We will definitely be reaching out to book her again!!! Thanks Kaylah!!”

“Candy was absolutely wonderful with our dogs. She was incredibly punctual and brave enough to come out even in the bitter cold, which we really appreciated. I was especially impressed by how she connected with our new rescue; she was empathetic, patient, and really understood what our pup needed. We will definitely be asking for her time again in the future. Overall, a great experience!”

“John is an excellent dog walker and care taker! Having someone come by my place that I trust is a huge relief. Even in warmer weather Benny still got outside and got great exercise. Thanks so much John!”

About: I have found a way to connect with young or old cats and dogs of all kinds through a patient, loving approach. I make animals as eager as I am to learn behavioral skills while letting them express their personality. In 2015, I fostered two kittens at the age of nine. I then rescued and made them my own. I've had cats in my household my entire life, so I am trained to take care of kittens, adult cats, and senior cats of all personality types. In 2026, I began volunteering at local animal shelters to look after dogs of all sizes and breeds. For three months of 2026, I became a full-time nanny for a two month old Portuguese Water Dog. I trained her basic skills like sit, down, and paw. I trained her behavioral skills with teething, biting, potty training, walking next to me, and not running to other people or dogs during walks. On top of that, I taught her fun tricks like high five, play dead, and spinning. I am currently a full-time college student at Syracuse University. I have classes Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 12-4. I can fit taking care of pets anytime around my class schedule as that is my only big time commitment at the moment. I live in a apartment, so if I care for pets in my own place there wouldn't be a whole lot of room, but I can still manage it if needed for care outside of your home. In your home, I will stay in the respected areas you choose (living room, basement) and get an understanding from you where to get their food, water, toys, etc. If you have a yard, I can play with dogs outside. I have a car so I am able to transport dogs to parks, trails, my apartment, etc.
About: I am a volunteer for two local animal shelters. I am a foster and rescue dog mom. Im also obtaining my certification in animal behavior through CATCH and will then be working as a dog trainer once I’m finished with school. Thank you! I work from home 80% of the time and am available daytime some days during downtime and also in the evenings and weekends. Thank you! I walk my dogs frequently, lots of exercise. I have crates, doggy seatbelts. Whatever your rules and boundaries are I would abide by them. Thanks!
“Alyssa was great with our dog! She is very responsive and provided regular updates when she took our dog on a walk. I would highly recommend her and definitely consider her again for the future!”

“Jill was absolutely fantastic. She walked our Chihuahua, Mocha, for several days a week over about a month while my wife and I were both working, and she was incredibly reliable, communicative, and caring throughout. Mocha can be anxious around new people and situations, but Jill was patient with her and quickly earned her trust. She always followed our instructions, kept us updated, and went above and beyond by giving attention to our two cats as well, which we really appreciated. Knowing Mocha was in such good hands gave us tremendous peace of mind during the workday. We were sad to see her leave to return to college, but we’re very grateful for all of her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter or dog walker. Thank you, Jill!”

“Cori & Jamie were so wonderful with my dog for a 2 hour sit! They monitored her in the heat and was sure to give her breaks when needed. They communicated clearly and effectively, and clearly have a love for animals shown through their quality care!”

About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. Safety and security are always at the forefront.
About: My husband and I own our home in the Sedgwick neighborhood, which has a fenced-in backyard and lots of safe space for long walks and playtime. We do not own a dog at the moment, so we have plenty of energy and love to go around! We also have years of experience caring for our dogs and sitting for friends who own dogs in a wide range of sizes and breeds. I pride myself on how well dogs listen to me when I try to train them to listen and maybe try a trick or two to keep their minds engaged and give them an enriching daily life. Please consider hiring us; your furry friends will be safe in very loving and nurturing hands. We both work less than 15 minutes away from home (Mon-Fri, 830-4) with full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Because of our sedentary work lives, we try to stay active when we're not working with lots of walks and time outside. Owning our own home with a fenced-in yard allows us to give dogs of any size the room to explore and rest wherever they feel comfortable. We are attentive and LOVE the energy that a dog brings to our home. Having a pet around makes all the difference, especially when we can tell that they feel safe and enriched with play and comfort every day. Pet sitting is a win-win-win for us, your pet, and you!
About: Hello! I graduated high school in 2022. During my senior year I attended the Bixhorn Technological Center for Animal Science Boces. There I learned a plethora of skills and knowledge including but not limited to, both animal behavior and phycology, as well as husbandry, nutrition, and grooming. I am trained and capable of administering insulin, as well as I have experience caring for disabled and paralyzed dogs:) I first joined rover in 2024 while attending community college on Long Island, since then I’ve worked a variety of farm jobs as well. Most recently the Suffolk county farm; there I was responsible for the care and livelihood of a variety of livestock from poultry, goats, pigs, llamas, horses, and cows. Please feel free to reach out with questions about farm help as well I would love to do it again! I stepped back from rover this past year for personal reasons, however I just transferred to SUNY ESF and would love to get back into pet care! Right now, I am attending SUNY ESF here in Syracuse NY. I am looking to explore the city and help others with needed pet care :) I am available for overnight care if contacted in advance, but I am always available for regular potty breaks, walks, and play time as needed. I have experience both coming for visits and staying in home for pet sitting,

About: I’ve had pets my whole life (cats and dogs). Currently, my family has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Living away from home for college is difficult without my pets, so I would love to tend to yours as I am missing mine! I’m working part-time while taking classes but always have time for a furry friend (the care goes both ways in my opinion! It’s a win-win). I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have always cared for them. I ensure a mess free environment and love giving the pets lots of love!
“Hannah was so prompt and accommodating for us. She is a delight to work with, and you can tell how much she loves dogs. My timid girl went right up to her, and that says a lot! I’m so happy we met Hannah.”

“Farboud is a great individual who genuinely loves animals. He watched my dog Molly on several occasions, and she always seemed like she had a good time with him. I really appreciated his help and attentiveness to my dog's needs. He over-exceeded my expectations and was a pleasant person to communicate with.”

About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

We have booked with Alyssa multiple times to walk our dog, Rosie, while we are away from home for extended hours during the day. Alyssa is always so kind, attentive, and communicates well. She has even made herself available for last minute requests when we unexpectedly needed to be away. I highly recommend Alyssa!

Cori and Jamie are wonderful pet friends! Ranger spilled his water in the kitchen, and not only did they clean up the water, they also noted that other things were wet and hung them out to dry for me. They always go above and beyond for the pets and the pet-parents.

Thank you so much for taking extra good care of Ranger. I know he can be handful as he’s still a puppy in an adult body. You went above and beyond with pictures and the details of his outing. It makes me feel so good to know he was in such good hands while I was away for the day.

Diana has been great with Cooper. He is usually a timid dog, but he feels very comfortable with her. Diana is also very responsive, and sometimes I've reached out to her at the last minute to check in with Cooper, and she has always accommodated us. She is reliable, great with dogs and a pleasure to work with.
